The room was clean, comfortable, quiet, staff was very friendly. Would stay there again when in town. Will recommend to other family members when they go to visit. Free breakfast was a bonus, and coffee and juice available 24 hours was great. Even cookies on the counter when checking in was a nice touch... they were yummy.

The hotel overall was pleasant. Room was small but very cozy and clean. It would better if there was toothpaste in the bathroom. Breakfast was decent, and I have to say their coffee was really good. I mean, really good! The only downside is the hotel had no elevator, so I had to drag my big suitcase up the stairs, which was a pain. The reason I gave 3 stars (I want a 2.5 though) is because they took my stuff. I forgot my electric toothbrush and a bottle of conditioner when I checked out. Later d... Read more

I stayed here for one night. The room was filthy.. If i hate something really bad, is finding hair in the bathroom that is not mine. The bathroom was still dirty, the room was cold en if you put on the heater you cant sleep because of the loud sound! At 02.00 in the morning somebody was talking really loud in the lobby. Not nice! Would not stay here again!

I'm assuming that most people who go to this site want the same thing. The most bang for your buck. If you want a real five star go to the Ritz. If you want a spotless room with a decent bed and an accommodating staff stay here! There is an excellent Italian restaurant/bar called Mr. Z's 1/4 mile down the road that is also extremely reasonable. There is also a shopping mall next door. My wife and I make an overnight trip here a couple of times a year just to stay over for the night and eat at Z'... Read more

Room was average size, but bed very comfortable. Good sized desk and office chair, coffee table and settee. Breakfast was basic but OK (scrambled eggs + bacon or sausage, cereal, waffles, pastries). Not near subway but bus stops close by, Sherway Gardens mall is 15 mins away. Nearby restaurants.

I reserved a room on the second floor but when I checked in there were none available. No apology, no concern and no followup; it was up to me to check the next day. When I checked the next morning a very different experience. A room was available & I moved my things before I left the hotel for the day. During the day I realized I had forgotten to move the items in the fridge. I expected they were thrown away but I found that the hotel had moved the items for me. Totally unexpected & impressiv... This inn is simple and clean with a free breakfast buffet. Rooms are small but have what you need. There is free wifi, free coffee and tea 24 hours. Inly complaint is that the ac units need their filters changed or cleaned.

Back in Toronto for another visit and we stayed once again at the Stay Inn Hotel. Everything was as excellent as the first time. Comfortable bed, clean, nice room, free parking, internet, reasonably priced. This is an excellent choice if staying on the west side of Toronto, but still accessible to downtown. Highly recommend!

The Stay Inn has been my home for the last 10 months, though it took a lot less time to feel at home. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxed. Staff members work hard to keep the rooms and premises clean and comfortable. They are very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help with special requests. I couldn't have asked for more. I will miss The Stay Inn and its staff when the time comes to leave. Thank you to all for your friendliness and kind assistance during this transition time in ... Read more

The hotel is a good hotel with friendly staff. They have a nice big parking lot around. If you wanne go visit Toronto it's just a 20min drive. The hotel also has a great breakfast! Really... We didn't expect much but it was very good! They had lots of different stuff to choose of.

Toronto was very booked when I found this hotel. It is in an older part of Toronto and relitively close to the lake. The room was fairly large and the bathroom and tub was very good with good hot water. The staff was friendly but the biggest issue I had was there was no elevator to the second floor. We had to navigate two flights of stairs.

Down in November for the Royal Winter Fair it's easy to travel to and from this hotel to the Ricoh Center. They treat the returning customers very well ,the morning breakfast is very good and there is a lot to eat always look forward to a return to this place

Reasonably priced hotel for a two day stay. Continental breakfast included. Nice pillows and towels for comparable hotels. Housekeeping could have been a bit sharper but better than the previous hotel in another city. Would stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel when travelling around Canada. It is a fair way outside of Toronto but that just means that it was quiet. They cater to travelling construction workers and general public alike. There is not much to keep children entertained but it is a clean motel with all that you would expect. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but tea and coffee are available all the time from the downstairs breakfast room. Only problem was that there wasn't enough seating for e... We stayed one night and was very pleasantly surprised with all aspects of our stay. Great breakfast, nice room, pleasant staff (excepting for a false fire alarm that spurred us to check out earlier than we wanted). Another plus was the ability to park outside the room to bring in and out luggage thru the sliding glass door. Next visit to Toronto I definitely plan to stay here.

We stayed here for 2 nights, one of which we went to a Jays game. I heard traffic after a game can be ridiculous, but this Inn was a quick drive out of the city- hardly any traffic! The rooms were great! I liked that it had a sitting area with a couch & coffee table. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. A/C & mini-fridge- very convenient. Breakfast was free, so it wasn't too surprising.. You had a choice of: strawberry flavoured waffles with overly-sweet sauce (more like pie-filling), runny scra... Read more

On their website, they had a promotion, stay two nights at regular price and get two nights free. We made the reservation, stayed the requisite 4 nights, but on check-out, they refused to honor the promotion. The clerk made some reference to them having a computer error which was now fixed, but still insisted on charging us full amount. He also refused to contact a manager, saying there would be no manager available that day (a Thursday). We would not have stayed that long at their "regular' ... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights and were pleased. I red some of the articles before booking and people were right again. This hotel is good and excellent if you have a car and want to explore Toronto area. Easy access to major roads. Rooms are spacious and have all the mod cons. Maybe only thing you must keep in mind is that they don´t have elevator. So book your room downstairs. Breakfast is rich but the area is bit tight so be early - it helps. Size of the car park is good - always f... Read more

Were more than happy with this hotel. Rooms were clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was very small so we opted to go somewhere else to eat. This is just a short distance from downtown Toronto but far enough out so it wasn't crowded and traffic wasn't a problem. We went to a Blue Jays game and getting back to the hotel was easy. Would recommend it.

Last minute booking, price was good and reviews positive. Stayed 3 nights, clean, quite, friendly staff, and even thought it's in a bit of an industrial area there is easy access to roadways and downtown is a quick 20 mins. The continental breakfast had a good selection and there was always coffee on. The dining area was a little small but it was always clean and kept up by the hostess. Will stay here anytime.

We've stayed for 5 nights as a family with 1,5 year baby. They provided a baby crib, and the room is big enough for putting a crib inside. Breakfast is average, all the trays with hot food are empty. Location is good in terms of access to main roads but there is no possibility to walk around due to highways around. So it is only place to sleep & have fast breakfast in the morning.

I really have to say that the Stay Inn in Etobicoke on Evans Avenue is a fantastic place to stay. I live out of town and unfortunately have a lot of hospital appointments down in Toronto. The Staff at the Stay Inn are very friendly and pleasant to deal with. The morning breakfast is also a big hit all you can eat scrambled eggs and breakfast sausages, different juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, 4 different types of cereal, make your own Belgium Waffles, toast....the list goes on. The rooms are very c... Read more
