Very good location, close to the airport, shopping, and all major highways. The staff were incredibly cheerful and accommodating. The room was excellent with all the amenities I required. The elevators were so fast, you never had to wait. I was there for a conference for several days and did not wait once for an elevator. Overall a great place to stay. Very clean. Stayed at the International Plaza Hotel at the Toronto Airport. The hotel is ok nothing fancy, needs some TLC, carpets rolls in the room. Coaches showing their age. The elevators are not in the middle of the hotel so if you end up in room 60 you have a Very long walk. The rooms were clean and the staff were great. The food in the conference centre was great.

Booked a room at this hotel through for the long weekend in May for my husband and I. I've worked booking hotels in the past and I know that when you book through one of those sites they don't guarantee your room type but most of the time they try to accommodate. This hotel does not. I booked a room with a queen bed and when we checked in it was 2 doubles. I called and asked if there was any chance we could switch to a queen bed room *checking online and seeing some available* and the front desk... Read more

The first room I was offered reeked of smoke. A member of the cleaning staff suggested I switch to another room, and I took her advice. The next room, while it had a better smell, was still not very fresh. The place seemed worn. Our room had an armchair, but no office chair, so using a computer on the table was a challenge. This is an expensive hotel, but in terms of quality, I consider more of a motel. Any money that has gone into the hotel has clearly benefited the main floor, not the 5th flo... Read more

Beautiful Hotel, Great Parking and close to Pearson International Hotel. Close by restaurants include Tim Hortons and Swiss Chalet. Facility has nice pool area with change rooms. There are shops located within for last minute travellers to buy clothing for vacations. If you have extra time, take in a manicure at one of shops for under $60.00 canadian funds. Staff are helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. It can be loud with the planes, but that cannot be helped with the location.

Stayed here for a conference. Conference facilities were excellent as was every member of the staff. Often overrun in the lounge the staff remained friendly and provided excellent service. As other reviewers have said the hotel could use a facelift. Shuttle from pillar C22 at Pearson takes you right to hotel. Starbucks is located inside and Tim Hortons is across the street although expect lineups at peak times. Food was very good in the lounge. I recommend the burger. Another tip: bring earpl... Read more

We come here every year for Anime North, this is the nicest and best hotel in the world. They work really closely with the convention and it's clear because everything runs really well. I just wish they'd stop changing their name. Like, apparently they're changing it AGAIN for next year... you do realize everyone still calls you the Doubletree, right? But the place was super clean, air conditioning was perfect, and they never ran out of complimentary water. Your staff did so good, I hope you t... Read more

So some friends and I were traveling back from Bermuda and had an over night stay in toronto. We found International Plaza Hotel online and the rate was reasonable. The hotels exterior and lobby was very nice but the room was not the best. The mattress was very uncomfortable (you could feel the bed springs) and room overall was old and out dated. There were stains on the carpet in the hallways as well.

Please be careful!!! Just found out that there have been multiple break in and vehicles stolen!!! Once of which was mine! Here's my review for the full story. This place is an absolute disgrace. Please please please do not trust your vehicle here for airport parking!!! We arrived back from a one week trip to find someone had tried to steal our vehicle right from the hotel parking lot. The drivers door damaged and ignition in the vehicle totally ripped apart along with everything taken from the... Read more

Great room. Staff friendly and helpfull. Next time we would go somewhere else to eat. The only place open in the hotel was the pub and the food there was terrible. Bed was comfortable. View from our room was great. Even though we were very close to the airport, the noise was kept to a minimum.Free shuttle to the airport was every half hour.

Let me begin this review by stating we stayed at this hotel for the Anime North weekend and we (my friends and I) were utterly disappointed on how our weekend went down. We first arrived on the Friday and while the start of our stay went smoothly, by the time we reached Sunday, we were ready to pack up and leave immediately. We understand that the hotel cleaning staff have a required amount of rooms they need to clean, but like many cosplayers, we put our "do not disturb" sign outside our door... Read more

After three weeks of touring southwest USA we had the misfortune of using this hotel during a layover between flying from Las Vegas to returning home to Scotland. This is a large hotel with good facilities and a lot of potential but is ruined by an overall shabbiness of the room and desk staff who appear irritated by your presence. Our stay was not a usual stay. I phoned the hotel two days prior to arrival to explain that our flight would arrive in Toronto at 7am and that we would only need the... Read more

This hotel was a breath of fresh there after the Pearson hotel and conference centre! That hotel beggared belief and had no hygiene standards but this hotel has it all! They allowed us to check in at 10 AM and had a competitive rate, three restaurants, Eabha, as bad, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi and so much more. Light switch inside room door didn‚??t work. Curtains didn‚??t close completely and awoke to jets sceaming at the window. Otherwise, everything was very clean. Scored this hotel on a direct Priceline deal for 62.00. We had a late arrival in Toronto and just needed a clean place to crash that evening. This a large conference style hotel with several ballrooms, etc. Starbucks and a couple of restaurant venues are in the large lobby. The hotel is older and has been redone over the years. I read through most of the reviews and it is interesting how the rating goes from -10 to +10. I was booked in here for just one night for business. The lobby looked very promising but the hallways are creepy and the carpet is bunchy all over even in the room. Room is not bad, bathroom ok except that the bathtub did not drain properly. We left our car at the hotel while we traveled to Italy. They keep your car up to 15 days free of charge for a one night stay before you leave or when you come back. Shuttles run every 1/2 or so. Make sure you find out from the driver where the pick up spit is at the airport, it can be confusing. Hotel was clean. Restaurant food was good.

We stayed here the night before flying out to Mexico. The rooms are very roomy and bathroom is bigger than others I've seen. There were plenty of places to eat inside hotel and just outside the doors. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The shuttle to airport runs every 1/2 hour on the hour. The return shuttle runs every 1/2 hour at 20 after and 10 to the hour. It was just what we needed and only $138 for 3 in the room and parking for the week. Can't go wrong if you stay here.
