Le Saint-Pierre is in a prime location just beside the Museum of Civilization and a short walk from the Chateau Frontenac and a variety of restaurants and stores. My room featured a huge window, tall ceilings, free wifi, and very luxurious bedding. While I stayed I was impressed by the outstanding customer service and delicious large breakfast that is included (I had salmon eggs benedict).

Cozy, quaint, peaceful, well appointed with modern upgrades/amenities. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed, wood floors, exposed brick walls = perfect backdrop. Lovely art hung throughout from local artist. Can open windows. Yum breakfasts served quickly with fresh ingredients. Excellent staff - Tania was incredible both prior to our visit and on site. Quiet reading/waiting room on main floor - flavored water, coffee, tea provided. It was always a treat to return to our gem of a hotel. It more than excee... Read more

This unique hotel is two adjoining commercial buildings with strategic openings between. We stayed in the older part (wood paneled walls, working fireplace) which was partnered w/one of the more contemporary new hotels. Great mix of people - business, tourists - and great night life (nice restaurant). And not a boomer-manager to be seen - this was all being run by young and younger people. Be prepared for mild hike up to Old Town, this is in Old City.

I usually enjoy this hotel, but the room and breakfast were subpar this time. It is a great location, but no longer a luxury property. Bathroom lacked tub although I had paid for one and the breakfast was poorly prepared and thrown together. Desk staff and valet were great as usual but the hotel is clearly in decline.

I liked very much the hotel. The location was excellent for me and the people working in the hotel are very kind and very courteous / regardful. Everybody we talked in the hotel really take care of us, supporting as much as possible. For sure, if I will come back to Quebec City, this hotel will be my first option.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. The location was perfect - very convenient to the city and things we wanted to see. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was exceptional - we had some unique needs during our staff and they were very helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. It was an exceptional hotel.

The hotel was nicely situated to allow easy walking access to the charming local shops and the river cruise. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. We didn't speak French, and yet, the staff made us feel right at home since they spoke fluent English. We had the breakfast included in the room price and it was very gourmet (I liked the salmon eggs Benedict with potatoes, fruit, toast, juice, and coffee). This is a lovely boutique hotel, attached to a larger hotel next door. The rooms are large, airy, bright and clean. The furnishings and linen are exquisite. The location is great, close to the downtown, old town, and waterfront. While the staff are friendly and helpful, I wish the hotel had a more inclusive hiring policy.

My husband and I stayed five nights here for our anniversary. We loved that this hotel was located right in the heart of Lower Town where we could easily walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and spoke both French and English. Our room was attractive, and our bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room came with a free made-to-order breakfast, and the breakfasts were very good. We were very pleased with our stay at Le Saint-Pierre Auberge Distinctive!

There were a few little issues with the room, ie a leaky air conditioner which got promptly fixed and the sheets didn't stay on the bed. But the staff and breakfast were so wonderful that they made up for any minor inconveniences, I really loved it.

For my first of hopefully many trips to Quebec City, the Le Saint-Pierre Auberge Distintive was perfect. The city was perfect. The whole experience can be summed up as enchanted. Specifically, my room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the wonderful bath tub. The breakfasts were delicious. The front desk folks were friendly and quite helpful. I could not have asked for a better first trip to Quebec City. I can't wait to come back.

This is a very nice hotel with a friendly staff in the lower part of Quebec city. It is right across from the Museum of civilization, which is a very interesting place to spend an afternoon. It does require getting up to the upper city for most of the sights, which is the only drawback to its location.

Le Saint-Pierre has a warm and welcoming atmosphere in a historic building. The location is ideal because it allows for immediate access, on foot, to all the interesting parts of Old Quebec. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and suggested a fabulous little restaurant for us to try. Breakfast served on the premises was very good. The only negative was a rather noisy air conditioner in the room but otherwise the place was ideal.

Fun and easy to walk or climb the stairs to the upper town where all the noisy tour buses and crowds are. Return to lower town and the quiet of my room was always lovely! Small hotel. Very well located in lower portion of old city. Helpful and nice personnel. Very clean. But room was small, very limited space for cloths, relatively basic amenities and facilities. But main weakness was the very limited seating for breakfast, which is included. Too many guests for the size of the breakfast room. Had to wait both days to be seated. Servers hurried and service weak.

Baby related info: The building is stroller friendly minus the two steps it takes you to get out the back door.
