Went to this hotel for a 5 night stay and quite frankly, there's not a lot of negative things to say about this place. First, the location is just perfect. It's near the old city where you can visit and enjoy a lot of good restaurants and it's near Grande-Allée street where you have the best places to party in Quebec. You don't even need a car, everything is near. I had a room at floor 13 (yes there's a 13th floor) with a nice view and my bed was just so comfortable! I also had a desk fo... Read more

Our room was small, but nice. Room 1511 has a great view of the harbour, the river, the old city. The food, both breakfast and evening snacks in the top floor lounge were excellent, although not so much for my vegan husband. The restaurant had nothing vegan, and only risotto that was vegetarian. The parking garage was a total screw up. If you can park anywhere else, then do it. The elevator was broken from the garage to the hotel. We found that out when we arrived at the elevator, therefore we... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel a few times when travelling to Quebec City. Great location with lots to see and do within walking distance. On my last stay I was greeted with a friendly and helpful front desk staffer. I had a great sleep on a comfortable clean bed. My room was on the 20th floor with a fantastic view. The pool is a swim out from inside to a heated outdoor - great experience. After a fun swim, I returned to my room and started preparing the in-room coffee. There were two paper cups, 2... Read more

Sometimes Hilton can be a bit older but this was renovated and rooms were spacious and clean We had a room on the 19th fl with a view of the city. Stayed for 5 nights in June. Location is excellent and view from Exec Lounge is a must. Only downside is the hilltop location. You'll certainly get fit walking back up from Vieux Quebec every night. Our room was badged as an Exec one, but seemed totally standard with anything you'd find in an average new 3* or 4* these days. My guess is they just vary the number of rooms sold as Exec with the access key to the Lounge. If your employer is paying, fine. If it's your own dime, there's plenty of... Read more

The hotel is within walking distance to the old downtown area, which was great to walk down and grab dinner. We stayed here as a family (2 adults, 2 kids, and 1 dog) in August 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lady who checked us in was lovely and even showed me where the fireworks would be that night on a map. We were traveling with our medium sized dog and had no issues checking in with him (although, the $50 "extra cleaning" fee was a bit much - however, I understand t... Read more

Stayed here for a corporate convention and absolutely loved it. We were lucky to get upgraded to a room with a premium view up on the 17th floor. Spectacular! We actually didn't close the curtains at all. Staff was courteous, helpful. Meals were great. Location is perfect - you're in the heart of Old Québec so you can enjoy all of it within walking distance.

Highly would recommend the Quebec Hilton for value, location and quality. Staff could not be more friendly to us and our 2 year old granddaughter. Breakfast was hot and better than average as I travel extensively every year

The location is wonderful as the Old city is on walking distance, there are many restaurants nearby and its next to the convention center. The convention center can also be reached via a tunnel in case of rain or snow. The hotel itself has great views of Quebec. I had an parliament view. There is construction at parliament so during the day you may hear some construction noise. Check-in went smooth as was the checkout. Room service will come at 20-30 minutes after ordering. Room was clean and cl... Read more

We picked this location due its close proximity of the Old City. Our room overlooked the wall and within 3 mins of leaving the hotel we were within the city walls. Easy distance to bars, historical sites, and restaurants.

As being a gold member and booking the room in advance I get a bit held up and arrive at 2 am in hotel to find to my attention that they have gave my room to someone else. The staff gave me a lousy excuse that they are like an airline company, first come first serve which shocked me deep inside. So at 2 am and have to wake up early at 7 am to go to customer leaves a bad taste in my mouth how badly run this hotel is. So they advised me that they will check me next door to Delta and will pay for i... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for almost 6 days as my husband had a conference at the same hotel. While the concierge staff were extremely helpful, the room service staff were not appropriate. While staying there I had my favorite flip flop stolen from the room we stayed in. It was a gift from my mother and it was my only flip flip that I take with me every where. I reported to the front desk, to which they said of we did not find it in the lost and found. So I confronted the cleaning lady who she pre... Read more

Three months before we arrived, the staff (Kélie Lamarre-Bolduc) worked out an additional day of reservations when they were sold out. Upon check in, Sylvie at reception learned that it was our wedding anniversary, our first visit to Quebec City and that I was a Hilton Honors Diamond member and upgraded our room to one with a beautiful view. We continued to be impressed with the staff as we met the Executive Club team of Katy & Jade who provided us with extremely useful information about wh... Read more

great location, view, rooms, pool, gym, executive lounge - only downside this time was it was a 5-10 minute wait for the elevator each time. ridiculous. even a 50 person line one night to get to the elevator. never have seen this. otherwise, a lovely stay.

Book a hotel a day in advance. It was pricy but that isn't a big deal. We arrive late from Montreal around midnight. Go inside to check in to find out that the 2 rooms that me and my colleague booked have been given to someone else and now they are sold out. Excuse was that it's just like airlines. First time I hear that from a hotel. They put us in an old Hotel next door and said they will pay for the room. I just got my bill under the door. Not only does it show that my card is charged but ro... Read more

During this stay, my wife and I used the hotel for the JCI Congress and after it, stayed 3 extra days to enjoy the lovely city of Quebec and the level of service and attention didnt'changed because the event was over, what shows that they don't serve better because of big groups, but for each costumer per se. Great service and experience !!!

The Front desk was fantastic at Check in . As Hilton gold members we were given a room with a beautiful view which was very much appreciated and most off all was the bag of toiletries to fill in for us until our luggage arrived the next afternoon. The warm welcome made what had become a long night much nicer. The executive lounge is lovely and Louis at the Concierge/Bell desk was an angel delivering our bags to our room once they arrived at the Hotel. WE also booked a two day tour through ... Read more

Thinking that as an HHonors member the breakfast was included , disappointed about not having it , pricey hotel , excellent location , concierge and housekeeping manager were awesome ... front desk missing to provide some info about a deposit on hold per day of stay , and no signals where to park your car by yourself letting you no option but paying the valet parking per day even if you don't use your car during your stay , noisy hallway and you can hear all the noise on the street as well

Room had an amazing view of Old Quebec and the river. Was very noisy from traffic etc even though we were on the 20th floor. Front desk staff was rude and aloof on check in. Room was mediocre in element and design. Fitness centre change rooms were cold, smelly and filthy. Restaurants in hotel were very pricey so we chose to eat out. Not at all what I was expecting from a Hilton.

I took a group of high school students for three days to Quebec. Great experience at the hotel. Excellent value for the money! Very convenient location, great pool, great breakfast, easy parking of the small bus. No concerns at all.

We checked into our room and found it very smelly. We opened the window and when, after ten minutes or so, found no difference we called the front desk. They were very accommodating and put us in another room which had no odour. However, the furniture needed some work. The desk chair had uncomfortable arms that were tattered and nylon or polyester threads from the back of the seat picked us through our clothing. We could not sit in it without placing a towel over it. The outdoor heated pool ... Read more

My wife and I were staying in this hotel for three nights right before the (US) Thanksgiving time. In my humble opinion, it doesn't quite live up to the TripAdvisor "luxury" label - so, it's fair to say that I was taken aback just a little... Everything looks and feels pretty much bare bones - including, but not limited to, the room and hallway decor (not that I particularly care for these things, but it just wasn't something I would normally expect from a "luxury" hotel). By far the biggest le... Read more
