Easy to find, close to everything. Rooms have been renovated and are great. Whole stay was very quiet and not overrun by uncontrolled kids. Pool /hot tub a bit older but clean and a great spot to relax before bed. Nice to have a restaurant on site for meals and a lounge for a nightcap or to grab a Starbucks coffee. Will try the sunday buffet next time.

The section we stayed in was very new and looked lovely. However, the shower is just silly. It's s walk in and looks very nice. It has a part floor to ceiling glass wall that does very little to keep the water in. You have to stand under the shower to turn it on so get blasted with cold water. The head is so high on the wall you can't reach it for adjustment. It is also very slippery so I had to hang onto the glass partition to keep from falling. And again the toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet... Read more

This Holiday Inn is a bit weird. The lobby and front area are really nice, and the front desk people were really friendly and helpful. Once you go back to your room is when things get confusing. There are a bunch of wings to this hotel, and what looks like a separate building in the back. The pool area is downstairs in one of the wings (it's indoor). Our room was on the 4th floor in the wing closest to the lobby. The floor just has about 10 rooms on it and nothing else. Ice machine was ... Read more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn (Regent St, Sudbury ON) in early May 2016. You can tell the rooms have been updated since this Hotel has been in town for years. They did a nice and clean upgrade - however I did want to note that you can also tell that some of the upgrades were in the cheaper (just want it to look nice) range. If you are looking for clean and a nice place to stay - Holiday Inn is great. Would I stay there again, yes I probably would. Things to note: Shower has one knob (hot and cold... Read more

We just got back from a 3 night stay at the Holiday Inn, and I must say, it was very pleasant. It looks as though the whole hotel has been renovated, as its interior is clean, modern and attractive. On the outside, there is plenty of free parking available. We were very pleased with our room. It was large, air-conditioned, and nicely furnished with ample space to store our stuff. It had an easy chair with a lamp above it for reading, a new flat-screen TV, and two of the most comfortable beds we... Read more

I've stayed at most of the hotels in town and this is a good pick. It's clean, serviceable, recently renovated, and the staff are friendly and courteous. I wouldn't say the sheets are the nicest I've ever slept on, or the rooms are gorgeously appointed. But I'll likely stay here next time I'm in town.

The staff at this Holiday Inn were all very pleasant and helpful in choosing local restaurants. The hotel has been renovated, but it's very oddly laid out. The elevator is small and hidden down a long hallway. The stairs were a faster and more efficient option. We were told at check in that as gold members we had been upgraded to a bigger room. Great, we thought! The room had an extra space tacked on with a couch and coffee table in it, nothing else. A completely useless space, with no tv... Read more

Had a very comfortable stay at this Holiday Inn. It is an older building but has been wonderfully modernized, but in the common areas and in the rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I did eat at the restaurant in the building, as well, and the food was well prepared and served. Relatively easy access off the main highway and before getting to the downtown area. Would recommend.

We usually choose holiday inns first over other hotels when travelling unless the location doesn't have one or if they do and its full. As stated its a very old hotel that is being modernized, but you can only hide so much of the damaged and worn out hardware. Review of Holiday Inn Sudbury, Ontario This place such a welcoming space, beautiful decor and staff who go out of their way to please. Genuine congeliality. Their breakfast spread is fit for royalty, so are most of their menu items. An ideal place to go there, to rest or do business. Their nearby waterfront park is a must, to crown ones stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice bar area. Rooms lack soundproofing making a good night sleep difficult. Cleanliness needs work, hallway was not cleaned once in 3 days. Location far from prime shopping
