Outstanding stay here last month. We managed to get a great price for our 5 night stay in Toronto. The room was large and plenty of room for myself and my daughter. The bathroom was also large and the usual Hilton standard. The glass elevators ( on the outer side of the building) provide a cool view both day and night and were an unexpected nice surprise to our stay. We over looked Richmond St and the view was amazing of the gardens and city life. Whilst we didn't eat in the hotel as we prefe... Read more

I took my mom (RIP mom) to Toronto in 2012 after I won a stay at this hotel. I took her Memorial Day weekend so we got an extra day. I flew into Billy Bishop (using Porter Air - awesome airline). It is so cool because they land on a strip in the middle of water and then you take a 'boat' to land. From there, you can catch a trolley that takes you 2 blocks away from the hotel. This hotel is really cool because it has an underground passageway (great during the winter) and is very close to th... Read more

What is happening at Hilton Hotels? No longer anywhere near what they once were. Great room, bed, pillows & good bathroom, but what on earth has happened to the service levels? No bellboys to help on arrival, very poor service levels at breakfast & concierge with little knowledge of best walking distance sights - we can't recommend very highly sorry.

Just came back from an amazing long-weekend trip to Toronto where I had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton in downtown Toronto. To say that the location is amazing, would be an understatement. Cross the street from the Hotel and you are at Osgoode subway station, which connects you to the East-West line and is on the Yonge-University line. Surrounding the hotel, are some amazing restaurants (Little Anthony's, Libretto) that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palette. Walk inside ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to attend a family function nearby. We had a wonderful view of the CN tower from our room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was great. My problem was with a bartender the second night. He refused to allow us to take a glass of wine to our room, telling us we would have to order from room service. He told us room service had the same menu and price, which was not true. Room service staff was not pleasant and English abilities not ... Read more

Very disappointing stay, not the Hilton standard we expected. We paid for an executive room (having lost my diamond status this year) and all we got is aggravation after aggravation. We expected a peaceful relaxing stay and what happened: A) no wifi signal in first room and AT&T said they could not fix it. AT&T suggested a room change. B) front desk said no room available on exec floor unless I downgraded. C) went to duty manager and said that we will accept the downgrade, and expected the hote... Read more

I love this hotel, have spent a ton of nights here over the years. Conveniently located to the downtown - short walk to Eatons Centre, CN Tower, subway line and other TYC services. Tundra is a nice restaurant with a decent menu, Ruth's Chris in basement has great steaks. Fitness centre is well equipped and expanded, pool is excellent indoor/outdoor unit, but I miss the hot tub that was removed 3 or 4 years ago. Overall cleanliness it great!

Great place to stay on business. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. At first I was disappointed that they had no high floor rooms available upon arrival (my usual preference). It turned out that my room on the 5th floor was just fine. It overlooked the outdoor pool area. The hotel was walking distance from my Toronto office. I was able to work comfortably in the room with access to fast wifi. All around, a great stay.

We've moved out AGM from the Sheraton across the road after many years and won't ever move from Hilton now! Professional AV and event staff and the conference rooms are cozier - not to mean smaller, but you can tell they excel at events without making it a big revenue stream, whereas Sheraton has more rooms and offer same conference amenities. They also use same AV companies and while pricing is comparable, conference area isn't as spread out and hard to get to within hotel.

Stay in Hilton hotels almost weekly, managed to renew Diamond this year. Booked this hotel to hopefully finally take advantage of the benefits with the family. Was a bit miffed to find the lounge closed in the Evenings on Friday and Saturday. I thought the only reason this might be is due to the lounge perhaps taking a "hit" at the weekends by guests who possibly travel into Toronto for a night out. Imagine my shock when we went up for one drink on Sunday night to find out the beer is $8 each. I... Read more

I stayed at the Hilton Toronto during a recent visit to the city. I usually stay in the York neighborhood, so this was a new experience for me. The hotel is good - but not great. Because of my status, I was upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious but not nice. Tiny windows meant that the room was dark. And the bathroom felt outdated. If you're staying here: ask for a room that's not next to the lift shaft - you won't sleep at all! If you want breakfast in bed fill in the form and leave it on your door because they didn't answer the phone to me after day one. The Hilton Toronto is walking distance to the shopping and business districts of wonderful Toronto. Hotel staff courteous, rooms big and clean with beautiful views (at least I got an impressive view) The gym is very nice with free weights, about 6 treadmills and 5 elliptical machines and more. If you enjoy walking, then you can basically get anywhere from this location. I enjoyed my stay :)

After a chaotic trip to Niagara Falls, we moved to downtown Toronto for a few nights. The Hilton Toronto was such a breath of fresh air. Peaceful, quiet and calm. We upgraded to a corner suite and it was well worth it. The view was incredible. All of the staff were over-the-top friendly and accommodaing. We were not ready to go home and hated to leave. We will certainly stay at this location again the next time we are in Toronto - it was very central to a lot of things.

Centered between Yonge and Spadina streets. Also close enough for a reasonable walk to the ferry docks for a trip to the Islands (which we highly recommend). My room wasn't quite up to the standards I expect from Hilton Hotels (peeling wallpaper and bathroom ceiling, stains all over the carpeting) however the service was great, the location is great and the bathroom looked brand new. Breakfast on the Executive Floor was also very good with something for everyone. Conference facilities are equally well equipped. The Hilton is on the PATH system so you can get around downtown if the weather is not great. Have not tried the indoor/outdoor pool but seemed popular.

Nothing special about this hotel. Check in was quick at 9pm but the wait for elevator was at least 10mins. Room was standard king room on 18th floor. Although it was on a high floor the street and city noises were pretty loud. I slept with earplugs every night. The water glasses in the room were dirty.

The hotel is near the CN Tower. We had a great view of the tower from our room. Staff were friendly. Ringing the hotel direct meant we were able to request the room we wanted. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and modern.

My husband and I stayed overnight at this location. I was able to check in online and our room was ready when we arrived. Our room was spacious, on the 23rd floor and we had a very comfortable King bed. Overall another great experience at this hotel.

We were a little skeptical when we booked this hotel, given the age of the building, but the saying "old is gold" really applies to this hotel... it was truly one of the most enjoyable stay we had in Toronto. Apart from the welcoming lobby and staff at the reception desk, the room was absolutely phenomenal. So spacious compared to most new hotels these days. Our room had a view of the city so it gave the room eve more space with natural light coming in from the wide window. As for the location,... Read more

We arrived here on the first day and got a room that after a long flight I can say was so disappointing. The bed was so creaky and the room really needs updating. The sofa bed was so old and tired and the furniture dated. We called the front desk immediately and they were more than happy to switch us to a more modern room. It was better but the curtains and furniture really need a face lift. The hotel is very conveniently located and the staff are wonderful. The bed was comfortable but the windo... Read more

We returned to Toronto after a brief stay in Niagara Falls. Previously we stayed at the Ritz Carlton and of course the Hilton was never going to match up to that hotel, especially as when we checked in the luggage attendant was not around so the guests checking in had to take their own luggage to the rooms. Our initial room was rather mediocre. The bathroom looked decrepit, even the hallway to the room had worn carpets. As a Diamond member, I would get access to the Executive lounge but an upgr... town centre, reasonably close to everything in terms of business, shopping ad sports. All that could be expected, good check-in - check out experience. We are Diamond members and were a bit disaapointed that the executive floor is closed for evening cocktails on Fridays and Saturdays (that is not shown on the web site) and we were there (you guessed it) for two days on a Friday and sat nght!

Overall - very clean. Pleasant staff. In room coffee too weak (Morning blend) or only decaf. Location was good for the conference I was attending near by. Close to good restaurants - The Keg, Little Anthony's, Tim Horton.

Convenient to restaurants and public transportation. Room was clean, though the coffee maker was hidden behind a cabinet. Shower was good. They still have an old school TV system that is trying to steer you to ppv, otherwise decent and up to date.

My 10 year old son and I stayed in this hotel for one night before flying home. We had a fantastic view of the CN Tower from our room on the 16th floor. The beds were super comfy and the room was great. Never heard a peep from our neighbours and the location was great too. I would fully recommend staying here and it was a shame we were only there for 1 night!

This is a large hotel. Things are quite busy in the foyer, but the professional and courteous staff make it run smoothly. Nice restaurant in the hotel, as well as a Ruth's Chris in the basement! Rooms are large. Centrally located, just outside Downtown, but close enough to walk and right next to the metro transport. Good hotel for business stay over. Some great views from rooms higher up.

This is my second time at this Hilton. Had my first stay been this noisy, I would definitely not have returned. I'm on the 22nd floor and hear street noise plus the repeated meltdowns of a child on one side of me and a loud tv on the other. The executive lounge is large but compared to the other Hilton lounges (Tokyo, Sydney, Athens, even Memphis, TN), has very limited food and soda options. On the plus side, the rooms are comfy and clean, the bathrooms roomy and the robes are nice.

I was recently staying at Hilton Toronto on a business trip and found it was a very nice Hotel in Toronto. Its located right Down Town and walking distance to most of amenities. They offered complementary WiFi in the room and it had a good coverage within the room and Internet access was very decent as well. I found the room to be very clean and quiet. The front desk staff is professional, which is great, but more importantly, they are exceptional people that made me feel most welcome and that they would be available for anything I needed and would be happy to help. Key word...happy. Lets add..pleased too. That is their great training and general satisfaction with their job.... Read more

No tub but a great shower. Lots of plugs for charging. No free wifi (booooo). Very central location in TO. Close to everything.

The Hilton Toronto is a fairly ordinary propertyâ??it's a standard Hilton, aimed at business travelers, in downtown. The property is clean and centrally-located, but rooms are in need of an update (decor is very dated), and the hotel could use better dining options. There is a busy Starbucks on-property, however, as well as a sizable pool.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it's my favorite choice when visiting downtown Toronto. As a Diamond Member I was upgraded to the executive floor which has been recently renovated. These renovations are wonderful! Dark hardwood floors, wonderful bedding, a huge LG television, and rain-shower in the bathroom! The hotel really takes care of its Hilton Honors guests with touches like a fresh hung bathrobe in the closet and bottled water already in the room when you walk in. The exe... Read more

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights, the first night we were allocated room 2221, this room is adjacent to a service elevator, the noise of which kept us awake for most of the night. The following morning I approached the main reception and said I wanted to move room. The disappointing thing is that the lady on reception was fully aware of the room noise, therefore I assume that the hotel management are also aware, but still they place a guest in this room. I received no apology from anyone fo... Read more

The hotel is very well situated right in the middle of things. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a great size, clean and super comfortable. I loved the pool - swimming in the snow was fun. The only negative thing I can say is that the price of wine in the lobby bar is really overwhelming. The bottles aren't special (general listing) and the glass price is what I would pay in the LCBO for a bottle.

Nice hotel right in the middle of many of the amenities of downtown Toronto. Interesting views from rooms, especially north and fun scenic elevators. Only major concern is parking -- not owned by hotel, but $66 for overnight stay of 19 hours due to triple charges (day 7am to 6pm for $28, night at $10). Lousy way to end your stay!
