Front desk staff Benny was very helpful. Although the hotel is little bit dated, it is clean and in central location. Also include free parking, it is nonsense that other hotels charge a fee for parking, specially in Vancouver, BC.

The in room chair was worn on the arms and looked quite dirty. The AC died and the room and was like an oven, I had to move to another room. The ceiling in the lobby needs a major cleaning/painting yuk! Lots of scuffed doors and walls that require painting, ongoing maintance seems very lacking. Very, very greasy eggs from a carton cooked in front of guests in an electric skillet. The lady added 3/4 cup of oil. Stale bread only ok if toasted, again yuk, yuk, yuk! When we arrived we were very tired as we travelled 8 hours to begin our vacation. We booked this hotel as they had a free shuttle service to YVR on a awesome schedule. Check in was very easy, parking was free while staying as a guest in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and you can clearly see they enjoy their job. We stayed 2 nights before our flight and had booked a night on return from our 14 day Mexico vacation, with this I was expecting ( should have done my research) to be able to park o... Read more

The hotel was clean the staff was friendly but it wasn't an inconvenience to get ice or something to drink and we weren't that impressed with the free breakfast, there was very little selection end the pastries were very dry. It's a fine hotel to stay in if you need to overnight in Vancouver. The last shuttle from the airport was 11:15 which was not very convenient we literally missed it by 5 minutes even though we phoned and asked if they could wait for us, so we had to take a $20 cab ride.

My parents stayed here for a 4 days Vancouver trip. From their descriptions, I feel it is more like a motel, so maybe like 2.5 stars. My parents went with a tour and was given choice on this hotel or Westin (the 4 stars)+$60 per day. They chose this one and was given a floor under the first floor which the room has no window and smells horrible. They added $30/day to upgrade to 3rd floor which has a window. Problem is solved. The most impressive thing about this hotel is the service people. Late... Read more

We needed room for 3 people and because of the affordable rates decided on this Ramada hotel. Normally, we stay at the QI next door, but rates were way to high there! Upon arrival at around 4pm there was enough space in the underground parking and check-in was fast. As requested, both rooms (1 with 2 beds & a balcony, 1 with 1 bed) were on the same (3rd) floor. Although the rooms are on the small side (as is the bathroom), they were quite comfortable with airco-units, small fridge & coffee-maker... Read more

Its quite close to airport and is convienient to go everywhere, sky train is nearby so as a shopping centre, restaurants bars are all closeby, +fastfood too. Hotel itself is older type, but acceptable, breakfast is not bad considering its only a 2.5 star, I am happy with it. Free shuttle bus to airport, as well as pickup. Room are clean and comfort, most of the got fix window. And I ask for the room with balcony which they will change if no one booked.

During our weeklong stay we were treated to the most friendly and caring staff. The desk receptionist was a wonderful woman who tried very hard to accommodate all our (and everyone else's) needs in cheerful, efficient manner. The woman who was looking after the breakfast area not only was an absolute gem but a fantastic role model for how to provide service above and beyond what travelers might expect in a hotel breakfast situation.

Stayed 3 nights in June, the hotel is fully booked, only 1 staff at the front desk at the time but check in was fast and prompt. Room is spacious and clean, some wear and tear shown around the furniture and bathroom but it is acceptable. They use some very strong lemon scent of cleaning product I can clearly smell it when I enter the room and it lingered whole day. Bed is comfortable and shower is hot. The Ramada was not my first choice but had very few options as the area was very busy with conferences and other activities. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of an overhaul, but I think everyone involved in maintence and cleaning the hotel is all doing the best they can with what they have. Our room (412) was small but clean. My sister and I shared a room with two double beds. It had a very small bathroom, a desk and chair and one extra chair and a mini fridge and small coffee make... I stayed one night as I had an early departure at Vancouver Airport. I booked on line and was told it was on room only basis so was surprised to find a small buffet breakfast to include waffles. The hotel staff were friendly and delivered safely to airport. A good hotel while waiting to depart. The hotel is only a few blocks from a shopping complex. I admit I didn't go in as I had enough luggage.

Spent our last 2 nights here also, this time in a room with balcony facing the park at the back. Is older decor, but clean and comfortable. Lovely to have the park right behind with view of the trees and sound of the water from our room and balcony, Enjoyed having a stroll around the beautiful park after a busy day out, found it very relaxing. On a five day visit we found the Ramada Airport to bemore than adequate. A good location near many good restaurants and just several blocks from the Skytrain. The free breakfast was very nice. When we arrived, we were greeted with laundry hanging in front of open windows, but there was air conditioning. You need to check in before you can access the parking under the hotel. The front desk was all business, no smiles. We tried to eat breakfast, but it was not fresh and we ended up skipping both days we stayed. For the price you'll get a clean bed and shower that are very dated. It is no frills, and in the middle of a real china town. We were glad to move on to our next destination.

Wanted something near the Canada Line so we could get into the city (Vancouver) without our car, and also to be close to Tsawwassen for when we wanted to leave to catch the ferry. We got a room on the backside of the hotel facing the park. It was a clean room, the bed fairly comfortable, and it was quiet. All in all, it's a good value if you just need a place to sleep. The shuttle bus service from the airport was punctual and efficient . The breakfast was fine, served by a very helpful lady who was working hard to keep everything well stocked and clean. We had a room at the back and there was no road noise but the sound of other guests talking in the corridor was very disruptive. Overall it was a good choice for an over-nighter for when we'd just arrived from England but I think there are better hotels in the city for a longer stay.

The location of the hotel is very accessible to the mall, restaurants, and to the Richmond Olympic oval. The lady receptionist - Melissa is the best who is very good and accommodating. She knows everything in terms of our reservation. I would say she is the asset of this hotel. The breakfast is not good. Worst hotel experience I have ever had. As soon as we checked in I knew something was wrong. This place did not match the good reviews that were given. The place was dirty and shabby. Black grout in tub area, stains on the carpet, chair upholstery, and lamp shades, frayed furniture, cobwebs....I took pictures! We called to see about changing our room for something updated and clean and the desk clerk said "sorry they are all that bad." Really!!!! We found another hotel and checked out.

Not what I was expecting from the Ramada brand name. The hotel is in need of some attention. It offers basic but functional accommodation and is very convenient for the airport. It's a very pleasant stay at Richmond. I got the balcony view in Minoru park, excellent view! It is literally on the edge of the park so guests can take short walks into the park whenever they like. The hotel is close to airport and has a free shuttle, and it's also close to several shopping malls and Skytrain station which takes guests down to Vancouver downtown easily. Reasonably price for its quality.
