I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. Always enjoy desk staff addressing you on entry and exit with a good evening or good morning. Rooms are clean and for the most part well maintained. Internet is spotty at best, and chokes during peak use periods. This appears to be a common issues with the advent of high bandwidth users in a hotel setting. As an included amenity, I am reminded that during my recent visit to Las Vegas Internet was a 15.00 us per day add on cost, so a ... Read more

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel and all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and supportive. We were very pleased with the Sunday brunch and the people there were amazing. I don't know who trains your staff but they certainly know not only how to teach people to do a specific job but the attitude of all those young people was nothing short of impressive ,Cheers !

The hotel staff were great, friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. They certainly do welcome pets. The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is because the restaurant was "just ok." Unfortunately it was not the best food, even though, the servers were friendly. We had one dinner and one breakfast in the hotel, and the breakfast was good. The dinner we had came with frozen cooked veggies on the plates, not a fresh veggie...in this day and age, not so great put... Read more

This hotel is a strange mix. The rooms are very nice, there is a resturant on the premisis that is OK, and it is near everything. Does anyone remember how the internet was back in the dialup days of 1988-1990? The WiFi at this hotel runs at about half of dialup speeds. Even checking email is painful, searching out something on Google can take 15 minutes if you don't time out. The beds are great, the service great, the rooms are on par with a Hampton or Hilton Gardens, the only thing that is... Read more

So excited to come visit family. Got here a day early, front staff was pleasant. The equipment in the workout room didn't work, disappointed for sure. Ordered room service and got the steak Neptune and the steak was full of Gristle and the sea food was imitation sea food. The beds and pillows were very comfortable so I was very thankful for that!

On May 4, 2016 we arrived at this hotel after being evacuated from our home in Fort McMurray and driving for 22 hours. We were registered into a room with two queen beds for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We have been coming to this hotel for almost 20 years and the best rate they could provide was $114.95 a night. Hotels all across Alberta were providing extremely low rates, if not free accommodations due to the tragic circumstances of people being evacuated from their homes. I am sadden to see th... Read more

We required a hotel with specific amenities to host our annual gathering of folk dancers from across western Canada: multiple, good-sized meeting rooms, including two large enough for a crowd to dance in; flexible and helpful meeting/catering staff available for late night events as well as throughout the daytime; services for over 300 guests from western Canada, other parts of N. America, and Europe; and located near the Arden Theatre, the venue for our performances. Michael and his staff provi... Read more

Very clean room. King size bed was very comfortable with 5 big fluffy pillows. Fridge, microwave, flat screen cable tv and hairdryer. Quiet at night. Felt safe. Friendly staff. Pool and fitness room. Great access to West Ed Mall. Easy to commute from. In room coffee Mother Parker isn't my favorite but they served better coffee in the lobby.

This hotel and it's staff went out of their way to help all who needed them, allowing pets when they normally don't. Being a hub for donations to all evacuees, and taking care of everyone as much as they could. The owner personally was seeing how everyone was doing and helping out where he could. We had such a great experience here!

The hotel was amazing in providing the meeting rooms and guest rooms for the convention that had over 200 people attend. Very professional in attending to guest requests and organizing events. Food, rooms and staff were excellent. Highly recommended for any kind of large function. They provided 8 meeting rooms of varying sizes to accommodate all of our needs. Hotel worked with committee throughout the planning and very successful delivery of 4 days of activities.
