I have stayed at this hotel probably 50 times over the last three years. Front desk staff are all great and are very helpful. The rooms are fairly large and the price is very reasonable. The location is in a residential area and there are quite a few shops and services within walking distance. The food at the restaurant in the hotel is OK and service is very good.

We have traveled to Surrey a few times for Taekwondo tournaments and each time we have had a different tournament hotel. This one is by FAR the best. When we arrived we needed some Canadian Currency. There is a bank with weekend hours just a block away. Also within the same shopping center is a grocery store, gasoline, McDonalds, and other fast food including a Tim Hortons. If you haven't been to a Time Hortons...MAKE SURE TO GO! There is a beautiful park across the street with walking t... Read more

This is a lovely property in a quiet neighbourhood, with friendly staff and good amenities -- all at a great price. A really good full menu restaurant breakfast is included as well as WiFi. The rooms are big and everything is clean and new. Huge drawback was the in-room heating/cooling system, which didn't maintain a steady temperature, cycled on and off all night long, and made a number of unusual noises. We didn't sleep well at all. Opening the window would have been an option had it not ... Read more

I stayed here alone last night and found it to be nice. My bed was so comfortable and pillows nice. Everything was clean and worked great. The restaurant downstairs is very good and has good drinks. Staff was friendly. I was allowed to leave cash deposit as I was waiting for my new credit card and got it back after check out

Stayed here for one night as I had work in Blaine the following morning. Check in was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Good access point for the highway straight down to Pac Hwy border crossing.

I stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is new looking, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I really liked the 1 bedroom suite on the second floor as it makes for a restful sleep. The room also had a small kitchenette (fridge, microwave, sink, dishes). I would definitely stay here again

If you are in town for the annual rodeo, this IS the place. We were here for the skateboard competition - same time/location - and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. A great location re: the rodeo grounds and even the casino. Rooms are very nice, clean and well appointed. Quick service at the front desk, walking distance to restaurants, liquor and groceries, no complaints here. Interesting in the bathroom, we could hear conversations from adjacent rooms through the air vent, was wonderi... Read more

Stayed at the hotel for the rodeo weekend. Great family hotel and probably the best we have stayed in Surrey so far. The most distinguishing feature in the restaurant. We never had to go out to eat, the short ribs and lamb osso bucco was a great hit with my family. will come back.

We went as a large group for 2 nights and the rooms were very clean. I forgot my jacket there so they are going to fedex it to me. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Good value for money.

Chose to stay here because of the reviews. This is a new property with very clean and comfortable rooms. Beds were great and the A/C was cold and quiet. Although it was only a quick one night stay would definitely recommend it and would stay there again if the situation presented itself.

As others have mentioned it's a relatively new building so rooms are clean and spacious, the bathrooms included. Main criticism I have is that there seems to be very little staff onsite. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and it was difficult to get anyone on the phone from the room. Also rooms on the north side have a better view but are a little noisy due to traffic in front of the hotel. It's a little far from the main shopping areas of Surrey (King George, etc.).

Traveling to Vancouver for business actually brought me to Surrey, BC. This Holiday Inn was recommended by the client and actually resides in the township of Cloverdale. Normally I am not a IHG Hotels traveler, but this Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations. The hotel is close to the highways, but only in distance. It actually sits on a secondary road backing up to a very quiet and nice looking neighborhood. This in turn provided a pretty quiet hotel experience. The property seems new, and is ve... Read more

Staff attentive. Restaurant which is part of the complex is adequate. No views worth talking about. But the breakfast was wonderful. Instead of having the hash brown there was a generous assortment of fresh fruit accompanied by a sprig of mint.

We stayed there 3 days during our visit to area. Really clean and nice place to stay it is close to border Langley and Whiterock. Rooms are good r caption is friendly. There is mall close for food. Close to reception. Hotel restaurant was good we got good service for breakfast and dinner. I will dfinately suggest and I will stay there again. Price is reasonable and way cheaper than hotels in Vancouver

Decent hotel, good for families, have everything you need. Only issue was the bathroom was small and the sink was outside with little counterspace - hard to get ready without waking sleeping infants/young kids.

We stayed at The Holiday Inn with my daughters soccer team. We had to stay at a hotel provided by the tournament organizers and chose this one because of the great amenities within walking distance (Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Boston Pizza, groceries, etc). The hotel staff were extremely easy to deal with when organizing the group. The rooms were clean and spacious - we had a king suite, which had a large bedroom with king bed, and a living room with double pull out and wet bar with fridge and mi... Read more

This was a great alternative to staying downtown Vancouver where we usually go. The hotel appears to be fairly new, the room was nice, comfortable and bright. The restaurant was really good and we received free breakfast but was basically anything on the breakfast menu which we rarely see in hotels these days. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff at both check-in and check-out were knowledgeable and very friendly. Our room was very clean and quiet which helped for sleeping in! We missed out on the breakfast but there was ample parking and a nice environment so we will come back next year again.

We stayed here for 4 days well hosting the BC girls AA field hockey provincials. Our room was a suite so we had a small microwave, fridge and sink which served us well to feed ourselves and the girls for few simple meals. Bed was very comfortable and seperate from living room space. A double sink bathroom was really sweet.

Stayed two nights while in town for a family function. Great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Easy access to major highways. Traffic out front is very busy during rush hour but it was quiet inside. Restaurant had great breakfast.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and it was a pleasure to see the most friendly staff always there to help you.The managers were very friendly. Food was excellent. The hotel is very near to a gas station where you can get some water etc if required. There is a MacDs across the road. Will return again.

Stay over for a event in the area and rented a king suite. The check in and check out was flawless and the property kept clean. The room was really large with a fridge and wet bar. The bed room was separate and had its own TV. Over all a nice stay and a good price. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel that offered room service. The hotel is also across the street from other restaurants and such. The only problem I experienced was spotty internet service, my room was at the far end.

I have stayed in a lot of lovely hotels in my life, including the St Regis in San Francisco. This one is comparable. There may be a little more legroom in the latter, but the decor and layout is top-notch here. Really bowled over but of course it usually comes from the top. David and Jaz are dynamic and gracious hosts and they have a professional, friendly team of staffers. Glad to have visited the restaurant, pool, business centre and other amenities. Remarkably quiet, considering it's convenie... Read more

This Holiday Inn is close enough to the border and more. You avoid all the Vancouver traffic. The hotel is new and clean. There is a nice, small pool and workout area. This is a good hotel for an overnight trip or business traveler. The staff are nice and you're close enough to a grocery store and other shops.
