You have probably stayed in hotels that have offered free breakfast and an exercise room. Breakfast winds up being old cereal, white bread and coffee in a corner of the lobby and the exercise room is 10 x 10 with a garage sale quality exercise bike and somebody's broken Bowflex. The Radisson makes you forget all of that. The gym is so good, they should charge membership fees. It is probably better than a gym you have actually paid membership fees to use. Treadmills, bikes, machines, free we... Read more

This hotel was very OVERPRICED. The rates were jumped up for the long weekend. We had a king room with a pull-out sofa bed. The sofa bed should have been discarded many years ago. It was terrible! The rooms are so small that once the sofa bed is extended you cannot get to the washroom without moving tables. The game room had nothing in it. There was no mention that the pool is only 3 feet deep. The spa was closed. The restaurant is very overpriced. The elevators are terrible. We would... Read more

We were travelling with 2 adults and 1 child. We booked through Expedia which gave us 1 king bed. We called down to the front desk and they switched us to a room with 2 queen beds within minutes! Great customer service. The rooms are nice. Free WiFi, comfy beds, fridge, coffee maker, and a safe. Tvs are a little small and out dated. One of the big negatives for me was that there are no power outlets in the bathroom. They are outside in a seperate area. We enjoyed our stay.

Was bumped up to an executive room. The bed was dreamy, the room was spacious and immaculate. Double-headed shower, air-conditioned, beautifully decorated. Has a workout room, a hot tub and pool. The free breakfast could have been a bit fresher. The price was definitely worth it, even for a last-minute reservation. I would pick this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Super clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. One of the nicest pool/hot tub/sauna areas of any hotel I've stayed in. Access to a full service gym and a tasty, free breakfast.

Nice rooms, staff very professional and accommodating. Food very good overall, sometimes my steak could have been better (cooked to order). Nice to have the fitness club downstairs available free to hotel guests. Great complimentary breakfast with lots of selection...open early too. Would stay here again if I came back to this area.

Seemed to be OK - people smoking dope on my floor. Reported this to the front desk and no one seemed very concerned. Small things (safe not working, room service menu missing) and big things (not honoring Mgt. compensation to upgrade room) that still seem to be lacking

Our stay included a hot buffet breakfast which was very good. Overall it exceeded our expectations and would definitely go back!

We were in town for a 3 day convention and stayed here. The room was very clean and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was the typical fair but it was hot and tasty. It didn't taste like cardboard. A young man named Wilson was the host for breakfast and he did everything to make our morning enjoyable. We will certainly stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

It is along story, but we had a very long day on the road to get to our hotel in Red Deer. It is very well located and it truly was a perfect stop for us after a tough day. The room was fantastic and the staff were so nice when we arrived. Just went to the lounge for a couple of drinks and had a great meal there as well. Thanks Radisson and all of your staff for a great stay and rest at your hotel. Definitely the place to stay in Red Deer.

Positives: good location (near the intersection of 2 hwys), overall cleanliness, friendliness of staff, complimentary breakfast. Negatives: we had interior-facing room which is like looking into a prison courtyard (you have to experience it to understand), our small bar fridge was crazy-noisy (they replaced it and the second was no better), the air vent in the room blew right on us as we slept, and the elevators had a mind of their own.

My family stayed here for the night for the long weekend. Very accessible to restaurants and food chains. 20 minutes from sylvan lake. There was a construction on our way to the lake, so there was a bit of a traffic. The breakfast was great but no bacon (which is our favorite). On the day we were there, they had scrambled eggs, fried potato and sausages. Didn't have much of choices with fruits, seemed that the fruit was from the can. There were banana, apples and oranges.there is a sauna on ... Read more

We stayed here for one night and hadn't pre booked so didn't know what to expect. The front desk staff were very accommodating and gave us an upgrade to an executive room. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and we had a great nights sleep. We were also fortunate to arrive on an 'appreciation' night and enjoyed complimentary nibbles and drinks with the manager. Complimentary breakfast the next morning was one of the best we have had while travelling through Canada.

Came to this hotel for a family wedding at Heritage Ranch in Red Deer. They allowed us to check in at noon to prepare for the wedding. It was a hot and humid day so we had time to relax and change into our wedding attire instead of wearing it on our journey to Red Deer. Staff were great. Room was very nice and comfortable. Facilities were very good and on Sunday, a hot breakfast (included in the price) was served. Excellent stay.

We stayed two successive weekends, and enjoyed the decorating and furnishings in both rooms (and the high quality bathrooms). In one room the ventilation fan was constantly loud, but the front desk staff arranged a quick change to a better room. This address was a hotel with a different name at one time, and much of that old information is still on the internet.

We were in town for a wedding and the Bride and Groom had reserved rooms at this hotel. The lobby was nicer than we expected based on the exterior of the building. We were able to check in early and the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. When we got to the room it was nice and clean and we were impressed with the decor of both the room and the bathroom. That extra long counter should be in all hotel bathrooms! The bed was comfortable which added to a great sleep.

The front desk staff was great when we checked in and the room was perfect. We have stayed at this hotel a few times now. It is located in a somewhat industrial area of Red Deer-- however once inside the decor is very modern and I feel somewhat upscale. The Radisson features a spa, full fitness club, pool and restaurant on site. It has always been very quiet, clean and the rooms appear to have been recently renovated. All modern decor with wifi and comfortable beds. I would totally recommend this hotel for any family or friends staying in Red Deer.

Not so great - ice machines ( nightmare city!) hot items at breakfast rubbery, dry etc. MAJOR ISSUES with the air circulation- cold and very very dry!

I've been through the Radisson several times for business seminars. Most of the time we go to their restaurant for our lunch. At times the food is good but other times we are left highly disappointed. Right now the balance seems to be 3 wrong to 1 right. This is all despite us ordering our lunch in the morning to allow them the time to prep everything they might need. One time we were made to wait almost our entire lunch hour to get our food, leaving us 10 minutes to eat and get back into the ... Read more

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious prime rib and a very nice room. It was an overall great experience! Our check in experience with Jackie was also lovely. She was very professional, friendly and overall fun to talk to. Definitely would come back should I pass by Red Deer again and in need of a place to call home for a few nights. Pillows were a little bit inconsistent with quality and size, but it doesn't take away much from the experience.

My daughter's soccer team stayed here this weekend. It was great. Great rate, staff are excellent, helpful, accommodating, and seem genuinely happy to be here. It shows in their attitudes. Rooms were very quiet, pool was great, free breakfast buffet was kept well stocked and lots of variety. There is guest laundry to wash uniforms between games. Close to Starbucks, grocery stores. Only suggestion would be to allow small dogs - they are not dog friendly. Thanks for a great weekend.
