When traveling it was super difficult to find places that were open to having me and our cute little dog. The staff welcomed us even when we arrived late after an evening of driving and made all our members feel welcome.. as sometimes traveling with a dog - you are not alway sure of a welcome. Hotel was undergoing major rework at the time of my stay. on any given day 3 of 4 exit doors blocked. Needed to guess where to park to enter hotel. No water in pools, no warning on website or in reservation. No laundry service and staff was not prepared to assist. Looks like all were new or just very poorly trained.

This hotel is above average for having peasant, helpful staff. I would have rated the service better but the check out clerk did not know how to check me out properly because it was an airmiles booking. This did not affect the rest of my stay or the overall experience be cause the problem was sorted within 10 minutes and the clerk was very friendly.

This is basically a good hotel, in a good chain with high standards. We don't think it measures up to the standard of the Hilton brand, however, as it appears there are not enough chamber staff (our room was not made up at all), breakfast staff (only one person trying to do everything), and signs of deferred maintenance and "under-cleaning" everywhere. There is a deterioration from prior stays over the past few years.

We are usually quite pleased with Hampton Inns, they are are go to chain when traveling as you know what to expect. Our room had stains on the carpet, but otherwise was clean and quiet. We actually slept very well. We only had two sets of towels, so no extras for drying hair,or soaking up excess water. Typically, there are 3-4 sets. The provided towels were thick and soft. The first night there was a makeup remover wipe, but it was not replenished the 2nd day. Our biggest issue was the break... Read more

Did not meet the expectations we had as Hilton Honours members. Erratic and disorganized check in - breakfast was a gong show - one person to support two rooms full of people - running out of food - no fruit or yogurt available - we just gave up and had coffee and a muffin. The rooms were adequate - clean bathrooms, comfy beds but the air conditioner must be ancient because the noise was unbelievable but the room was so hot we had to keep it running. Some improvement is needed.

The pool with waterslide is a blast for kids and the young at heart, but some like pools to get some exercise. My wife an I stay in Hampton Inns or Hilton group hotels at least 10 times a year. My wife is a Hilton Honors guest and has been for 20 years. We have NEVER had a complaint until now. This hotel was the nastiest hotel we have ever stayed starting with the attitude with the front desk (surly, uninformative, too busy), the noise of the guests above us and in the hall, the pool chlorine smell in our room, and the large dog (greyhound size) nuzzling my crotch in the dining room. We were not welc... Read more

The basic and then some were met. Clean, quiet rooms, easy to find, friendly, helpful staff and breakfast was good. The hotel is located near several malls and restaurants and offers discount coupons to several area places to eat.

Not clean, bathroom in rough condition. Not much for features in room(small and old tv, and no bar fridge). This was in a room with a jacuzzi. Nicest part in the room was the tub and the rest looked like a cheap motel room and by no means was the room cheap.

I enjoy staying here every time I visit for work. The check in is fast, rooms are clean and equipped with coffee, microwave & fridge. Free parking, WiFi & breakfast. It's a great location with lots of shopping & restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here!

This area was very well located and the inn was well maintained. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I have food allergies and they were very helpful in helping finding appropriate spot to eat.

We choose this hotel because we are Hilton Honors members. The check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. My only drawback was the shower. It was a huge shower with glass doors. There was some mildew in the door frame.

Hotel is located in a great location with very friendly staff. The pool was great for the kids. Rooms were a good size for a family of 4. The breakfast catered to our entire family. The only downside was the mattresses were uncomfortable

We were looking for a place that would be easy to access and still be close to things we wanted to see. We enjoyed our stay the Hampton Inn in Fredericton, so we checked out the one in St. John. The building design looked similar and it was in an area away from the downtown jungle and handy to get to. It did not disappoint. Wifi is often poor in hotels so I was pleased to see they had a direct internet connection (I always carry my own cable). Usually if you need a password and the Wifi wor... Read more

A good GPS may be helpful in finding this place if you are not familiar with the area. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, a good place to stop for an overnighter when you have had enough driving for one day. The hotel is typical of Hampton Inns and nothing extra special to note.
