Met at Reception by a very nice young woman that was polite, prompt and courteous on arrival. My reservation was ready and room available. The room was very clean and tidy and comfortable. The restaurant in the Hotel served us the next morning with good food and good service. I'll be back here again.

Check in was quick and efficient got to room and discovered air conditioning was not working was switched to another that seemed to have air conditioning working only to find about midnight that it would give off a loud squeal or bang each time it kicked on explained to hotel staff in morning they attempted to fix it but figured it would need further repair and I requested to be switched again and they did so. Now on to our third room air condition worked excellent room was clean aside from powd... Read more

Rooms were clean, good size with a fridge. There was ample parking including covered. The pool is small but the tall water slide was a hit. The whirlpool was also good. Rates were reasonable. There is an on site restaurant but we did not eat there. Location is close the the main highway and nearby attractions.

Although many people are not pleased with the location, if you have a car, it is a great spot at a great price. My husband was pleased that there was a Tim Hortons a block away. :) The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The pool and hot tub looked very inviting, however we did not have a chance to enjoy it due to our busy schedule of visiting family and sight-seeing. The hotel was very busy with Tough Mudders and other groups with children, so the pool and hot tub were quite busy most of... Read more

I pre-booked 2 rooms a week ahead of time and when we arrived I was told only 1 room was booked, it was their mistake, but I said no problem, what they should have done was given us the 2nd room with the same price as the pre-booked room, but he didn't, he charged our friends more, no big deal, but customer service is everything! The rooms were nice and large, good air conditioner, ok size bathroom, fridge and microwave which was nice. No facecloths, so had to go down and ask for a few at the f... Read more

Where to begin, well we got to the hotel to check in and I booked 2 rooms online and when we checked in they said only 1 was available under that name. So we got 4 people in 1 room comfortably. We went up to our room which was very clean, and spacious, has a fridge & microwave and coffee/ hot water pot, also had a TV and desk. We were so hot from the weather we went into the pool (which looks large on websites but was small-sadly) The water slide was a lot of fun, and the hot tub (that holds 4... Read more

I should have written this a number of days ago just for the incredible experience. We arrived late in the evening after being on the road for over 16 hours. We are greeted at the front desk by one of the many great staff we have become acquainted with from previous visits with a "Hi guys, great to see you again. I hope you don't mind, but we have upgraded you to a King Suite for the weekend". The room was very nice, clean and very comfortable. We are certainly looking forward to our next visit ... Read more

Check in was easy, friendly front desk person. Hotel has 4 floors, elevator/stairs. Restaurant attached to hotel. My brother and I had a room with 2 beds, very comfortable. Good views of mountains. This hotel was a good value, and located between Vancouver and Whistler.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 pm, assuming that we could go right to our room. Instead, we were told we would need to wait 45 minutes (it ended up being an hour) to get into the room. This, despite the fact that we were arrive well after check-in and that I had called the day before to confirm our reservation. Once we got to the room, it was missing towels, hand-towels, and garbage bags. I started to wonder if it had been cleaned... What we did like, however, was the pool (I didn't swim, but our... We chose this hotel as the prices were rather high in Whistler and it was a good price in a good area. We were greeted by Marjorie and she was very helpful. A bit of confusion with the reservation; however, it was cleared up in no time and up to the room we went. It was clean and as expected. The only thing that we didn't like was the bright light that came from the thermostat on the wall and the volume of the unit that kept the room cool. The rest of the property was well kept with beautif... Read more

If you are looking for adventure fun near Vancouver this is the place to stay. Staying at this hotel puts you in the right spot and allows you to put your money into your fun adventure rather than you hotel room. The rooms are very clean and updated and well worth the price. We travelled with 2 kids enjoying outdoor fun hiking, biking, paddling and as if that weren't exhausting enough they spent the evenings in the pool and using the water slide.

Standard room with 2 comfy queen sz beds, microwave, coffee maker and bar size fridge. All we needed. Kids used pool with waterslide for a bit. Wifi worked great. Nice to have a beer and wine store on site and a restaurant also. The pizza we ordered was not overly great, but was nice to get right from on site.

To start, we had a family suite with only 4 big towels & no washcloths - there were 5 of us. Kitchenette didn't supply napkins or paper towels. Pull out beds had mattresses that were way past expiration date. No continental breakfast. Staff was hit or miss. No extra garbage bags. Now for the positives - we recieved extra towels and pillows promptly after calling. The room was clean and spacious and king size bed was comfy. The first night we were there the cleaning lady showed up about 4:00 in the afternoon and we had just come back from a long day. It was a little upsetting to see our room had not been cleaned. She said they had just gotten to the third floor and were ready to go home, but had five more rooms to clean. I told her we would be out again in about 10 minutes and they could come in then. She was back in 5 minutes and I was curious how she could of cleaned 5 rooms in 5 minutes. We left then. I also had... Read more

This was for an overnight stopover on a road trip. Main impression of the place is that we had walked into the 1970's as hotel is very dated in decor and rather dour. This extended to the check-in process which was functional without being friendly. We ate in the attached restaurant which was nearly empty, food was good yet service was a bit below average. This all sounds a bit negative, but the reality was that it was clean, had good facilities and was great value. There is a Tim Hortons a very... Read more

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel and the first since it is been rebranded without the Best Western name. The rooms were clean but the staff seemed a bit overworked, although most of them were very nice. Please note that the telephone system is labelled improperly. We didn't use the pool so cannot comment on that but overall the facility seems to be in good condition. This is a great basic place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent visit to the Whistler area. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and quiet (our room was located on the top floor and not on the highway side). The common ares are dated but the room is fine. We look for a clean comfortable room that is not dated for a reasonable price, this fit the bill. The restaurant next door is great for breakfast.

Very comfortable stay. Smart move to avoid the more expensive area like Whistler. Great stop for Sea-to-sky Gondola, Shannon's Falls. Some scenic tops nearby too. Very accessible to town center and near to neat restaurants too. Quiet facility and comfortable beds. Will be back if we come back to Squamish.

This hotel is not far from the Sea to Sky Gondola, just minutes from Squamish. Not too expensive compared to Whistler. Found the room spotless and cool, it was very hot outside. Staff very pleasant at the desk, and in the dining room where we had an excellent meal, with extra effort was made to serve gluten free bread. Also had breakfast, which proved to be very tasty also. First time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed here at least once a summer for four out of the last five years. The restaurant is good, the hotel staff is great, the hot tub is extremely small and the elevator is extremely slow. There are a number of restaurants nearby but driving would be recommended; the area is somewhat "industrial". Two years in a row there were reports of bears in the parking lot early in the morning, I just took a good look around if I had to park on the back ( I tried to park in the front)
