Good location for access to train station. Not so good location if wishing to be central to downtown. Staff were lovely, rooms clean. Laundry suffice for general needs. Breakfast was okay at best. Personally found it contained too many carbohydrates - bagels, muffins, bread, buns, waffles. Limited choice of cereal. Of you like carbs though then there is plenty of choice. However, i guess it served a need in that if provided breakfast and it would by all means suit others more. Would recomme... Read more

Party of 3, 1 amputee in a wheelchair. We requested an "accessible" room. Even got a call from the frontdesk, to confirm our needs. However: There are no rooms with handrails in bathroom, except in the tub. They had the courtesy of leaving a bathchair, but our amputee could not use it for lack of handrails. However, she was able to use the public washroom, near thelobby and close to our room. There are handrails there. Complimentary breakfast was the best I have had in my many travels, wether... Very clean and comfortable rooms. Convenient location. Staff went above and beyond to help us with our vehicle issues. Healthier breakfast options such as non sweet cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea available at all times. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay with our group. We thought they had full kitchen, but just a minimum of a sink, fridge, and microwave was ok for the stay. It was located close enough to the place we wanted to go.

The hotel is outside of the downtown area. Attached to a conference center. Across the parking lot from a baseball stadium, walking distance of the train station and less then 2 km from St Laurent Mall. The Number 9 bus runs within a short walk of the hotel which will get you to downtown or Hurdman station which will get you anywhere if you want to take public transportation The Rideu river and its associated park system is a reasonable walk away. The service was beyond excellent, the front desk staff are willing to bend over backwards for you. If you need something, just ask, they most likely can accommodate your need. The 24 hr complimentary coffee/tea station was fantastic -- the coffee was delicious! Their underground parking was free. The room was lovely, bed was great, bathroom was large, loved the complimentary Neutrogena products and the morning newspaper delivery. Also the pool and hot tub were great. The staff was just disappointing at refusing to cancel the nights I didn't want to keep because of a change in my schedule. I advised while checking-in and I thought there will be somebody who could understand that it happens. Particularly as a Hhonors member it was disappointing.

Stayed here for business for one night. The check in and out was efficient, room was clean but the wall was really thin and for some reason the people in the upstairs floor was very noisy, fortunately it was a very tiring day for me so didn't have much trouble falling asleep despite the noise. Parking was complimentary, so was the breakfast, though the choices was limited. They were nice enough to allow a late check out till 1pm so that was kind. They only allow three devices for the Internet. ... Read more

A pleasant stay in Ottawa to visit family. Check in was quick, and (early) but Natalia got us booked in early so we could spend more time visiting our family, and included a parking pass for them so they could come to the hotel and visit us. Guest services called our room shortly after check in to see if everything was ok, a pleasant surprise. Room was nice size, large bathroom with ironing board, tons of cupboard/storage space, large sink, microwave, small fridge, adequate wardrobe closet and ... Read more

Motorcycling in 450+ miles from northern Ontario, it was getting late. Calling the local number (+1 (613) 741-2300) Arlene answered and reserved one of the last rooms. She didn't even bother getting my credit card as I recall. 20 minutes later I rolled in. So I thought the hotel was fine. Had an outback across the parking lot. Had one issue. My room faced the interstate. Was incredibly loud with trucks. I couldn't sleep. I noticed in the morning they had earplugs on the nightstand. Clearly they know they have an issue. Other than that. Fine.

Having stayed regularly with Hamptons for both business and pleasure this stay went more or less as expected. The hotel seemed well run by polite and helpful staff, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and simple. The one exception seemed to be the condition of the hotel. Little things such as the elevator call buttons not working, very dated-looking decor and carpeting throughout the building. The very worn and dated looking room furniture and aging bathroom made the room feel uncomfortab... Read more

We selected this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. We found this to be a subpar Hampton Inn. The bathroom was large but dated and the u-shaped bathtub made it difficult to use. The air conditioning system was quiet but did not cool well as the room always felt clammy. The one time we used the whirlpool in the pool area it was cold. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I asked for a room on the top floor and had booked a King room with sofa. Well, the room we received was massive. We had a 16 foot long hallway. To the left of this was the bathroom and it was large as well. The main sitting area was approximately 16 x 35 with 10 foot ceilings. Great value for what you pay. All amenities are excellent. Better eggs for breakfast would be better. Right off the highway and close to everything, including parliament hill and byward market. My kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and of course having internet. The staff is helpful and pleasant. Every time I go to Ottawa, this is where I'm staying. This was the second time this year and there will be a third. If you have kids stay on the forth floor, the pool is on this floor.

All the donwtown hotels were either full or pricey, since there was a blues festival downtown. The rooms were large, clean and quiet. There was a conference center next door that you could access without going outside. Since we were there on a weekend, it was easy to get downtown and find parking. If you don't mind being a slight distance from Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, and the Byward Market, this hotel is a very good choice.
