We actually recently had our wedding at Brookstreet. We ended up staying there 2 nights in a king suite overlooking the golf club. The service at this hotel is great. everyone is professional and friendly. we were amazed by the service during our wedding. We had an open bar wedding and everyone was telling us what great bartenders we had. The food was outstanding, we recieved a lot of compliments on that too. We had salmon, chicken, arugala salad, squash soup and tiramisu for desert. Everyone wa... Read more

This 4 star hotel is appropriately rated. It is luxuriously appointed and the rooms are very comfortable. The bathroom was very well laid out with all the articles one expects from a 4 star hotel. The bed was comfortable and the view was splendid. Having stayed at many such hotels, it does not fail to meet expectations. That said, I am always surprised at how many things are NOT included in the high price of a room at these hotels. Parking is an extra $12.95 a day, a bottle of water in the... Read more

Great hotel located in the center of Ottawa 'silicon valley.' The rooms are comfortable and we'll equipped for business. The restaurant is well above most hotel restaurants; I highly recommend it even if you are not staying there. There is a spa and a fabulous looking golf course which I unfortunately did not have time to try.

If you're not a hockey player or a size zero hockey wife, don't bother trying to get decent service here. The spa is expensive and caters to this very specific crowd. Only one restaurant open on a Saturday night. And no a la carte breakfast service. We had a suite where the bedroom was ok but could feel the springs on the pullout couch in the living room.

This hotel is actually quite the find in western Ottawa. While it is somewhat out of the way and you will need a car to get around, the setting is peaceful and serene. The Marsh Golf Course is right next door and easily aceesible. The hotel has a rather modern flare with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, well laid out and rather comfortable. If you need a place to stay and you don't want the hustle and bustle of the downtown core, this is an excellent alternative. There ... Read more

Service by the employees were great. I felt very welcome for they enthusiastically responded to every question I had. Especially during our check-in even though it took a little bit long to find and prepare the room despite having it reserved beforehand. But the long wait was compensated because they gave me a gift card worth $10, and so I highly appreciated the action made by the employee on-duty in front desk. However, when we got into our room(junior suite), it wasn't that prepared. We didn't... Read more

The hotel is good, to room was very nice and had everything I needed. I felt the breakfast was a bit too expensive. Also, the food offered for breakfast buffet is the same every day and I would have liked to see some salads or vegetables for breakfast. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. I traveled on business, so it was a few minutes walk from the office. Going to the city center wasn't too bad considering how far away it is from the center of the city. There is a bus stop right out... Read more

Just recently stayed for 3 nights in a Junior Suite, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. One of the best I've experienced for quite some time. We were there for a Family wedding and there were 22 people staying there. Very accomodating in the restaraunt for dinner. Eduardo was one of the best waiters we have had

Landed at this hotel based on our customer's recommendation. ---The Pros---: The prices were just great (through Expedia). The hotel property is simply phenomenal - rooms are great - clean rooms, heavenly beds, 2 bottles of water and coffee/tea provided. The breakfast is decent and the gym is awesome with a pool also included. ---The Cons---: It was a little unbelievable that they had no way of looking up an Expedia reservation. Both me and a colleague had trouble at check-in getting our res... Read more

My family and I enjoyed our stay in your hotel. The rooms that we had were so clean and fresh. The staff are so dedicated and very cordial. Room service was fast even it was a very busy weekend for them. The kids enjoyed the saltwater pool. The beds are very comfortable. Our dining experience at Perspective Restaurant was superb, too. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how welcoming and very service-oriented the staff (Sandy) is to us. He is wonderful and we felt important. Ex... Read more

Really enjoyed the peaceful quiet of this hotel. It was really clean everywhere. Everything was in terrific condition. My five year old and ten month old LOVED the pool area that had a fantastic place or them to play. This was a great energy burner after sitting so long in the car. My son wanted to stay longer because of the pool...I would stay here again. It's far from Ottawa (downtown) but we were just passing through.

The brookstreet is a very nice independent hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations with the atmosphere, meeting service, food and beverage and the rooms were very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to host another meeting there or to stay for a personal trip. The only small downside is that it is a bit far from downtown.

The Brookstreet Hotel has a Destination Marketing Fee which is typical of cities these days however they are meant to WARN YOU up front while you book the hotel which never happened over the phone. They also refuse to take it off which most places will do and blame it on the Hotel Association and Tourism Ottawa. After calling both of these organizations it was clear that the management at Brookstreet was lying about it being either of these organization's responsibilities... the VP and the Assis... Read more

We really like this boutique hotel for its superb customer service from reservation to front desk. We had a King Room with a Golf View Balcony. The room is big and well equipped with a mini fridge that you can shuffle the intended content and put your own stuff. The shower is awesome and towels are plentiful. The room is clean, contemporary decorated and catching sunrise was an added (unexpected) bonus. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

I am sitting in my incredibly comfortable bed as we speak. Great hotel with awesome amenities. I have no idea how I didn't read about the arcade and the cutsie movie theatre for kids ??? my daughter loved it. Sooooooo Clean and welcoming. Drawbacks are the location, 20 min drive to downtown and the room/garage key demagnetise really easily. It happened to both my keys more than once and we were here over night. Also they allow dogs which I didn't know about. A turn off for me. You could never t... Read more

Loved the facility, although getting to the pools is a little bit convoluted. The beds are very comfortable, so the whole family had a great rest each night. I was surprised at the parking restrictions and how full it was underground each night. Not a lot of staff on reception, but very helpful and friendly.

What a great hotel. If you get a balcony with a golfcourse view you would forget you were in Kanata. Feels like a resort with the outdoor salt pool and beautiful gardens. Room was amazing (king bed balcony overlooking the golf course). Big and spacious with a good size bathroom and spot for working if need be (desk chair table lamp etc.) Lobby and elevators are really nice, spa is nice, indoor pool and hottub are awesome. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights/3 days in July. Great hotel with indoor and outdoor pools. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean. It's refreshing to see how big the bathroom area was - plenty of room to move and put your toiletries. Would definitely recommend this hotel whether its for a business trip or family getaway.

Choose Brookstreet based on great reviews in Tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. The room was spotless and we lucked out with a great view of the Marshes golf course and the Ottawa valley from the 14th floor. The Hotel has all the Amenities you could look for , Indoor and Outdoor pools and hot tubs. Onsite Restaurant, Bar, Fitness centre , SPA, car rental. My wife & I came to Ottawa to play some golf and decided to stay in the Kanata area just to be away from the downtown area. The Brookstr... Read more

Staff and room were excellent. Options bar outdoor area was a nice place to relax and wind down on Friday night with drinks and friends. Food was also good. Relaxed a little poolside. Part of the walk way outdoors was under renovations. There were 2 weddings while we were there but that didn't interfere with our stay

We stayed at the Brookstreet for a weekend in February, to attend a hockey game and visit family. It was great! The staff and service are impeccable, parking was included with our stay so we had nothing to worry about beyond checking in and enjoying out stay. The Room: The room was spacious, extremely clean and well maintained. There are wine glasses and a bottle opener in the room which we appreciated as in most hotels you need to ask for these. We had a view of the Golf Course covered in sn... Read more
