On May 4, 2016 we arrived at this hotel after being evacuated from our home in Fort McMurray and driving for 22 hours. We were registered into a room with two queen beds for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We have been coming to this hotel for almost 20 years and the best rate they could provide was $114.95 a night. Hotels all across Alberta were providing extremely low rates, if not free accommodations due to the tragic circumstances of people being evacuated from their homes. I am sadden to see th... Read more

We required a hotel with specific amenities to host our annual gathering of folk dancers from across western Canada: multiple, good-sized meeting rooms, including two large enough for a crowd to dance in; flexible and helpful meeting/catering staff available for late night events as well as throughout the daytime; services for over 300 guests from western Canada, other parts of N. America, and Europe; and located near the Arden Theatre, the venue for our performances. Michael and his staff provi... Read more

Very clean room. King size bed was very comfortable with 5 big fluffy pillows. Fridge, microwave, flat screen cable tv and hairdryer. Quiet at night. Felt safe. Friendly staff. Pool and fitness room. Great access to West Ed Mall. Easy to commute from. In room coffee Mother Parker isn't my favorite but they served better coffee in the lobby.

This hotel and it's staff went out of their way to help all who needed them, allowing pets when they normally don't. Being a hub for donations to all evacuees, and taking care of everyone as much as they could. The owner personally was seeing how everyone was doing and helping out where he could. We had such a great experience here!

The hotel was amazing in providing the meeting rooms and guest rooms for the convention that had over 200 people attend. Very professional in attending to guest requests and organizing events. Food, rooms and staff were excellent. Highly recommended for any kind of large function. They provided 8 meeting rooms of varying sizes to accommodate all of our needs. Hotel worked with committee throughout the planning and very successful delivery of 4 days of activities.

Words cannot express how wonderful this hotel is. During the Fort McMurray fire we called trying desperately to find a room that would take us with our pet. This hotel took all of us Fort Mac people in with our pets. Needless to say it was a great relief. The front desk people, the waitresses, the cleaning staff were all so compassionate and professional. The hotel set up an information table in the lobby that helped us find what we needed on a day to day basis. A room was provided that the... Read more

A large group of us booked two nights for a local sports tournament. We found the rooms small. They were not cleaned beyond surface dust etc.... our toilet was stained around the base and seat hinges. The floors were dirty and dusty behind furniture and in corners and we had the same blood stained sheets left on for our second day (my son's blood, I hasten to add!) No breakfast, which was a disappointment for the price. Staff were either friendly or not at all! Our biggest concern was that at l... Read more

Very good place to stay. We had to book last minute and they let us come in early and acknowledged our military status. The rooms were clean with good linens. Quiet. Starbucks coffee and fresh muffins complimentary. Had the pool and whirlpool pretty much to ourselves.

The hotel is medium priced, clean enough rooms, small rooms. We booked the hotel for service club work at the St. Albert casino. Close to the amenity. Great parking. Good restaurant attached, with good service and food. The only problem I had....They allow dogs, which is O.K. if they are small dogs, but there was a monster dog that was allowed to stay in the hotel, although the dog seemed well mannered enough, I have a problem when its the size of a small horse.!!! All the staff is very friend... Read more

We had an excellent room facing the front parking lot. The view was great and I could see my vehicle , which had tires in the box of the truck. The front counter staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The dining area was also very pleasant as well as the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have great service at an ideal price.

Great hotel for teams to stay on west side of Edmonton. They were great in accommodating large groups. The pool and waterslide were great. We only wished they had more connecting rooms. Close to all amenities (save-on, shoppers etc). They are renovating so ask for a renovated room.
