We stayed there one night on our way up to Whistler. We found it clean, bright, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was included but was very basic. It is located at the north end of town - and I mean the end! Check it out on Google maps / satellite before you book. Plenty of parking and other facilities that we did not have time to use. We found the staff friendly and helpful.

Came for a family event. We were able to check in an hour early with no previous request to do so. The room was clean quiet and nicely modern. I travelled with another adult, a 4.5 year old and a 2 year old. The queen size beds (2) were very comfortable and we had a nice selection of pillows. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. The hot tub and pool were lots of fun for the kids, and they enjoyed watching older kids on the water slide. There was good selection at the free breakf... Read more

On our way up to Whister BC during March 2016 Spring Break, we stayed 2 nights at Sandman Hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel included free breakfast & parking. There's an in door pool with slide for the kiddos, exercise & laundry rooms. Our room has a small sink & mini fridge that was a plus to store milk and fruits. I believe there are some room with a small kitchen. Overall we will definitely stay there the next time we visit Squamish. You defiantly need a car to get ... Read more

The staff were amazing and extremely helpful with our needs. The rooms were large and clean. There was a decent fitness room. They also have a pool with a water slide which I did not get a chance to use. I had a very comfortable stay. My only issue was that the lighting was a little dim for my liking. But everything else was wonderful.

This was a really fun hotel. The staff were super pleasant and upgraded us to a bigger room. The hot tub was really nice, and the waterslide was really fun- felt like a little kid again. The complimentary breakfast was better than others I had experienced. They provided hard boiled eggs, an assortment of fruit, cereal, pastries and oatmeal. I would definitely go back again.

Rooms were spacious and seemed to be clean. Breakfast was lacking. Pool was very cold. Price is quite high for what you get. My biggest concern was that housekeeping stood right outside my room WHILE I WAS IN THE HALL and liberally used the F word while talking trash about their jobs and the customers of the hotel. Obviously, inappropriate. Brings question to how well of a job housekeeping is doing!

We have stayed here several times at this great hotel since it has opened. I have previously given this property top marks, however, on our most recent stay last weekend (May 27/28, 2016), I feel compelled to share my VERY negative review of what happened. I have a disability, so on check in whenever I travel, I request extra time for check out. I have never encountered any issues for this request, as I usually only ask for an extra hour or so. Of note, the check in staff were great. They wer... Read more

Stayed here 6 nights touring Vancouver and Whistler and it was a great choice. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit every day. There is a lot of hiking and sight seeing in the area and we ended up going to Whistler a couple of days.there is a lot to do in this area with a small town feel.

The room was large and beautifully decorated: soft beds, cupboard space, coffee & tea, iron, big bathroom, lovely smelling toiletries, plenty of choices for breakfast, lots of parking (at no cost). The hotel is about 2km out of town and not well marked from the highway but it's worth finding. The staff on the front desk were very helpful for whatever I needed. Though the hotel was fully booked on my weekend, check-in and check-out were fast.

This motel was exceptionally nice. Very new and very clean. Breakfast was very good. Pool and hot tub were well maintained. Staff was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend the Sandman. Squamish is a beautiful area with great trails and hiking.

We stayed here before going on a cruise. It was perfect between Vancouver and Whistler. The biggest attraction for the kids with the pool with a great slide. The breakfast in the morning was fine. Everyone was very helpful.

Definitely a family hotel because of the water slide. The rooms have good sound proofing in the walls but the doors have a large space below them so you can hear everyone coming and going in the hallways. Was awoken early by children crying and running in the hallway. If you are traveling without kids, I'd recommend a different hotel to get a good nights sleep. Friendly staff, rooms are in good condition and location is convenient to access from the highway. Breakfast included.

This Sandman is located in a quiet neighbourhood with views of mountains. The room is spacious with separate bedroom and sitting area. The microwave and mini fridge provided convenience. The air conditioning worked well. Continental breakfast was adequate though we didn't eat carbs. More fruit would be great. The dining room was spacious. Staff were very helpful. We had car battery problem and Jason was very helpful. Generally the atmosphere was friendly and easy going. The hotel is a short walk... Read more

It's located in a quiet spot which was very good for us, and it was near Walmart. They had lots of free parking spaces, and was easy for us to move our luggage. When we went in the lobby to check in, the staff there was very friendly with us and explained to us where the room and other things were. Our room was clean and nice, and the air conditioner worked fine. The pool, was way better than expected. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was lacking and was a disappointment, but had a ... Read more

I phoned the hotel and talked to Raj, a very nice lady and told her I wanted to pay for the hotel so my son could stay there at my expense. She sent the information as promised. I sent back all the necessary paperwork by email back to her within the hour which was a day prior to him checking in. When he checked in, they insisted they had not received anything from me and charged my son for the room. My gmail account tells me they had received the information. Very disappointing

An airy and clean hotel with views of the mountains, currently marooned in an area under development it is convenient for the town centre and a short drive from Whistler. We would definitely stay here again although we don't enjoy busy places on holiday so would avoid staying at weekends. If you are travelling with children you'd be in keeping with the majority of the weekend guests and everyone seemed happy. Car parking extends around the building so don't be put off if you see congestion on ar... Read more

Good rooms, nice and clean, friendly staff. The room had a fridge and microwave as well as a coffee service. However, the free breakfast isn't great - it's almost all carbohydrates like bread and bagels. Also the wifi is incredibly slow. If you're planning on watching YouTube, forget it.

We booked one night here on our tour of vancouver and surrounding area but once there we booked a second night for our return journey. The duty manager Jason was most helpful as we needed to shorten another booking. To fit in the extra night and he helped us with the reception phone. Our king suite was very spacious with a very comfortable large bed and a double shower plus a large bath. The hotel had a lovely pool with a relaxing jacuzzi and water slide for the more adventurous. Quiet location ... Read more

Awesome hotel with pool and slide to let the boys get rid of some energy after car journey. There's a launderette on site, we had a double room deluxe with kitchenette. There's a continental breakfast which wasn't great and chaotic as hotel full and can only sit 40, but it was ok. Wouldn't stop me from me staying there again. There's no restaurant in the evening but lots of restaurants a drive away.
