We stayed when coming to a show at the Exposition Center. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean. Staff is bilingual (except cafeteria staff) and very helpful. I was very impressed with the breakfast; nothing fancy but good, plentiful and varied selection of both hot and cold offerings. We were on the highway side and you could hear the high speed traffic (no traffic jam noise, but highway sound). I'm not a light sleeper so it didn't bother me, but if you were, you might ask for a room on t... Read more

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel on the Family day weekend in February. Everything felt new and the hotel staff were very courteous at check-in. The kids enjoyed some fun int he pool and we were able to walk next door for dinner.

A pretty decent hotel to stay in a good location. It is a little noisy at times. There is a lot to do and places to eat within a 15min walk. The complimentary breakfast is decent. The fitness room has the bare minimum but does carry a set of weights. Beware the bench! It bites! It is a green hotel and hypoallergenic . Overall a decent place to stay.

Room was average size and bed was comfortable. Nice for a night's stay. My only problem was that the drapes on the windows were not long enough to close over the window so the only covering was sheers. We were on the ground floor and as we had no black out curtains people could look in and the street lights and the lights from the hotel kept us awake all night. But the service was excellent and the rooms were clean.

I stayed one night, on the fourth floor - facing the highway. The rooms are great, the hotel is nice, but there are two major problems: 1) bring a WIFI booster for your computer. The working desks are awesome, but the wifi simply isn't strong enough to work at the desk and get good reception (except in the lobby, OR in the bathroom of the room). 2) Ask for a room that is NOT facing the highway. The issue here is: rooms that face the highway are far too noisy to get any good sleep. The highw... Read more

This hotel is a Holiday Inn Express but it feels like a very nice 4 stars hotel not a typical near highway -one night only - place. The room was super clean, brand new hotel, laminate floor. Nice bathroom. Really it was the best Holiday Inn Express I have been to. Very friendly staff. Nice indoor pool. The gym was small but with brand new essentials. My only complaint: ask for a room that is not facing the highway, there is a lot of truck drving in that area and it could be noisy. It didn't both... Read more

I can highly reccommend the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Saint Hyacinthe, Quebec. The location is superb. It is just off the Trans Canada, and perfect for people travelling ( we are travelling from Halifax to Toronto and chose this location to stop after the first day as it makes an easy second day drive). It is situated within a stip mall area that has 4 restaurants, numerous shops, fuel and a 24 hour Tim Hortons all within walking distance of the hotel. The Hotel appears to be virtua... Read more

Just off the highway, a perfect place to stopover. The rooms are large and very modern. Equipped with fridge, microwave, large sitting area. This is a "green" hotel, and every effort has been made to protect the environment .A very satisfying hot buffet breakfast is included. It is within walking distance of several eateries. Dogs are allowed for a surcharge. My only negative comment would be that the large shower needed a grab bar.

I loved this hotel. It's so conveniently located, with restaurants, shops and gas nearby. The staff was very nice and friendly other than when we had one huge issue - We had no cold water in either the bathroom sink or the shower when we got back late from a concert; we only had scalding hot water. We tried to let the water run at every setting for a long while (it was a hot concert!) before we just gave up. It would have been impossible to shower without burning ourselves. I called reception to... Read more

we had a 2 queen bed suite on the top floor. the suites have a separate living room area with it's own tv. the pool area is nice and large. they have the biggest breakfast area i've seen in a hotel. I was afraid we might get road noise but it was not bad. there was an issue with the fire alarm when we were there but we were given a discount on the room at checkout.

We stopped here for one night travelling through Quebec. Fantastic bilingual service, no hassle check in or out. Fairly new building has modern furnishings and very wide hallways. We were upgraded to a suite, and the room was quite a nice surprise. Two TV's, a large sectional couch with an attached chaise longer, large bathroom with a glass walled walk in shower (no tub), and the king bed was extremely comfortable. Will stay here again and highly recommend!

Stayed here on a whim when travelling through to the maritimes. It's just off the highway in a convientient location. Our room, 1 king sized bed, was fresh and modern. Laminate floor was a wonderful change to most hotels carpet floors. Check in was easy and they even brought us a toothbrush up when we realized we had a forgotten one. Nice pool although we didn't have a chance to use it. My only suggestion would be to have the pool open earlier for those hitting the road earlier on. Breakfas... Read more

The room was great nothing to complain about. The hardwood floors are a nice change from the normal hard carpet. The king suite is very spacious and comfortable. The gym could use a little more free weights but other than that an excellent stay.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. The interior finishings are spectacular - really loved the hardwood floors. We stopped here as we were travelling through Quebec and I think it was the best Holiday Inn experience we have had. Our one complaint was typical of all hotels of this group in that the air conditioning was noisy. Other than that, it was a beautiful and clean hotel. Even the landscaping was out of the ordinary.

Avoid checking in late, they will give away your room that you reserved and paid for in advance with 2 beds for a king size room. Had to call head office to get things resolved. Pros: new building, very clean, close to restaurant and gas stations Cons: horrible customer service especially at night,

Stopped here when driving back to Ontario from Prince Edward Island. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast. Hotel is right off the highway and close to restaurants and grocery stores so that we could grab anything we needed for the drive home. I will definitely make this stop again.

Stayed for one the night. The room I had was very noisy because of the nearby freeway. Sleep was disrupted. The room was super clean and modern. Staff was good. Proximity to the mall is good for dinner. Bathroom was spotless.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saint Hyacinthe bills itself as a "green" hotel. Although it could obviously be "greener" their efforts are certainly laudable. I love the hardwood floors and HEPA filters. My love for the environment was strained by the recycled toilet paper, hidden recycle bin and a shower which diverted more water through the bathtub spout than through the shower head. The breakfast was exceptional, with: omelets, bacon, sausages, pancakes and scrambled eggs. I loved the bedside n... Read more

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and washroom. All had updated boutique decor with tiles and wood flooring, no carpets. TV was a flat screen. Keurig coffee maker and small fridge too. The bed/mattress was VERY comfortable. The included breakfast was OK, nothing to write home about. Ample parking and walking distance to outlet stores and restaurants.

I am just finishing up another business trip in Saint Hyacinthe and during this trip I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I have been here many time, this is a nice clean hotel with comfortable rooms and good service. The rooms look like they may have been updated since I was last here as my bathroom didn't have a tub but rather a big shower where the tub use to be. I think the flooring in the rooms has changed as well as I seem to recall rug in the room not tile, I did find the new flo... Read more
