Nice hotel, excellent location just a two minute walk from the Blue Jays. Parking available right behind the hotel at reasonable rates, much better than the valet rate with the hotel. Our stay included breakfast but the first morning it was so busy we just walked around the corner, about a minute, if that, to Cora's. The ice machine is in the freezer of the full size fridge, turn it on when you come in, if you need ice right away, we were able to get some at the front desk. Full size coffee ma... Read more

This hotel is awesome! We have stayed there twice now with our littles and will go back again! Always the least expensive we can find downtown and each room has a full kitchen which is ideal for travelling with young kids! One time we stayed we experienced night noise due to the raptors game. At the time, they dealt with the situation right away and when we came back, they gave us a complimentary upgrade due to our previous experience! Considering we would have had noice in any downtown hotel af... Read more

I have stayed at this Inn several times on corporate bookings, and have come to rely on it due to its central location and well appointed rooms, with a complete kitchenette. I think this feature is rare in downtown Toronto. Good quality throughout, reasonable price, good quality cooked breakfast included, small lobby bar as well. Helpful staff. Very close to the Jays!

I wish every hotel room we stayed in had this set-up! It was very spacious. Small kitchenette area when you walked into the room, which was next to a small sitting area. The TV swiveled on a stand so that you could watch TV either from bed or from the sitting area. Spacious area around the bed, & vanity outside the shower/toilet area. The location was perfect! We went to Toronto to see a Blue Jay's game & the hotel was within walking distance. The only downside was the parking. You could... Read more

Stayed on the 16 th floor for 2 nights. Bed was comfortable. Pull out couch mattress was older but served its purpose. Small kitchen was very convenient especially with kids. Bathroom was well set up too. Breakfast included was great. Used the pool the morning we left and it was pretty busy. Small pool but works for kids. The staff was very friendly and the location was just what we as a family visiting the CN tower, Ripleys aquarium and medieval times dinner show were looking for. Close... Read more

Great location, friendly and knowledgable staff. The included breakfast was top notch. HOWEVER, the room was so hot, it bordered on unbearable. We are platinum elite and were given a room on the 21st floor, next to the top floor. The lowest setting on the thermostat was 65 degrees. Kept the fan on high , the shades closed all day and even our eight year old granddaughter slept in her underwear because it was so uncomfortable. Probably would consider a different hotel next time

There were two of us, my son was with me. We both had separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The open plan lounge / diner has a cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. There were 3 TV's. The staff were very helpful and the lifts were never slow to come. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Downtown area. It's also only a short walk to the Roger's Stadium.

Went to the Blue Jays vs Yankees after a business meeting and the room was a perfect location for a post game celebration and rest. Room had a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Tub was a bit small, but large enough to accommodate an adult. Views of Lake Ontario are great from high rooms.

On a quick business trip through Toronto, I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I arrived very late on the first night and had a quick and easy check-in to the hotel. My room was on the 20th floor which was nicely renovated and very spacious. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but the adjoining fitness centre had adequate equipment (treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines) and a universal which had all the weights I required. Breakfast in the lounge downstairs was very busy but satisfying... Read more

My wife stays at this property often on business and I tag along as often as I can. We have never been disappointed. Our requests for a high floor are usually met when possible, we are always thanked for returning and when you need items in your room they are always delivered quickly. The breakfast is quite good- not cheap. Rooms are spacious, always very clean. Its always busy but the front desk works to move people through any lines quickly. Price is reasonable too for a great location- 5 min... Read more

I was little superised with the room size even already seeing the photoes other reviewer posted. We have a king bed room. The bed is comfort except the pillow is little bit high for me. The room is clean, TV is not that big compared to the large room. The kitchen provided plates, bows, and cooking accessories. But we didn't use it, because it close to the CN Tower and there are restaurants nearby. The breakfast for me is okay, but sometimes you have to wait seats to be available since there ma... Read more

I've had several stays here (30+ nights), and I keep coming back. There was a time when I would try different hotels in the DT core, but nothing compares to the value here. Staff from front desk to housekeeping are all top notch. Large selection with the free breakfast (It can get busy on the weekends). All my stays were in a 1 bedroom suite, which are massive. Never felt like I was staying in a hotel. Feels much more like a condo downtown. Highly recommended.

We travel often and usually always stay at a Residence Inn or other Marriott property. This hotel is in the absolute perfect location for sightseeing in Toronto. One tip, Do not waste your money by using the Valet, and do not bother with the scammers at the above ground parking lots. Stop in front of hotel, unload your luggage, check-in, etc... Then drive forward to the light. Turn Left and then an immediate left again...Directly into the alley behind the hotel. There you will see a green an... Read more

This was the third time I've stayed at this Toronto hotel. It's located perfectly - close to all major attractions, great shopping and restaurants nearby and easy to access. It seems to always be well priced compared to other nearby hotels with such a key location. While it's not super fancy, it's really a good hotel. Parking is expensive ($50/night), so I suggest parking elsewhere. I parked under the Cora's (restaurant) for $20 which is about 30 steps down the street. The 'free' breakfast... Read more

Very expensive, but good location, walking distance to hot spots such as CN Tower and Ripleys aquarium, and Blue Jay's. The elevators are nice and quick. Free breakfast was crowded two days in a row, but you can take up to your room, also good selection. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Seems a little bit dated for the price you pay. Laundry facilities on certain floors, and still using old top loaders. Staff are friendly.

I travel a lot for business, and generally stay at Marriott properties and have experienced and good range of hotel cleanliness and service. This Residence Inn ranks easily in the top 5%. It was difficult to get a place to unload and valet the car, however retrieval was fast. The 1 BR suite was clean an spacious and nice to have a kitchen. This Residence Inn is well-located, right by Blue Jays' Rogers Stadium, a short 5-min walk. It's also well-situated near the financial district and theater area, with plenty of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance, as well as a 5-10 min walk to the St. Andrew subway station. The lobby is somewhat small and cramped, though, making it hard to use as a meeting place. Wonderful and clean room for my stay in Toronto. The breakfast bar was one of the best "free " breakfasts I have enjoyed. A toppings bar for the scrambled eggs was a great touch. Scrambled eggs for a buffet are a challenge. These were great both days. As a partially extended stay facility, this has less frills than many big city hotels. Still they offer all you really need. The comfort of a suite style room is tremendous when traveling.

We had a quick girls weekend in Toronto and stayed here. It was a great location. The room was perfect size for the three of us. However if you plan to sleep on the sofa, try another room with a different bed. The bed was terrible, and I had to call down for clean sheets. The rest of our stay was great. The breakfast buffet had a ton of choice. And out valet (Mario I believe) went above and beyond to help us out! I'd stay there again (but in a different room!)

The kitchen had everything you'd need...stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, dishes, silverware, pots, etc. The bed room had a queen bed...so they say...which was small. Either get there early or you can bring breakfast back to your room since you have a kitchenette. It gets busy after. Staff is extremely friendly. Valet is a bit pricey, $50 a night but there is a parking garage right behind it for a cheaper rate. Close to subway, CN tower, aquarium and Rodgers Centre. I would definitely stay there again.
