We were in town for a family member's funeral. We ended up booking from BC and then encouraged other family members to join us. The staff were exceptional from our angel at the desk, Nicole to the girls working the breakfast buffet. I cannot compliment Nicole enough. She made a very stressful situation, much easier to deal with. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds good! Unfortunately for us, there was a bus load of kids and so we were only able to use the hot tub on the Sunday evenin... Read more

Do not stay in suite 401 you will become sick from the strong chlorine fumes getting into the 2 bedrooms from the slide section of the pool. We had to evacuate our rooms at 3am when we all stared waking with respiratory problems, we all headed outside for fresh air, it was awful. We were initially told to open the windows which we did but it changed nothing, they would provide air fresheners, or get someone to come in with a machine to suck all the oxygen out of the room, but we would have to l... Loved this hotel. Very clean and modern. Room was amazing with a kitchenette. Enjoyed the extra warm pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast could be better. It didn't have a waffle station and the "fried eggs" looked weird and rubbery. Bacon was a turkey bacon type and not real bacon and there was no potatoes or hash browns like other hotels that offer . Other than that I couldn't say anything else negative.

My spouse and I travelled to Sudbury for an extra long weekend. We booked the TownePlace Suites a couple of months in advance. We arrived on time for a 4:00 p.m. check in and our room (304) was ready. It was a nice double queen studio with a full kitchen. The suite had a full kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher, all cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker and toaster). The bathroom was surprisingly small. I had to actually go into the room completely and stand behin... Read more

Spent two nights here in May 2016. The hotel is very clean, rooms spacious and lots of storage space as well as granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a 24 hour tack shop with every fast food you could want to prepare in suite. Breakfast is spotty but it's free and does offer yogurt, fresh fruit, an egg product, breakfast meet and the standard toast, bagels, juice etc. There is a restaurant and bar open evenings. Staff was very good particularly at the front desk. My only p... Read more

Stayed here as a family. Close to all amenities. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Swimming pool area was very clean and tidy. Our children were disappointed that the pool slide was only open except friday evening to sunday. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

I driving and on my way to work in Regina, Saskatchewan with my Beagle cross dog when I stopped in Sudbury for the night. I was pleasantly surprised to find this hotel that took pets with not even blinking an eye. The hotel and room was very clean with a pleasant decor. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. It was nice to receive a water bottle with a bowl for my pet dog Joe as a free gift. There is also a great restaurant near by in walking distance. You will not be disappoi... Read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful (even offering to drop our postcards in a mailbox). The rooms were clean and the kitchenettes were good. They had a cooktop, convection microwave, big fridge, dishwasher and cook utensils and pots, plates etc. It was great to be able to have a "home cooked" meal after being on the road for a while on our holiday. The gym was good (2 treadmills, a bike and elliptical trainer and wights (dumbbells). The pool looked great (I didn't get a chance to go in) wi... Read more

I was very impressed with the hotel. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were excellent. Friendly, polite and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The location was also good. Close enough to downtown. However we used the meeting rooms and they were clean and again the staff very helpful

This was a great hotel. It was absolutely spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had an incident with a cologne bottle and Mike was there almost immediately to clean it up. The front desk staff and manager were helpful with restaurant suggestions. The bed was super comfortable. There is a small kitchenette in the room, complete with fridge toaster microwave and dishes again everything was super clean. Loved this hotel and will definitely stay again when I am in the area.

This was a wonderful hotel full of friendly staff and VERY clean. We were able to catch up on laundry duties while one overnight stay afforded us a good night's rest! It was extremely clean and staff was both helpful and attentive to our comfort and needs. Breakfast foods in AM were hot and tasty. Highly recommend for a short term or several days. A great value.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for three nights in early July. Lots to say...! First the room: nice simple modern decor. Our room came with a nice small kitchen. The TV worked well. Internet was free and fastt. The only negative was that my pillows were a bitt too soft. I like them a bit firmer but that might just be me. Next the location: easy access to Science North and highway. Minor negatives: you can't walk anywhere...but then Sudbury is not really a walking city. Also, no real vie... Read more

This place was good. It was in a great location, and gave us a comfortable sleep. The staff was accommodating and our 2 bedroom suite was nice. I'm not too sure why a 5 year old hotel is showing so much age to it however. From the furniture in the room, to the dents in our fridge, to the stains in the carpets near the elevator, you could see wear and tear all over the place. The fault doesn't lie within the hands of housekeeping because the room and grounds themselves were very clean it's simply... Read more

Stayed here for a week in a King room. Clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom was functional, clean and updated. Full kitchen was wonderful ( pots, pans, dishes, full size fridge, hot top) especially for longer stays. Pool open late with fun slide. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Meeting rooms had everything we needed, good size. The only fault, some of the hotel slightly dated and old ( minor) but most has been updated ( kitchens beautiful) and the location is horrible! I like to walk and nothin... Read more

From the greeting when we got there, the follow up call to the room to make sure it was all in order after we got in, to the friendly staff, this was a fantastic family place!! The pool with the waterslide was so much fun for the kids. A five minute drive to Costco, seven to Walmart if you need groceries for the full kitchen. Full dinette table and chairs so you could still eat as a family. Would definitely go again and would recommend. The only thing I'd recommend is what great Wolf Lodge has... Read more

Second time visiting and staying in Sudbury. Driving there is insane especially for the population. So after a stressfull drive into the city, arriving at our hotel took the stress away, with staff that were second to none, clean and comfortable room, and great breakfast. I recommend staying here.
