Pros: Comfortable bed and convenient kitchenette in studio room. Cons: Busy with kids and no deep end in pool for adult swimming. Stayed here one night while visiting my niece at school. Our studio room had everything we needed including a full size fridge, dishes and dishwasher! The room also featured a pull out couch and desk. The TV was situated oddly next to the bed but it swivels so can be enjoyed from the bed or couch. The downfall of staying on a Saturday night was that the hotel was f... Read more

Nice hotel, but apparently customer service is not a top priority here. We were told breakfast was until 10am, when we got to the dining room at 930 we were told breakfast was over but we could help ourselves to the one cold egg that was left or cereal, hotel advertises a water slide, which was closed during our entire stay, you would think March break would be an ideal time to have the water slide open for family trips, items were missing from our room and extremely rude staff. A suite with a kitchen and full fridge for only a bit more than a room with a bed ... Marriott has got the suite thing figured out. I'm mostly writing this review because I for some reason the phone charger I brought with me wasn't working, and the front desk night staff found one for me to borrow for two days, gratis. A small gesture that was very helpful and will make me a loyal customer. Also, when the pool was at capacity, they took our room number and called right away when there was room i... Read more

We stayed her for two nights and I have a very mixed review of this property. Please note we stayed at the Fairfield just three weeks prior and will go back there. The outward appearance of the property is good including the rooms. The staff is friendly but not particularly effective. We were given room 414 which was more than adequate for us however the room had a sewage or rotten smell when we arrived. I assumed the drains needed to be run so I simply ran the hot water and aired out the r... Read more

We were in town for a family member's funeral. We ended up booking from BC and then encouraged other family members to join us. The staff were exceptional from our angel at the desk, Nicole to the girls working the breakfast buffet. I cannot compliment Nicole enough. She made a very stressful situation, much easier to deal with. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds good! Unfortunately for us, there was a bus load of kids and so we were only able to use the hot tub on the Sunday evenin... Read more

Loved this hotel. Very clean and modern. Room was amazing with a kitchenette. Enjoyed the extra warm pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast could be better. It didn't have a waffle station and the "fried eggs" looked weird and rubbery. Bacon was a turkey bacon type and not real bacon and there was no potatoes or hash browns like other hotels that offer . Other than that I couldn't say anything else negative.

My spouse and I travelled to Sudbury for an extra long weekend. We booked the TownePlace Suites a couple of months in advance. We arrived on time for a 4:00 p.m. check in and our room (304) was ready. It was a nice double queen studio with a full kitchen. The suite had a full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, all cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker and toaster). The bathroom was surprisingly small. I had to actually go into the room completely and stand behin... Read more

Spent two nights here in May 2016. The hotel is very clean, rooms spacious and lots of storage space as well as granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a 24 hour tack shop with every fast food you could want to prepare in suite. Breakfast is spotty but it's free and does offer yogurt, fresh fruit, an egg product, breakfast meet and the standard toast, bagels, juice etc. There is a restaurant and bar open evenings. Staff was very good particularly at the front desk. My only p... Read more
