I am from Squamish and was fortunate enough to grow up here so perhaps I'm a little biased but I think this is a great hotel. I remember the hotel from the seventies when it was under a different name. It had been around for years but I am very impressed with how it is kept up. The rooms are nothing fantastic but they are clean and spacious. Which ever direction you face you are guaranteed a beautiful view. The restaurant is large with quick and personable service. Great menu! The lobby... Read more

We were so disappointed in our stay here. First off the place is pretty run down. It's noisy, it smells, the owner/ manager turn out to be a real jerk. When we made reservations we called and let them know I have a service dog. We had been there two nights and he came in and told us we couldn't have my dog inside the motel. I showed my letter saying she was a legal service pet. He was extremely embarrassed because of the fuss he made about her. When we first showed up they told us when would ... Read more

Recently renovated hotel, clean on inside. Hot tub is kind of small. Room offers great view of surrounding mountains. We used this hotel for the bc familyday weekend. We did country ski in calaghan valley whistler and stayed the night. Next morning we went to sea to sky gondola. Nice and quiet as we are early and one of the first ones up. For breakfast we went to tim hortons across the road.

The website is a little misleading. the rooms look very up to date and bright. My room was a little dingy and had a gross smell. My guess is that it used to be a smoking room. If i was going to be any longer than the 8 hours i needed to sleep i would have left and gone somewhere else.... because of the smell. The room was really clean and the staff were nice. while the roof was literally out my patio door - i had a great sized patio and beautiful mountain view. I had a second floor room and di... I stayed at this hotel because of the conference I was attending. The hotel had been booked for a year prior to the event and the hotel knew the average age of the convention attendees would be at least 65 years of age. The entire hotel was booked for this occasion. We believed that the manager had given us an excellent price. However, according to those staying elsewhere, the rate was similar. I, like many of those attending, am handicapped and therefore asked for an assessable room. I cal... Read more

Rooms are big, and clean. Beds are very uncomfortable (can feel every spring). Rooms are NOT sound proof, so stay on the 3rd floor. Staff was polite, food in lounge was bad, mixed drinks are average, music was from the 50's and 60's.....snoozer! Nothing special here, and couldn't wait to move on.

Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable. Rooms are large. Old hotel, and it has that musty smell of older coastal facilities. We were there for one night drop off. Reasonable price for what it was. Easy check in. Front desk clerk was very nice, friendly. Room had a microwave and small bar fridge. The outside is run down and not to inviting but much better interior.

We needed a place to stay overnight on our two week trip. This was clean and the room was spacious. That's about all I can say. The hotel said there were mountain views..true but I also had a view of the roof with all the air conditioners. The tv was very frustrating to fact it came with a whole page of instructions. I just want to turn it on and flick through channels after a long drive and I didnt have reading glasses near me. Pain in the butt. Wifi was poor. Town was just gas stations... Read more

The hotel was so clean and service was very good. They have a spa and workout center and dry sauna. Sheets were crispy white and very close to downtown area as well as Whistler. Hotel has balcony overlooking the mountains and the blackout curtains were really nice to have.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights on a romantic getaway weekend. Our room was very clean. Staff attentive. Bed comfortable. Excellent hot tub and sauna. Fitness room adequate. It was nice to have the microwave and fridge in our room. We didn't eat at the reataurant as some of our favourite restaurants are in the area and to be honest the Jumping Seagle just didn't look too welcoming. This is the only reason I didn't give the hotel 4.

We stayed here my mother and I for 4 nights and found it very comfortable, roomy, clean and the staff were very accommodating. Will stay again and take advantage of the beautiful scenery and the fact that the hotel is close to a shopping center and starbucks.

The Hotel was close to shopping and sights. The Room was very large with Microwave and Fridge and the Wi-Fi worked very well. Make sure you ask for a room on the top floor as we stayed on the 2nd floor and both nights we heard footsteps from above all night. It was very noisy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It would be nice if Breakfast was included.

I got what I expected. It's more of a motel rather than a hotel, but the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Looks really bad from the outside, but the inside is better. Would be fine for an overnight stay.

When I checked into the hotel the lobby receptionist was inundated with customer complaints about having no hot water, however, he told me that the problem had just been fixed and that hot water would be restored within 10-15 mins (otherwise, I would not have checked in). I then found out from other guests that they had been told the same thing for hours before I had even checked in, many having complained for hours and all of whom were furious at being led down the garden path about the hot w... The hotel was clean and comfortable and located near convenient amenities. The staff were fabulous and tried be be as helpful as possible. Upon our arrival we actually experienced an unexpected plumbing issue which could not possibly have been anticipated by anyone (it was a rather freak incident), however the hotel acted immediately and called in a plumber at double time cost to fix the problem (which had something to do with the main plumbing system affecting the building). The hotel actually ... Read more

Unfortunately, there is not much else in the area in the way of budget hotels.. So unless yr willing to pay top dollar, or drive on up into the mountains, and want to stay safe.. Yr pretty much staying here anyways. Initially greeted at the door in a very rude fashion, we left, browsed around in a few different areas, and returned to get a room. Not at all what anyone would expect for a hundred bucks. We have stayed at roadside motels In tourist destinations all over Canada to compare to, and... Read more
