I stayed two nights at the Beverly, and couldnā??t have been more pleased. This hotel has a specific clientele in mind: Chic but budget-conscious travelers who wish to enjoy the Queen West neighborhood and the rest of Toronto. Yes, my room was tiny, but immaculately clean. And like a clever little ship berth, the sleek white furniture hid away amenities when not in use (like the tv and fridge). So although small, the space felt tidy and restful. Thereā??s no coffee in the rooms, but ple... Read more

Hmmm... I opened the door to my room and thought I was in Paris again. Not what I was expecting for a North American hotel. This said it is clean and central and worked for my business travel. Not recommended if you are travelling as a couple. No way you could fit three in what they call their medium sized rooms.

I only spent one night at the hotel and, boy, what a novelty! The Beverly came as an interesting surprise, easily overlooked between two larger structures. The cab driver couldn't believe there was a hotel wedged in the very narrow opening. He had never heard of it. The entrance to the hotel opens onto a short, narrow hallway with stairs on one side and the dining area only a a few steps away. Just before the dining area I took the elevator up one flight to the reception desk where the concierg... Read more

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel last Sunday night, May 22nd, after driving in from Ottawa to attend a funeral. I picked the hotel largely based on glowing descriptions of a gluten-free breakfast included with the price. This information was on Trip Advisor. The bar and lounge were closed. The restaurant was closed, and access to the elevator was only through the restaurant. We were not pleased to have to climb a flight of stairs upon arrival, as my daughter and I both have minor mobility... Read more

The hotel was very clean but the room was small. It was convenient for us for being close to an event we were attending. We chose to have breakfast in the restaurant. Unfortunately it took over 45 minutes to get our food. The server was apologetic. They were short staffed in the kitchen. In the end they didn't charge us for our meal. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Like New York's Pod 39 hotel, this boutique hotel is modern, small and cool! A few steps away and you're just at American Outfitters, Rudsak (Canadanian brand with real cool leather bags) and so much more. I chose this as it was walking distance to my pick-up point for the bus to Montreal and Quebec. And I was totally awed by the streets both left and right of the hotel. Staff was great in coming down to the street to point me to the streetcar stop (the sign was blocked by a sticker on the lampp... Read more

Visiting Toronto with my boyfriend. Lovely clean (small) room in the heart of queen street and easy access to all of downtown Toronto. Room was immaculate but small, however well equipped. Free refrigerated water plus tea/Coffee available throughout our stay. Only downside was the see through glass bathroom door. Other than that would 100% recommend a stay at the Beverley.

Booked this hotel through Hotwire, you know when you pick the area and the stars and you pick the hotel without knowing the name? The Beverley is located on Queen west, just west of John street. The check I deal is a floor up, above the ground floor restaurant. The elevator wasn't working (it's located in the restaurant and can only be used when the restaurant is open) so if you have an issue with stairs or a lot of luggage, keep this in mind. The check in desk is tiny as is the "lobby". There... Read more

The Beverleys' location is in the middle of a lot of good things... Fun shops, the Rex Jazz Bar, the Crepe Shop, and tons of older architecture! The room I stayed in was smaller than some cruise ship accommodations I've had, but the linens were fresh and the thermostat was easily controlled. There was a little noise from the hallway but absolutely no street noise. This was impressive, given the busy neighborhood it's in. Dinner was not served on Monday night and breakfasts are no longer served a... Read more

This hotel is not for the typical business person or someone who is looking for a lot of space in their room. Luckily I was not in toronto on business and was only using the room as a place to shower change and sleep. This hotel is ideal for that. Yes the rooms are tiny but the location is excellent. The staff at the desk are top class and friendly. I stayed for a week and I would Def recommend. The rooms are spotless and for a hotel in the middle of everything it's very quite and we got uninter... Read more

Highly recommended for a really nice quiet lunch away from the hustle and bustle of Queen St West. Great location . Especially good for a business lunch. Always great service. Generous portions and fabulous fries.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with my sister, and this was not the best experience. We'd read al the reviews before hand, so did anticipate small rooms. However, there is small and then there is minuscule. The room was so tiny, we were shocked when we opened the door. The small double bed just about accommodated us, and we are quite petite. The first displeasure was having arrived there after a long flight from the UK and a very hot day (30+Ā°c), to find the hotel didn't have w life servic... Read more

Fantastic location on hip Queen St West near good restaurants and museums. Friendly and very helpful hotel staff. Very clean room. On our floor our room likely is the only one with a window, which faces a fire escape stairs, a back alley, and a warehouse that is busy (and noisy!) from very early in the morning. Bathroom 'ensuite' offers no privacy as there's a floor to ceiling window facing the room next to the toilet and a shoddy sliding door. In short: decently priced due to early booking, bu... Read more

The room was all white - walls, window treatments, bedding - with an orange bathroom. We stayed in a handicap-accessible room at the front of the hotel, which overlooked Queen St W. If you are not paying attention, you can miss the entrance on the street. It is definitely a niche hotel, but we enjoyed it. It had a window from the shower into the room, so if you're staying with someone you don't want to see you showering or in the bathroom at all, you probably want to avoid it. The TV is mounted ... Perfect place to visit Toronto. Close to the centre and close to much restaurants in the direct neighbourhood. Great receptionist with good knowledge of the surroundings. Room was small, but clean with a good bed and great shower. After a day walking in the city that's all you want. I recommend this place!!

The location is great, close to many restaurants, bars, shops, and public transportation options. The room was clean and modern. As other reviewers have said, it was very small - perfect for just me, but you'd have to REALLY like being close to someone to share that room. You can also see into the bathroom from the room even when the door is shut. Again, fine for just me, but if I were sharing I would be uncomfortable with the lack of privacy. Free bottled water and coffee was very convenient. I... Read more

The hotel is located in the entertainment district, loaded with pubs, restaraunts and clubs. The room was very small. The hotel is 6 stories tall and the elevator has been out of order (per the staff) for 4 months! We had to walk up/down 5 flights of stairs every time we left the room. The staff was not particularly helpful. The TV is mounted on the ceiling and we were having trouble getting it to move into a position we could view the screen. Calls to the front desk went to voicemail and were n... Read more

I arrived at the hotel, which is very conveniently located just West of University Avenue on Queen Street West. I got to the front desk and checked in. They provided me with a water bottle and my key with the wifi code immediately. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was descent. Small with a window that does not let light into the unit. The room was very clean. Overall the price for this room I found to be expensive. It cost $210 for the room plus an additional $100 incidental d... Read more

This hotel is tiny however perfectly formed. Rooms are minuscule however they are done out to a top spec and tbh you only need somewhere clean and comfy to shower and sleep. Deffo recommend and it's right in the heart of the city. Convenience store opposite and surrounded by coffee shops eateries and retail outlets.

I just love staying at this place, the rooms may be small, but everything is conveniently setup and clean. The roof top patio is wonderful in the summer and the breakfast at the downstairs restaurant is a great way to start the day.
