I will start out by saying I booked with a great rate. I was interested in the indoor pool. We did an early check in without an issue. We had a room facing the highway which was a bit loud with traffic but that is to be expected. We used the pool with our 3 year old three times. The hotel itself is very dated but has a charm. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The food was decent but was very factory made. Nothing special. Over all it suited our needs.

South Surrey Christian Women's Connection has used Pacific Inn Resort & Conference Centre for 5 years now and we are so happy with how we are treated. They have bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. The staff has been excellent and easy to work with. We average 70 - 80 guests a month for a brunch and 2 hour meeting Thank you to Ingrid and Staff as you look after our needs so well!

Hotel is a bit off the beaten path but most of the hotels in this part of town are it seems. The hotel is older but rooms are still basic and nice. The pool is in the middle of the hotel and I am sure the rooms in the middle facing the pool would probably get the pool smell more so if you can get an outside room. I did and you could not tell at all when you where in the room.

I always wanted to stay at this Inn, now I have and will not return. I stayed there with my Mother and regret taking Her there, this Inn is in desperate need of a serious deep cleaning!! The bathroom floor and wall had black stuff growing on it. The door areas and floors were very dirty. Then we experienced the breakfast, that was a big mistake. Any good Chef/Cook should realize that if 75% of the breakfast plates coming back into the kitchen, have over 50% of the food still on the plate when ... Read more

We live in Surrey and decided instead going to downtown or across the border just stay close to the home. This hotel has a resort vibe. It feels like you some where in Mexico. Kinda. lol The glass roof above the lobby, restaurant and pool area makes this place special. Customer service is great. I booked through hotels.com and eventually got queen size instead of king size bed as I thought. Learn about that at the counter:-( , and girl at the counter upgraded us to a king size bed room... Grossly dirty room and the bathroom .. I have no words. Our room faced the pool. What they don't tell you is that the walls are paper thin so at 7 am we were awoken to the sound of families eating breakfast in the restaurant. So loud. The staff in the restaurant are doing their best with the awful food they need to serve. The buffet was so cold. All we ate was the toast. Run down. Dirty. Over chlorinated pool. Ugggh. Will never stay here again.

I have been generous in past reviews of this as aging and worn but rather fun old pink hotel, so I have often recommended it... Until now. I was recently very embarrassed to have suggested the Pacific Inn to a widowed senior who was having a tough time and just needed a little 'resort-y' type getaway on a budget. A family member contacted the Pacific Inn and was quoted a weekly rate of $500 + taxes for one week's stay in a regular room (to start the next day) and they had "several rooms availa... Read more

This is a dated hotel however has some good charm left. Has a "resort" feel. Nice big pool and hot tub area. Restaurant had excellent food, but the service was just OK. They did the best to serve me with a smile and quickly, their knowledge was laking. When I asked for my steak blue, she did not understand what I was asking, then I said "rare" and still did not understand. So I received my steak well done. I ate it anyway, and for a "well done" steak, it was OK, but far from what was ord... Read more

Hotel is close to White Rock and the border with the US OF A. It needs a little upkeep but has a great staff and restaurant is reasonably priced and food is good. Has a pool and hot tub and a fitness club. It has several rooms of varying size for hosting events. Rooms are comfortable and clean.

This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The second we walked in the room it was like walking into a sauna...hotter than hell. The A/C didn't work so they brought us 2 fans and plugged in both fans and neither of them worked so needless to say no sleep the first night due to the heat. The bathtub was disgusting...hair was clogging the drain in the tub and the sink also would not drain. Toenail clippings on the floor, musty smell in the room, incredibly run down room. I recently stayed for 15 days at this hotel with a party of 25. As the Manager of this group (international sports team from NZ) I highly recommend the "Pink Palace". The staff are helpful and approachable, the rooms are spacious, clean and functional, the restaurant worked with our specific requests (athletes on an eating plan) and were able to provide food that met with our nutritional and price requirements as well as variable times to eat based on our competituon schedule, the pool and gym a... When you first drive up and see the outside and Exeter the lobby and see the pool you almost think you're at a quaint Mexican resort.... Then there's the hallways and the rooms. Extremely rundown, dirty, worn out and dated. It was an affordable one night stopover and the kids really enjoyed the pool so for that I'd recommend it. We left too early to catch the ferry to experience the restaurant.

Outside looks completely outdated and the inside is no different. The first room I had was musty, humid, and so outdated. Eventually I requested to be moved to another room. The lobby itself and the rooms facing the pool/courtyard were all humid. It was like being in a sauna. The AC didn't even work. Under normal circumstances I would have never paid to stay in the hotel. Bed was old and had a dip in the mattress. Did not sleep comfortably, I felt diry. I should have followed previous reviews, and checked out the room before I agreed to stay. Our room was not what I would consider updated or remodeled. Yes, it had a nice TV, headboard was updated, and a nice duvet cover. However, did you forget to look at the carpet? Stains galore, the wall sockets were exposed. Enough about the room. Let's move on to the WORST experience. The elevator windows were so filthy, the soda machine was Sold Out. Went to the bar for a drink, and they were out of... Read more

Stayed at the Inn with a large group following a wedding. Several of the rooms were double booked, including a hospitality suite that was planned for the wedding after party. Everyone was also overcharged after being promised a group rate. It's not really the fact that the hotel made a mistake, that happens, but management refused to even apologise and acknowledge the problem. Blame was put on the customers and bride and groom by management is several cases. Several times the front desk dealt w... Read more

New carpeting and maintenance upgrades would make a big difference, nice but not exceptional. Atrium is beautiful but humid; apparently the louvers in the glass roof are not operational to release some heat and humidity. A bit overpriced, would stay again if necessary. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

It is close to midnight as I write this review...I can't sleep due to the filth of my hotel room. I should mention that I am in an "upgraded" room due to my dissatisfaction of the first three rooms that they gave to me prior. After the first two rooms were both the same cleanliness, or rather filthiness, I requested that the front desk clerk accompany me to the third. Upon opening the door it smelled as if someone had just done a stinky in the toilet - not the most pleasant odor to welcome you t... Read more

When we pulled upto the hotel I was shocked at how pink it was. I can see what people don't like about the place as the hotel dose need some updates, the age is showing. The staff were wonderful and pleasant. We came back to our room with my little stuffed wolf neatly placed on our freshly made beds. Only bad thing about our room is for the life of us we could not find the light switch for the light in the toilet and shower area. I found the hotel to be decently clean. When we were there the... Spent labor day weekend here with my family for my son's soccer tournament. The rooms were disgusting. There were stains all over the rug to the point that we did not want to take off our shoes. There was a strong odor of marijuana that came through the vents which was so strong, it was like we were smoking it ourselves. When discussed with the front desk, we were told that the manager would contact us. I'm still waiting. Within 5 minutes of arriving, our toilet was plugged. The maintenan... Read more

This place is In serious need of serious upgrading. In our room: - valance on window curtain was hanging down - repair work on ceiling was not finished properly and still clearly a large visible repair that was ugly - hook on bathroom door has been repaired at least once (a piece of wood had been nailed on to the door to reinforce the hook) and current state is the hook is broken in half (and useless) - bathroom fan sounds like a B737 coming through and the fan comes on automatically with the ... Pictures look nice, but this is just not good. Old rooms, damaged carpet, walls. Noisy, very close to Highway 99, and not well insulated, Bathroom fan comes on with the light, and is as loud as it gets. The free breakfast is 'disinterested' at best. Car needed. (They also had a cat show when we were there. Cats in the rooms, better not be allergic.)

Yes, very good based on what I paid. We stayed because we were attending a wedding nearby, I paid substantially less booking on my own than the 'special' group rate that was offered to the other attendees. So right off the bat I was happy with my 'savings'. The place does need some work but they let us check-in early, check-out late at no extra cost. The free breakfast really wasn't bad and you can package it to take back to the room if you want. I totally understand that if you end up in a... Read more
