Great front desk staff- very welcoming and helpful. The kids loved the splash pad. The pool was a bit busy. Room met basic requirements and clean. Movies for kids but only in French- but popcorn was a nice touch. Close to the highway to get to skiing (25 ish min) or the other direction into the city (10 ish minutes). Tim Hortons next door and St Hubert /Mikes / Subway steps away. Staff at the attached restaurant not friendly and wouldn't choose the breakfast included option if we could do it a... Read more

When we first arrived it was busy and the front desk worker was pleasant. As we walked through the hotel it looked as if it had never been cleaned properly and was aging. I was surprised as the photos on the website looked new and clean.  When we arrived at our room I was immediately disappointed. The room was old and grungy. To say it was falsely advertised on your website is an understatement. When I contacted front desk about a room change, they were rude and said they couldn't offer us anyt... Read more

We have stayed many times at this hotel as we have family in Beauport but there is not enough rooms there. The hotel is clean and the staff is accommodating. The bed is hard! We were lucky to be in a renovated section. The room was nice but the bet could be better. We had a "junior suite", which was nice and spacious but could be set up better. The TV was not good for either the bed not the couch. We were there at Christmas and found that the restaurant opened too late! I wake up early and by 7... Read more

Hotel is very clean, pool is great either for kids or adult. Decor of the pool is great. You can have a balcony in your room that lead of the pool area. The staff is very nice. I like the aspect that I was in the pool and see the snow falling outside.

Comfortable, value price, well appointed Hotel with indoor heated pool. Quiet and warm surroundings in the area between downtown Quebec city and St Anne Beauprie, Plenty of parking and Eateries in a one block area, Helps to have a GPS since you are in a central location to all tourist sites.

I had a great experience while visiting Quebec for the first time. This is a wonderful hotel to stay in, the staff is excellent, the rooms are swell, and the pool area is warm and inviting. Parking is great, because you can, for the most part, be up close to the building, and easy in and out. You can access Subway restaurant from the hotel for a quick sandwich, and the pool is warm, the spa is hot but not overly hot, and its a pleasant atmosphere to meet and have a drink, or play games, or wh... I stayed at Hotel Ambassadeur with a tour and we had to leave early in the morning to continue our trip. In the morning, I dropped my earring in the sink and panicked as it was a pretty expensive one (and I had a personal attachment to that particular earring too). A helpful hotel staff tried several ways to retrieve it but apparently we had to wait for the hotel engineer to open the sink pipe. Since I had to leave soon I left my contact details to the hotel staff. Later that day, the hotel emai... Read more

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was clean and nice. The pool and splash pad were great for our kids. It was a little disappointing that kids under the age of 18!!! are not allowed in the hot tub, not even with parental supervision. But couples were allowed to have their drinks while using the hot tub even though this was clearly stated to be prohibited. The "pool guard" (young girl) clearly wasn't capable to stand her ground and address the drinking, but made sure my kids didn't ent... Read more

Although this hotel is located on a suburb boulevard it is clean and well kept. Can be a good option for a short stay for a good price / quality ratio. A bit far from the old city. Good fast food options close.

Despite other reviews My mum brothers and I stayed here for two nights whilst travelling along the St Lawrence from Montreal. Cheap but clean bit dated , pool area clean though pool a cool and hot tub very hot. Nice friendly staff, Dora's next door for breakfast. All in all what you'd expect for the price and I would recommend for a night or two
