Kevin, Kristine, Piatong (sp?) made our last trip to Ottawa wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful to us. Our family is in a crisis and they gave us a better rate -- it was also the 5th time we had stayed there since Feb '16. The suites are so roomy and very clean. I love having the kitchen and laundry! I was rushed packing and brought some of my laundry to do while in Ottawa! My only complaint is that the rooms are showing a bit of wear and tear, but with them being so clean, it is ... Read more

We stay here every time we are in Ottawa, and LOVE it. The hotel is right at the edge of Byward Market, so you are close to so much within walking distance. There is a cute little restaurant in the lobby, licensed. The staff are amazing and will do whatever they can to make your stay great. This is not a 5-star in the sense that it is ultra-luxurious. The suites are simple, but nice, in decor and amenities, but you get twice the space as in any other hotel. With a full kitchen :) In our two-bedr... Read more

This is a great spot to make home base when staying in Ottawa. It's central location is ideal - you're within walking distance to most major landmarks and just a block from the Byward Market. The suites are really apartments, so everything you need is there. The staff are friendly and helpful. The The decor is dated, but the rooms are clean. For people who prefer serviced apartments, this is the right choice when visiting and exploring the nation's capital.

Hotel suite was good size, too expensive for what it is. Very dated decor/stains on rug . Pool/ gym/ outside garden area closed due to renovations so price for room should have accommodated for these loses but didn't . Stayed 2 nights was $500 that's expensive for 2 days during the week. Ottawa has a lot of construction going on a lot of buildings look in very poor condition. War museum and parliament and Byward market were cool to see that's it , Would not come back not worth the 8 hr drive.

The room itself was nice and spacious, clean ... Read more

Excellent location, within 5 min walk to Byward Market, 10-15 mins to Parliament Hill. We were in a suite and it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and full kitchen and washer and dryer. if you are going to use the washer, bring detergent or buy from Dollarama one block away.

We just stayed for 4 nights and could not have been more happy with this hotel. We are a family of 4 and we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a pullout sofa, full kitchen and laundry. It was very clean, spacious and central to all in Ottawa. 5 min walk to Byward Market and Rideau Centre, 10 min walk to Parliament Buildings. The staff were so friendly and helpful, housekeeping was extremely fast with anything that we needed (extra blankets, a razor, etc!). The pool was a little dated but clea... Read more

This is a delayed review for this great hotel. I can't say enough about the customer service. They go above and beyond to help in any way possible. The suites are huge and you can walk anywhere - especially the Byward Market area. It's an especially good choice if you are doing business at Ottawa U.

The hotel is very close to Parliament and the Byward market. Rooms are clean, quite and comfortable, the service was excellent. There is a Presse Cafe shop downstairs provides a good place to have a cup of coffee and eat breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend Les Suite.

We have stayed here before a couple years ago for a week"s stay, like this time. Walking location is terrific: one block to Rideau Mall (big indoor downtown mall with a new Nordstrom; one block to Byward Markets and all the restaurants and nightlife; 2 blocks to a 24/7 Metro (grocery store); LCBO next to Metro. We had a corner suite this time, very nice and bright. Suites are relatively large, one bedroom apartment really: full kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, washer/dryer and bedr... Read more

This was a bit of an unexpected trip as we were able to score somewhat last minute tickets to see the Tragically Hip in Ottawa, so we booked some hotels and packed up the car with the two of us and our large Goldendoodle, and hit the road. We arrived in Ottawa late afternoon/early evening and navigated our way through the Ottawa street construction (later finding out they are gearing up for light rail service - nice!) I pulled up to the hotel and went in to check in, knowing that they had park... Read more

We booked our room for 5 nights in a one bedroom suite. It is good for a family because it has a washer and dryer. The room also has a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with complete appliances. The living room has its TV and so as the bedroom. Big closet and lot more closets. There is a restaurant in the lobby for simple food. It is very close to Byward Market and other restaurants and Rideau Mall...walking distance within 3minutes to 5 minutes. Walking distance to Ottawa University.

When we checked in there were three folks working the front desk all working to check folks in. I was the second person in line and it took almost 10 minutes until it was my turn to check in. The hotel overall is a little outdated and older looking. The suite was very spacious and I appreciated the washer/dryer in the room. The room was a little dusty and the comforter on the bed is a deep red and made me a little uncomfortable with whether or not it was clean. (The material it's made out of ... Read more

A very nice hotel whose name accurately describes the accommodation - was it originally built as a condo? 4 of us (family) originally had 2 suites booked but one was still being cleaned on our arrival, so we all piled into the one that was ready. WOW! A fully-equipped 2-bedroom apartment capable of sleeping 6, so we cancelled the 2nd! A very comfortable one night stay was had by all although the swimming pool was a bit cold - made up for by the hot tub!! Location was brilliant for the Market, Ri... Read more

I know people love this place - which is why we booked it - but I couldn't wait to get out of here. We arrived on a Saturday around 5-ish, which turns out to be rush-hour for the elevators. A line of luggage trolleys (filled mainly with coolers and cases of beer, which tells you something about the clientele) stretched from the elevators to the front door. The wait times were a factor our entire stay. Our first room, a three bedroom on the third floor, was disgusting: stinky, stale booze smell, ... Read more

My husband and I recently stayed at Les Suites in Ottawa. The hotel was amazing and by far the best we've ever stayed in. They made us feel so welcome, and they had no issue with our dog. Our daycare options fell through so at times he was in the room by himself and the staff had no issue with that. We also brought him out in the courtyard for walks or just to get some fresh air and again he was more than welcome. When they say they are a pet friendly place, they really mean it. Stayed there September 2016. Very practical accommodation, clean and well kept. Friendly helpful staff; Kevin Bernier Duty Manager went above and beyond. I had a couple of interactions with Kevin in the course of our stay - he was very helpful. After we left, we realized that my Mom forgot her cane. I knew who to call to get it sorted out - Kevin. He found it right away, and made arrangements for housekeeping to call me the next day (Rebecca) and the cane is being couriered to us. Thanks Le... Read more

I was in Ottawa for a week at a convention and thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Despite the convention I still had a normal workload so having the separation of living and workspace was helpful in maintaining a sense of balance. There was a king bed, a full kitchen and a washer dryer, which I actually had to use. I used the kitchen every day for at least one of lunch or dinner. The desk staff were always helpful and the housekeeping staff friendly. Although the area seems a bit ske... Read more

Enjoyed the spacious room but it did seem a bit worn - could use some sprucing up. Although we saw no signs of any creepy crawlies there was a smell of what smelled like pesticide or a strong cleaner. The room was quiet. The only issue is parking. My key card never worked to enter or exit the garage. Even though they say you can park a pick up truck on the street level the spaces are too tight. Moving the bike racks out of the way may help. All of the other levels had very low ceilings and hangi... Read more

Far exceeded my expectations. Great value. Large, clean, well maintained, 2 bedrooms and full bathrooms, full kitchen, washer and dryer and even a balcony. 3 blocks from Parliament Hill with many pedestrian malls with shopping and outside dinning. Would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and have always had a positive experience. The front desk staff tend to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and sometimes you get upgraded to a fairly large room. My last stay included a room with a separate office, 2 bathrooms, and full laundry. The rooms are getting a bit dated and could use some updating. The location is wonderful being a block away from the Rideau Centre and a couple blocks from the Byward Market area.
