The entire hotel is beyond filthy, and the hotel management and staff just make up excuses and make no attempt to fix problems. Molded muffins and curdled cream in the morning. Dirt and dust unimaginable. No clean smell in any room. Cleaning staff doesn't make up your room. If I could rate this hotel zero I would. The health unit needs to go in here. Swimming pool area full of ants and when informing the front desk they said ya we know but they are hard to control. This is February. After... Read more

Visited for a weekend and very disappointed. Ive been to many quality inns and i know some may have different policies but this location was very upsetting. I called beforehand to make sure i could have a crib as i know its not guarenteed b4 arrival. It was confirmed by front desk yet not there when i arrived all of a sudden not reserved for me and if they had one it was 25$ a night. Unheard of for all the times ive stayed at a quality inn and gotten a crib. In the end cancelled my second night... Read more

We paid for the most expensive suite and our disappointment was indescribable. The only suite with spa bath is located directly on the top of swimming pool and it is impossible to sleep in there! Not only that in the room was all night about 30C even though that the AC/heater was off BUT all the room was shaking! The sound which was coming from (greasy) ventilator was unbearable. We had to pack all our stuff and change the room at 1 am. The receptionist was helpful and he adjusted price but we n... Read more

There is a very good reason this place is one of the WORST rated hotels in Ottawa... Because it is filthy, filthy, filthy. The customer service is nonexistent, the hotel smells and they all seem to know it but feel it is not necessary to do something about it. STAY AWAY from this hotel unless you want to be just one of the many people who have given it terrible online ratings. This place is an offence to hard-working citizens who pay to stay here.

We stayed at this hotel numerous times and liked the location and the rooms were decent. At our last stay, nothing was out of the ordinary until we got home a few days later and my husband discovered an additional charge of over $200 on his credit card from the hotel. He inquired about it and he was told we had broken a mirror in the room. :/ I did recall seeing a small crack on the mirror in front of the desk, but thought nothing of it, they don't tell you to report anything broken upon your... When I lived in the Orleans/Cumberland area, the closest hotel was on Innes Road near the Queensway. That was less than 10 years ago. Today there are two hotels almost next door to each other and I had the experience of staying at both of them one long weekend. Although its young age suggests it is clean and new, the truth is anything but. My room had a bathroom whose fittings appeared out of the 1970;s. The shower curtain was mouldy, as was the grout in the tile. When I was a child, my father w... Read more

The stay here is great wonderful staff, good breakfast, and an excercise room with a pool. Afordable, if you have a tight budget. 15 minutes drive to parliment downtown. Very convienient if you would need a place close to downtown.

our room smells like it's been "cleaned" with a dirty rag, we won't be staying again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Hair in the bed and an inch of dust on all the fixtures, overall the cleanliness is obviously not a priority.

A nice enough hotel. Just a bit out of date with décor and it wouldn't hurt to get rid of the old musty carpets. On the plus side we didn't get bed bugs !!! Would not recommend going if you can avoid it.

We are staying at this hotel because of my son's soccer tournament and being directed here by the organizers. First of all, this hotel is a mediocre one, not even the cheapest though. We entered our room and I could feel the floor vibrating and was told it was probably the AC which is not, the beds are very uncomfortable so we didn't have a good night sleep. My son had a shower and told us it was leaking everywhere which was. I had a shower and redirected the shower head towards the wall but the... Read more

For a hotel that is only 4 years old, it looks like it is 50 years old. The shower head broke the first morning we were there, had to use recycling bucket to shower, after it had spewed water all over the bathroom, when my wife and son had their showers. Bed was terrible, noise from the hotel air conditioning unit just below our window, caused the floor to vibrate all night and the beds were the most uncomfortable have slept on in a hotel. We stayed here for our son's rep soccer tourney in Ott... Read more

We arrived on a rainy afternoon after an 8 hour trip which included a flat tire to find our reserved room had not been cleaned. After being told we would have to wait in the lobby were eventually given another room which was actually larger than the first. Beds were comfortable, shower was like standing under a watering can and A/C was very loud. Breakfast pretty typical for hotel but breakfast staff were lovely. The whole place seemed not well cared for-puddles in the elevator from drippy swimm... Read more
