The room was nice and clean , overall not at all bad for the price we paid. The downfall was that we were unable to shower because there was no hot water at all, not even warm.Although we did not try the restaurant we were told it is fabulous.

We have stayed at this hotel almost 10 days with few rooms and very happy with everything. As we were contractor always look for quiet and comfortable place to stay. Originally we booked at other hotel in town and found very unprofessional. While we moved this hotel had little concerned with hot water just because of last review. Neither I nor my other colleagues had any problem with hot water. We were in backside room. We enjoyed our stay and timing of the morning continental breakfast was sim... Read more

Good apartments they say they have just been redone but it was not finished with the renebations. The front desk worker was not much help either. There was a free breakfest included but its from 6:30 am to 8:30 am in the week and from 7:30 to 10 am on weekends.

We stayed here twice in the last three weekends, once with a queen room booked well in advance, and once in a double booked the day before. Ironically we were in 205 and next door in 206. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms have been modernized. The blackout curtains, and roller blinds on the front windows keep it dark from the sunrise. The large frosted window makes the bathroom very bright. The air conditioners/heaters worked extremely well - air two weeks ago, and heat a couple of day... Read more

We we're visiting relatives in the area and didn't want to impose by staying over. It was late and after driving around the city at 2 a.m. looking for a reasonable place to stay we found this gem. It's a great place to stay! Breakfast is great. Try the waffles. I am staying here again this summer.

I had a clean room which had been renovated with new decor. Bathroom was nice too. I appreciated the comfy lounge chair with ottoman at the end of a long day. Mini fridge and microwave were very convenient

Don't let the location of this Inn doubt you. Very clean rooms, great shower and comfortable bed. Felt safe and secure as room keys required to enter the building. Would highly recommend the restaurant for dinner, sizzling Mongolian. Breakfast which was included in the room had more than enough choices.

Friendly staff on check in. We thought it was very clean and comfortable. No noise and dark out curtains was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling through Sudbury. We didn't have breakfast even though it was continental as we needed to leave early.

My family stayed at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a non smoking room. It was very clean and all completely renovated. There was a microwave and mini fridge in our room too. Yes it was a smaller room then usual but to be honest we thought it was perfect! Again so clean ! Staff was friendly and the hotel visit included a free continental breakfast. It was all very fresh! The price was great and overall we were happy!

Room was very nice. We had a room that was ground floor and available from outside. Saw big nickel from rear window. (LOL!) Had microwave and small refrigerator. Arrived late, front desk very nice and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast. There was yoghurt, and fruit. Hot waffles, assorted breads, cereals, juice, coffee and tea.

A little sketchy from the outside but the room was clean, air conditioning, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, t.v., wifi, firm mattress. Not a lot else available but for overnight it was inexpensive and clean. You can see the big nickel from the back of the building and it is only about a 10-12 minute drive from downtown. Tim Hortons just up the road. Free breakfast (yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, waffle maker, bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, toaster, peanut butter, jam, butter, cream cheese)... Read more

Another nice surprise! Very good bang for your buck! Room was very modern (newly renovated), clean and cozy. Was not expecting a nice room like this for under $80 and this included a breakfast. Would for sure recommend this place to anyone travelling through Sudbury. Did not try the restaurant for it is closed on Sundays and Mondays but close driving distance to local restaurants. Front desk service was excellent. What more would you want!

It's an affordable yet nice place to stay for budget-minded travelers. The place was renovated recently so the interior and furniture are relatively new, and there's complimentary breakfast -- albeit not the greatest but still something. I would stay over again if I happen to be in the area.

This is an older Inn under renovation. The room we stayed in had been updated and freshly painted but still looked older. It was clean and comfortable and the linens were great. Only the main floor is wheelchair accessible. There was new carpeting throughout. The breakfast was great with cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, muffins, coffee, & juice available. The staff were very helpful. They had booked us a 2nd floor room but changed it to 1st floor as our mother had limited mobility and coul... Read more

For a hotel that has a 2 star rating, its really not bad at all! Reasonable rates compared to some of the other much more expensive rooms in Sudbury. Hotel room was clean, and has a modern feel to it once inside. Free wifi, cable, and continental breakfast. Kinda odd washroom, with high windows that connect to the hallway to add light, but other than that its definitely a good stop for a family to stay. Who needs more more than this?

There is nothing special about place, It is an "OK" motel to stay at during a road trip. The place claims to be renovated, but I would rather use definition "partially updated". There is a mix of outdated and updated features. Continental breakfast was good.

This hotel has had some renovations to the rooms (TV's, beds/linen & vanities plus much more). This has upgraded the property but, there is a need to upgrade more. The breakfast area and lobby is one of the first impressions made on guests and these areas need to be next and fast tracked. Attention to detail in the painting, cleaning of the rooms also must be raised to move to the next level. My stay was a one nighter, it was comfortable, it was good in a market that needs more hotel options to... Read more

Great rate for very comfortable stay. Comfy beds, clean rooms and hot water pressure is very good in shower. Breakfast was good and variety of breads, begals, fruits, yogurt, juice, waffle, coffee, etc. Restaurant(Siizle Mongolian Grill) in hotel has very delicious and healthy food. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip of university in Sudbury.

Good budget hotel. No real amenities nearby, but lots within a few kilometers. There is a restaurant in the hotel. It seems rather industrial in the area, but that's most of Sudbury so no big deal. The staff was friendly and the room we had was clean and quiet. Renovations are underway in certain parts so it will probably be nicer in the near future, Breakfast is included with your stay. Its a good place to stop for the evening if you are not looking for frills. The price is very reasonable and... Read more

Clean, friendly, and nice in the important areas, like bathroom, fridge, microwave. Older motel trying to rennovate. It is located in an industrial area, so don't look for a view. Online booking saves us money, too. Continental breakfast.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, nice bathroom, and the one site restaurant was quite good for supper. The included continental breakfast was nice and simple. The food was fresh and they even have a waffle maker! ;) It is located on the main street, but was very quiet. Just a few minutes from downtown, and we could even see the big nickle from our window.

The price was right, and location was good for travelling through Sudbury. We stayed here and caught the Manitoulin ferry to Tobermory no problem the next morning. The room was clean and not outdated. Bed was great. We had supper in the restaurant attached to the inn, Mongloian style, and it was a great meal! Only criticisms I have is the noise from the neighbouring rooms (especially bathroom noise), and the breakfast provided was on the skimpy choice side. For the rest though, this was a good p... We were here for a night during our road trip to Vancouver. A part of the hotel was in renovation. The room was ok, clear but a little outdated. The price was good for a night and breakfast included for 2. No noise during the night from the street. The restaurant on site was very good too.

I've been to a lot of hotels in Sudbury, as a young entrepreneur I sometimes stay more than a single night, and the housekeepers have always helped keep my room tidy. There is a new Greek housekeeper there, and she was a doll and always smiling.

This hotel was very well priced for two double beds. Rooms were spacious and they supplied an extra blanket which helped with the weather. Location was ideal for what we required and the free parking was an extra bonus. Would recommend if you are looking for a stop over for one night

The Sudbury Inn is in the midst of renovations, our newly done room was quite nice. Upon arriving, early we were allowed into our room and made to feel welcome and comfortable by the desk clerk, possibly an owner. The room was spotless. Though it was obviously an older motel the bed and bath room were new and comfortable. Our breakfast was continental in style but certainly plenty for our day of driving and sitting. We would stay there again.

My wife asked the receptionist lady to keep a small handbag at the reception and pick it up later after finishing her shopping in Sudbury. The receptionist lady rejected saying they do not have a space!!!! I've never had a problem keeping my luggage at the reception and picking up later on the same day. I tried to talk with the manager and left a message for him but he never bothered himself to call back. Customer care in this hotel is the lowest priority to the management.

I spent 2 nights at the Sudbury Inn in November. The room was recently renovated. The desk area had a comfortable desk chair and adequate lighting for the office work I needed to do while there (although I had to plug/unplug the desk lamp into the powerbar to turn it on and off). Lots of soft towels, very nice bathroom, comfortable bed. It would be nice to have a powerbar or electrical outlets at the bedside table for charging phones etc. The microwave/fridge served me well for supper and s... Read more
