We were in the city for a concert at Rogers centre, a short walk away. Spacious rooms, comfortable sleep and good location for events and shopping. With a special rate, really great value for this refurbished hotel. Would stay again.

The location was great for a 3 day business trip with easy access to transportation and several good restaurants. The hotel is lovely with kind and helpful staff eager to make the stay a good experience. The room was very comfortable and clean and the fitness centre was a good size and well equipped.

At the King Edward, you will feel as though you are Royalty. From the rooms to the food to the wonderful staff it was an excellent experience overall. They were extremely helpful when I informed them that I was gluten free, and accommodated my needs promptly and always with a friendly smile.

Wonderful historic hotel, one of those classic places from the days gone by. Elegant, nice atmosphere; great service; brand new and recently renovated rooms and common spaces; good buffet breakfast; happening bar; excellent location, including close proximity to attractions such as Hockey Hall of Fame, and excellent restaurants nearby, including Carisma, one of the best Italian restaurants in town.

The Hotel is well located near all the best attractions. Service is very good and breakfast in Victoria Restaurant has everything we need. Very clean and people in reception friendly. It's next bus stop, metro and PATH, walk under surface.

I stayed here with my mom while we were meeting with vendors for my wedding. The hotel is well situated in the city, close to sights, subway stations, restaurants and amenities. All staff, from the doormen to the front desk staff, are incredibly polite and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel for business travelers due to the well-appointed rooms and for luxury leisure travelers.

Service and amenities are a cut above the usual 4 star hotel experience at the more well known hotel chains. Value for money is exceptional for the level of service provided and the quality of the room. My stay was for business reasons, so I cannot comment first hand for anyone looking for family accommodations. Still, I would expect excellent value there as well.

My first choice for hotels every time I visit Toronto! The King Edward features very large, elegantly appointed rooms in a beautiful, grand hotel setting. Everything so is sparklingly clean - it's hard to imagine it opened for the first time in 1903! You'll find that the staff is professional yet super friendly, and they always seem eager to help with even the most minute details. For adventurous souls like me, having a trolley stop almost righto outside the door was a big plus. The Torono tro... Read more

We stayed at the King Edward Hotel for my birthday celebration weekend and it was amazing!!! The front desk personnel were very professional and friendly! We upgraded to a suite and it was a spectacular room. Shortly after arriving in the room we got a quick call to make sure that everything was good which was a lovely touch. Most significantly was the fact that later that afternoon there was a knock on the door and a plate with a cupcake and Happy Birthday written in chocolate was delivered. Th... Read more
