This was an excellent hotel with fridge and microwave in the room. It provides a free breakfast HOWEVER the room in which it was available had a table with 8 chairs, 2 breakfast bar shelves but only 2 bar stools when their could have been another 6 - 8 added. The breakfast provided was reasonable. In the main the staff were friendly and helpful. It is about 10 minute walk to main shopping area and the starting point for the city tours.

1 - they don't have people to help with your luggage..this is the bad part of it. You arrive tired from the trip with the luggage and they won't help you out with that. They won't delver them to your room. You need to take it yourself. But they have an elevator, so if you 're not SICK and dying you can do it ! 2 - I found a little far from the closest subway station ( Wellesley station). BUT IT'S a good price, so if you want to save money it's good. 3 - Room for breakfast is so TINY you end u... Read more

I really wanted to like this hotel, but I didn't get a single night of good sleep here. The beds are comfortable and the shades are dark, two great pluses. However, the A/C units were poor in a number of rooms our group stayed in and took days to cool down the rooms. The location was good, short walking distance to city center, and it wasn't too much work to get there. We took the Pearson Express train to the train station, then the subway to the closest stop, then still had a few blocks to walk... Read more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn City Centre and were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only issues were the size of the breakfast room and parking. The breakfast room was very small but the server was very nice and hard working. She gave us a tray and told us we could take our food to our room to eat. The parking was about one block down the street (not unusual for Toronto).

The only plus point of this INN is that it is close to Eaton centre. Rooms are small. Not much place to walk. The cleaning lady does not clean properly. We found condom wrapper in the room on checking in. Breakfast is horrible. Can give a miss. Overall too expensive for 200 $ in off season. Stay somewhere else .

- building is a little dated; so the elevators and the overall interiors do show the age - excellent location in down town Toronto; all major landmarks and business locations are highly accessible from the hotel - there is a 24 hours convenience store right opposite to the hotel, which is a great benefit to have when you are not staying in a full service hotel - room was nice and clean, but pretty much no frills - no bathtub; for those who care

I stayed for two enjoyable days. I was pleasantly surprised there was a breakfast room, complete with choice of cereal and milk, juices, waffle iron with batter and coffee. The hotel was quiet and I did get a good night's sleep.

It was filthy! From the cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, to the windows so dirty you couldn't see out, there is NO REASON to stay here or pay here. The sink and toilet both need some serious elbow grease and bleach to get rid of the yuck, the fridge had a broken seal and kept NOTHING cold. Breakfast was awful. Everything was over cooked and luke warm. And the guy at the front desk was rude and lied about the "all night" parking which expires at 6 am, is 3 blocks away and a haven for the homeles... This hotel was very nice the rooms were a bit small but for the price you can't go wrong.they had no parking which really sucked but we did manage to find parking about 3 min walk down the road for 5 dollars a night.the man up front was very helpful with checking in, calling cabs and finding things to do in the city.overall the hotel was clean and nice nothing extravagant but it will do the job for travellers who don't want to spend a lot.

On first appearances the hotel looks to be way out of things, but just a few minutes walk takes you to the main square where everything happens in Toronto. Our room was small and clean, it had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast is included, the waitress was extremely helpful, the only problem was a shortage of chairs for people to sit and eat.

Very basic downtown hotel, checkin smooth, room ready, clean but no lotion in bathroom. Breakfast room small, crowded, eggs burnt, waffle station crowded and slow. We had peanut butter on bread. Elevator creaky. Served our purpose but not a choice for the future.

Very unassuming hotel. Small lobby and nothing else but rooms. The room was small but comfortable. Room had microwave , fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast buffet was included. Decent breakfast - waffle maker, eggs and bacon or sausage. Breads, pastries, cereal and juices. Location is good. Parking is in public unpaved lot about a block away. Hint: press blue button FIRST on parking machine. You're welcome. Overall a good place to sleep and see Toronto. Good value for the money.

Needed a one night stay due to having eye surgery. One of the cheapest hotels in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. I was not inpressed with the surrounding area but that did not matter for the reason I was there. For one night I feel the price was a little steep. Breakfast was statifacty. There was an extra charge for parking of $30.00 which I felt was not right since it was still on their property.

We stayed at thus hotel for 5 nights. Booked via Choice hotels website. We booked early so we received a good discount. We were in room 408 on the 4th floor. The reception area is small but staff are quite attentive. The lift is a bit scary. We used the lifts to take the cases up but we would use the steps to go down and up. The lift feels it's going to stop half way and doesn't seem to feel it's moving. I was told the lift uses water to operate. We received free breakfast which was ok nothing... Read more

This hotel is good for those travelling on business or for families who will not be having an extended stay in Toronto. My family spent one night here only while doing the Jays game/CNE. While I wish it was closer to walk downtown, a quick Uber ride made it very accessible. The rooms are small but clean, and the hotel has a rustic vibe to it (the floor of our hotel room was majorly sloped)!

We heard that the Comfort Inn at this location is a fairly new hotel renovation. I traveled with my girlfriend for a few days to see and enjoy Toronto. The location had great access to subway and streetcar lines, and it was an easy walk to nearby restaurants. Rooms were somewhat small but they were comfortable and had everything we needed. Most importantly, and this is rare to find in many American hotels, the rooms were very quiet! A good night's sleep made the city so much more enjoyable. Rate... Read more

The room was clean and modern looking. The hotel itself was nice. When I checked in no one was around. It took about 30mins before front desk appeared. Later that evening the area of town looked pretty sketchy.
