The decor and lighting give the hallways and even the rooms a rather dark appearance but other than that everything was satisfactory. The rooms seem to have been renovated in recent years and as a result the bathrooms had a very trendy look -- and there were lots of towels! :) The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The place was generally quiet but when there were people talking or children running in the hallway you could certainly hear the noise from inside the room. It is e... Read more

I spent the weekend at this hotel and was not impressed. It was an uncomfortable bed, very loud. It's the first and last time I will stay here. The only advantage is the Houston's restaurant that is attached to it. But people end up drinking to much and wake you up in the middle of the night.

This hotel is very trendy and modern, it isn't located in the best place (is not in downtown) is located a little bit far from old Quebec but you can take a bus and will take you around 15 minutes to get downtown, or you can take a taxi. despite all that stuff of the location, it's an amazing hotel and really comfortable, if for you is more important to be comfortable than be close to the touristic area, this is the hotel for you !

This hotel is located in St. Foy near the courts and various restaurants as well as shopping areas. It is on a bus route if one wants to visit Old Quebec City and is also near the University. The rooms are very comfortable, ample parking is available. The staff are well trained and friendly.

Lovely, clean, modern hotel. 2 items of concern: 1. The shower stall is very narrow and if you are a large person, you would not be able to turn around. 2. We took the elevator to our floor but had to go down 4 or 5 steps to get to half of the rooms on the floor. This poses a problem as you cannot get the luggage cart to your room. For anyone with a concern or disability, please ensure your room is on the elevator level. We were staying for almost a week and had a fair amount of baggage to hike... Read more

Hotel Quartier has easy assess to the highway, lots of parking, and is there's a selection of restaurants within walking distance. If you're looking for fastfood, across the street is McDonalds and Subway, and next to the hotel is St. Hubert. Just a short walk is a few shopping malls. We had a deluxe room. What stood out as pleasant was the Kureg coffee maker in the room, a nice working desk, and the comfortable bed. I found the free WiFi to be a bit slow. This is a good hotel and the price was... This hotel has a nice looking exterior and lobby but the actual place is a disappointment. The hallways and rooms were dank and humid and they smelled bad. The room was small and not the cleanest. The beds were uncomfortable and the carpeted floors were absolutely filthy. We were travelling with children who wanted to use the indoor pool. The pool water was cloudy and greenish. It looked like a cesspool in dire need of a complete washing and water change. Finally, the hotel staff was not friendl... Read more

This Hotel was listed as 4 star with the Quebec tourisim board I would say its a 3 star at best.It is a Boutique style Hotel. The Hotel staff was not very friendly especially since I was asking questions in english. There was not a whole lot close to the hotel we had to drive 20 minutes to downtown traffic hour at 4 o'clock was an hour to get back to the hotel from down town.

If you're looking for a place in Quebec City that offers good services, great rooms, and fair prices, this is it. Located about 15 minutes from the heart of the old City, you'll find plenty of restaurant options and easy access to shopping and transportation.

Nice hotel the only downsides are that the air conditioner was really loud and there are a lot of stairs and changes of levels in the hallways which would make in difficult for access for the disabled.

Very nice and clean hotel. Check in and out went super quickly. Staff is very nice. The hotel restaurant is not own by the hotel and eating there is as an every other restaurant. The prices are not cheaper to the hotel's guests and the buffet is only available for groups and it's with an extra fee. There is a 10% off for the guests of the hotel if you ask on reception

Stayed last week. Was so disappointed. Don't take for the room on the 1st floor, we had to change it due to a horrible smell. Rooms have no refrigerators or safe boxes. AC unit is very loud, could not sleep at night. Soundproofing is really bad, you can hear even a little noise coming from above or a hallway. Hallways have steps so be prepared to carry your luggage.

I booked this hotel for the price and availability. It seems like it was recently renovated but some of the parts are left old. Bathrooms have no fan, the rooms had some weird smell (rooms because my family booked a room next to us). Toilet seat was old and not up to modern industrial standards. Water tap was old and hot and cold water were started by one turned clockwise the other one counter clockwise. It takes a while to adjust it properly. Shower was dirty and needed decalcification. We stayed here for one night because we wanted a hotel close to public transport so we could leave the car and take the bus. Number 800 or 801 by the second traffic lights along from the hotel takes you to the stop for Old Quebec for $3.50 each way. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, well furnished and maintained. Extremely comfortable beds. We weren't bothered by the AC unit noise others mention, just glad to have it. We were allowed to leave our car before we actually checked in and for a fe... Read more

Stayed 2 nights, price first night average, second was awful (should have at least included a continental breakfast) you do get a 10% discount card to Houston's next door. We found it expensive didn't use it. The room was only average nothing special, air-conditioner so loud you had to turn it off. Parking access was terrible to the hotel, outside down back of the hotel. Dark and gloomy hallways. Good points, room clean, comfortable beds, Jasmine checked us in she was very professional, fri... We stayed here with the family of my sister roselyn and my daughter anne who stays in toronto for 2 nights last july .The hotel is just beside the road and fronting Mc donalds. The rooms was fine except that we stayed in a room wherein you can hear the footsteps of those who where occupying the upper floor and prepare yourself upon checking in because you yourself will be the bell boy.It has free wifi hot and cold shower and lots of parking area.

This hotel is shown on some websites as being downtown but is closer to the airport. Nobody should build an hotel where you can't take your luggage to your room without carrying it up and down stairs. This is a feature of the level we were on. Sound insulation is needed. People walking above is heard at all hours of the day and night. Toilet flushing is a feature sound at all hours. Reversing buses outside added to the rest. The restaurant food was good.

In 2016, this hotel cannot provide a working wifi. Justified saying the hotel is full on a Tuesday night. Then I asked for conditioner for my daughter, they answered me the wall gel dispenser is 2 in 1. Receptionist and managers were cold and 0 helpful.

I recently stayed here for a couples getaway. We basically just rummaged around for a hotel online before we even got to Quebec City because it was the construction holidays. Easy to say : this hotel does not prioritize their guest's experience. I would highly doubt this hotel is/was a 4-star hotel. We booked through booking.com and they reserved our room, no problem. Took our request for an upper-story room which was greatly appreciated after driving for 5 hours. We got there, all set, took pa... Read more

Enough space for 3 adults 2 kids. Was a bit tight. But hard to find accommodation for 5 in peak season at this price. We liked the location. Right across from Mc Donald and main shopping malls in Quebec City. Downtown is 20 to 30 min away straight down the road. Parking is convenient and free. Not exceptional but accomodating for lastminute.com reservations.

So we paid $300 because it was a long weekend for a "superior" room that the hotel claimed had better quality sheets and amenities. NOT. This is an old hotel that they've tried to out a new face on. The lobby was nice, reminded me of a boutique hotel lobby but the employees at the desk were very perfunctory and not welcoming at all. No hello, smile or any conversation just all business and instructions. We were in room 420, which was small with popcorn plaster ceilings and walls. The beds wer... Read more

I loved the hotel stay, the room was comfortable and quiet. It was a little confusing finding our room, we were on the first floor but we had to go down a floor to get to our room. It was a little out of the way from all the attractions so it was a little bit of a drive to get to the main attractions.

Paper thin walls (I can hear the guy peeing next door) Dirty dingy carpets and furniture superior room is far from superior. The "desk" to work on is a coffee table. This is not even a three star. I don't know how they got 4!

Completely overpriced! Stayed in the hotel on a business travel for 3 nights. Positive points: â?¢ The staff at the lobby were friendly â?¢ Thatâ??s it! Negative points: â?¢ The rooms are completely out-dated, old furniture. â?¢ White stains on the carpet, white stains in the couch. Disgusting!! â?¢ When the air-conditioning starts you have the impression that room will lift-off for mars â?¢ The desk in the room is a wobbly coffee table on wheels â?¢ Try ordering something in restaurant, if y... Once over the bridge, and into Quebec city, we turned right, down Boulevard Laurier, which seems like a major artery of the city. A minute later, we pulled into Hotel Quartier. Modern decor, and open spaces the hotel is very attractive. The front desk staff were very friendly, professional and extremely helpful, going out of their way to assist us. The rates were very reasonable. Our king suite was well appointed, quiet, and had all the comforts of home. Off of the front lobby is their restauran... Read more
