Room was very good. The hotel was under renovation. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner, both of which were over priced. Not many options in the neighbourhood since it is so close to the airport. A bit disappointed that there was not a complimentary continental breakfast.

Stayed with family for a couple of nights. Renovations underway at the time which contributed to a less than expected experience. Food service was diminished ( no lunches ) forcing us to walk to other establishments nearby. Lobby personnel seemed scarce at times when we wanted information. Rooms were fine however will look to stay next door at Westin next time..

Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke, including the corridors. Staff not so friendly. Hotel very spread out. You may have to walk a distance to get to the lobby. We were with a large group. Many rooms were shorted towels. If you wanted towels, the staff wanted towels in return. If you don't have them to begin with, that is difficult. Staff in the breakfast room were very nice, offering tips on sightseeing and happy to see us each morning.

For a night or so is ok and convenient located to the airport. Free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and return. Rooms ok and clean, not really charming but I got an update to a double bed room. Good sound insulation although airport is close. The bar had a nice view across the airport.

Stayed here twice for work and overall impressed with the hotel - rooms are nice and big, beds really comfy - bathroom definitely need updating. Lobby was lovely a new and contemporary. Restaurant/bar was closed for renovating so it will be far better when this has reopened. No hesitations in recommending the hotel in the future.

We booked this hotel for Anime North weekend through the Anime North site, which included a minimal discount. The impression given by the description was that this hotel was EXTREMELY close to the TCC, and that many amenities were included. Not so. While part of the issue was the extreme temperatures (HOT and humid) a 40 minute walk is not what I would consider extremely close to anything. As well, we booked and paid for two queen beds, and received two doubles. No microwave, or fridge, which i... Read more

It has been quite a number of years since we stayed here we chose this for an overnight to make an early morning airport pickup. We had an upgraded room which had some nice new features. There was ample plug-ins, including three Wi-Fi ports for charging electronics. The television was a good size and good quality and the bed comfortable. The hotel was under construction so parking was a hassle, getting dropped off was a hassle. The hotel has a small temporary reception area during construction. I happened to arrive during a very busy time, so lining up in the small reception area with our large luggage required us to shimmy around for the most part. This hotel is located very close to the Toronto Airport and was being renovated. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. It was just okay, however the breakfast was a buffet style. While it had a nice selection the eggs and meat were cold, and we did not receive very nice customer service at all. We do typically tip at buffets we did not this visit. Our room was supposed to be an updated room but we found mold which we did not like at all and the air conditioner did not work very well. The hotel is pet free which is very much appreciated. The air conditioners are old and very noisy. You can hear the neighbour's machine when your machine is off. Booked on hotwire for one night. Hotel under renovation. Staff nice and helpful. Swimming pool closed for renovation but you can use the Marriot's pool right next to the hotel. Close to the airport, shuttle every 30 minutes. The shuttle was supposed to be free but they charge you 2.00$ per direction....I think that 4.00$ should be added to to the cost of the room. We had to stay here after we weren't able to make our plane connection back to Texas. The airline put us up at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, roomy, and newly renovated. The beds were super comfortable. The check-in process was super fast. They have a 24 hour shuttle that takes you on about a 5 minute ride to and from the airport for no charge. Too much construction outside the entrance and causes a mess trying to park plus add to that dust pouring in the front doors. Rooms are tiny but OK, never acknowledged my Platinum staus until I asked about the extra points. Would have liked to have a more personable person at front desk. A good place to stay near the airport. There is some construction work going on outside the hotel and the parking can be a little confusing as what can appear to be a parking spot really isn't and will block in other cars. Once inside the lobby is clean and appears to have been recently renovated. The rooms are nice, clean with good wifi service. The bathroom had a heated floor which was a very nice touch. The only problem encountered was the bathroom door. It shut easily, but when you went to open it, it was a real struggle. The sliding door just does not work. Attended an all day meeting at the hotel, and the rooms was great except for the fact that the air conditioner was very noisy and we had to shut it off in order to hear each other. ... Read more

This stay didn't start out very well. I had requested an early check in and they told they wouldn't be able to accommodate my request but they didn't tell me this until after I arrived at the hotel. But I guess seeing me sit in the lobby for 45 minutes, they were able to find a clean room and I was checked in my 11:30am. I have to say that was early and they did work hard to find me a room. The rooms have been renovated since my last stay in 2014. Very clean, new mattresses and furniture. ... Read more

I had an all day professional development workshop at the airport and I live downtown. Slugging to the airport on a 2 hour trip was not what i wanted to do at 6am, but it was totally worth it! The staff was above and beyond friendly, authentic, passionate about their job and the new renovations, and attentive to our needs. They remembered I was vegan, and there were so many vegan options, delicious fresh food, amazing variety and over the top presentation. While I didn't visit any of the roo... Read more

I only ended up here because a flight delay caused an unplanned overnight stay. 1/2 hour shuttle bus service, friendly staff, reasonable pub/restaurant, overall a good place to stay if you have a layover in Toronto.

We stayed prior to flying out for our vacation. We enjoyed breakfast buffet and our room was very beautiful. We have stayed here many other times and wanted to let mgmt know their renovations certainly show!

Avoid this hotel. Do not let the looks fool you. They charged me $100 on my credit card for smoking in the room, but I am not a smoker and they have failed to resolve this issue. Basically I am robbed of my money and they are using an false excuse against me. These type of hotels make Airbnb much more affordable and better experience stay without robbing people of their money for false reasons. Also you need to pay $20 parking too at this hotel.

just stayed at the Hoilday Inn at the Airport and I was really surprised, I thought it would be you know, budget, it was a great hotel. Comparable to any 4 star property and new, bright and spacious. Hotel service was exemplary.

Newly renovated, fresh, modern, bright and youthful atmosphere. This property was tired and they did an amazing job waking it up, from the restaurant to the rooms and the staff, what a great change. Still some construction work underway, once completed it would be a five. Airport shuttle no hassle at all.

I needed a quick place to catch a few hours of sleep before an early morning flight. The hotel was close (just be sure to choose the right Holiday Inn! There are two on Dixon Road). Check-in was fast, the shuttle to the airport was reliable, and although there happened to be some kind of conference happening and the corridor was sometimes busy and loud ("It's only 1AM on a SATURDAY, tell him to get his BUTT out to PARTY!") the rooms are soundproofed enough that it didn't disturb me at all. layover hotel (airline let me down again). Got to the room late in the day but the restaurant was still open (23:00) and i was impressed. restaurant was way too expensive for what you get. I suggest you order out if you can. the room was obviously recently renovated and i was suprised to not see carpet in the room. just cold laminate. I didn't like it. the heating system was very old and although it worked, it smelled of dust and smoke ( i guess it wasn't on in a long time) but that is ... Read more

This hotel is newly renovated. It has a restaurant and bar. We arrived after 1am. Due to a run way issue making us stay over in Toronto. The staff are very friendly. And the service was great. The maid service starts a little early for someone who wants to sleep in a little after arriving late. And the hotel is noisy. I have stated in a lot worse places. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. And rate it a 4 out of 5.

My Friday evening flight was cancelled and the next available departure was the following morning. In a bad mood, I booked a room at the property and used the convenient, free shuttle from the airport. The person at the front desk could tell the day went sideways on me and, kindly, put me in a room on a high floor away from the elevator and other guests. To my surprise, the room was updated with laminate wood and the tile floor heated in the bathroom. Since my flight the next morning was early, ... Read more

Great customer service! Only thing I didn't care for are the renovated rooms now have wood laminate flooring. It makes it less coz and less sound- proof. Otherwise, was there for conference and lunch was fantastic! Pool is closed, though.

Stayed overnight to make an early flight the next morning Some construction made getting around the parking lot tricky, but no big deal. Business office wasn't 'connected' yet as renovations were just being finished. Courteous and helpful staff and comfortable night sleep.

Dirty bath towel hanging on the door in the bathroom is not what I would expect from a holiday Inn. We were put up first 1 night due to missed connections. Waited nearly an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport which is interesting since the leave everyb1/2 hours. Hotel is close, clean and staff very accommodating. I was a little surprised when I walked into the room and saw vinyl dark wood tone flooring. I'm sure it is easier to keep clean than carpeting, but not near as warm and ... Read more

I needed a room to sleep for 10 hour layover and decided to try the Holiday Inn as it looks close to terminal 1 which was where i needed to be the next day. I was lucky to find the hotel free shuttle right there when I exited the terminal. The shuttle loop around every 30min and it only took less than 10 min to get to the hotel. Check in was quick and receptionist was business like, no nonsense type. Had to haul my three big luggage up to my room as there was no help anywhere around. Room was ok... Read more

I have been visiting this location as a handy connection to the Toronto International Airport. Lots of changes, new renovated rooms and a great new coffee breakfast place right at the front door. Easy shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes. Rooms were clean and airy with hardwood floors. One of the best Keg restaurants is right across the street or dine in the restaurant in the hotel. Good price too. Never disappoints.
