We stayed at the River Rock Casino Resort for a week, hotel is close to the airport and connected to the SkyTrain station (Bridgeport), very convenient location. The price is decent, the room was clean, people are nice. We will come back again!

I had a One-Bedroom Suite which was very spacious and I had a great view of the marina. The electrical outlets in the room were definitely a little questionable and had far too much 'give' when I was trying to charge my phone. I ordered in room service for dinner one night and the service was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Mature couple on a four-day anniversary break. Hotel staff was most accommodating and pleasant. Hotel is clean and well kept. Location is convenient with "own" Skyline station, close to the airport and easy travel into downtown or waterfront. There is some airport arrival noise and from the Skyline trains, earplugs are recommended. The a/c, as in most hotels, is noisy, but they will turn it off on request. Turning it back on can take some time. Food in the Buffet restaurant can be a little haph... Read more

Went for a dinner at the Buffet last sunday. Went 8 PM and there was a HUGE line. Ok. Went back at 8:30 and the rude hostess simply said: "We closed it earlier because there's a huge line inside" Well, if you can't handle and predict the amount of customers in a specific day, you should give up running a restaurant. Disappointing.

My family and I have an annual vacation here where we book four rooms and stay the whole weekend. This is the last year we will be doing so, the service and our whole check-in process was absolutely terrible. We waited around the lobby until 6pm because our rooms weren't ready (check-in starts between 3-4pm), they mixed up our reservation we made a month in advance so we were on different floors, and the cherry on top was the manager we spoke with was totally indifferent and dismissive. The River Rock Resort is a very large hotel, yet it is designed so that it still has a moderately middle size feel. We only stayed a couple of nights and the kids were thrilled with the pool - which has a good size slide - with bends and curves (little reminiscent of Great Wolf Lodge). The hot tub is also quite large compared to most hotels and was a great temperature and well maintained - not too much chlorine. We did not dine in the hotel so I cannot say anything about the food quality. The h... Read more

Beds are very comfortable and the resort is nice. We did not participate in the Casino. My daughter enjoyed the pool with the slide. One thing to know is that the "Food Court" is in the Casino so if you have children don't plan on that for eating unless you go in and get the food and bring it out. Very close to the airport to plan on hearing plans as they are on approach for landing very close to the top of the hotel. Room were well insulated so it did not disturb our sleep too much. There... We stayed in a suit and it overlooked the marina. The sunset was so beautiful sitting out by the fire pits. We had burgers and B.C wine and it was really reasonable and extremely delicious. But the best thing was after we went for a swim , we went to bed in the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in my life. We slept ten hours .We had to get a late check out because we slept like we have never slept. I will be back!! Relaxing resort .

I booked a Marina suite this time to see if there's any difference of service but to my dismay it didn't come up to par with my low expectations because of my recent experience with their property. Had tickets for the Diana Ross concert, so we decided to stay the night. We booked a BC resident rate room, which for CAN$239 including taxes was an excellent rate. The room was large and pleasant. As members of their reward programme we were given a complimentary appetiser at any of the restaurants. We did enjoy our stay. We are not gamblers so the chances of returning are rather limited as apart from the casino and the concert venue there is nothing else to do.

We ate at the Buffet and also outside on the patio under huge umbrellas that was just lovely. Took our chance in the casino but the casino won. The safe in the room did not work. We looked for a stop over prior to sailing out of Vancouver. River Rock was a good option and would have given it a 5 but for the small rooms and overall cost. Recently, I was fortunate enough to visit the Curve Bar at the River Rock Casino Resort. Allan Jaffray was our bartender/server. The service was absolutely exceptional! I visit Vancouver 10-12 times a year and have never received the level of service provided by Allan and his team members. Allan suggested a four course meal at the Curve Bar. This meal was one of the top three dining experiences that I have had in Vancouver. Allan also went above and beyond when pairing our wine selection w... Read more

Excellent start to finish. We over-nighted here on way to a hunting trip. From the Bellmen to the casino staff, food service and everywhere between were probably the kindest and most helpful I have ever experienced. It was just very noticeable and one can really tell customer service is a very important focus in their training. It wasn't strained either, but was genuine and natural. We stayed at this hotel during a layover between flights from the South Pacific to eastern Canada. We chose this hotel because the room prices were better than downtown Vancouver and the accommodations spacious and nicely appointed. The hotel is 3 or 4 stops by Skytrain from YVR. The staff is RUDE and the customer service is horrible!!! After a long day, and with an early flight the next morning, all I wanted was a quick bite to eat and a comfy bed. Room service got my order completely wrong and, instead of just fixing it, tried to convince me that they'd delivered what I ordered. Granted, I was tired, but not so tired that I couldn't remember my room service order! Before calling it a night, I called the front desk to pre-order a taxi for 5 a.m. I was assured it would t... Stayed one night and we were upgraded to a suite. Very clean, exceptionally comfortable bed, nice amenities. We had coffee and pastry at Java Jacks and Sunday brunch at the buffet. Pool and hot tub are in an attractive riverfront atrium. Self-park is free for hotel guests but valet is only $16 for 24hrs with in/out. All staff we dealt with were extremely pleasant and professional. Louis (I hope I remember correctly) at check-in is a standout...fantastic. Will stay again.

Shared bathroom, living room and two bedrooms with ok views if you don't mind looking at roofs more than the river. For $400 a night, you would think they would provide some complementary water instead of $4 a bottle. Toiletries provided are not anything considered luxury. At least they offer free parking.
