We actually recently had our wedding at Brookstreet. We ended up staying there 2 nights in a king suite overlooking the golf club. The service at this hotel is great. everyone is professional and friendly. we were amazed by the service during our wedding. We had an open bar wedding and everyone was telling us what great bartenders we had. The food was outstanding, we recieved a lot of compliments on that too. We had salmon, chicken, arugala salad, squash soup and tiramisu for desert. Everyone wa... Read more

This 4 star hotel is appropriately rated. It is luxuriously appointed and the rooms are very comfortable. The bathroom was very well laid out with all the articles one expects from a 4 star hotel. The bed was comfortable and the view was splendid. Having stayed at many such hotels, it does not fail to meet expectations. That said, I am always surprised at how many things are NOT included in the high price of a room at these hotels. Parking is an extra $12.95 a day, a bottle of water in the... Read more

Great hotel located in the center of Ottawa 'silicon valley.' The rooms are comfortable and we'll equipped for business. The restaurant is well above most hotel restaurants; I highly recommend it even if you are not staying there. There is a spa and a fabulous looking golf course which I unfortunately did not have time to try.

If you're not a hockey player or a size zero hockey wife, don't bother trying to get decent service here. The spa is expensive and caters to this very specific crowd. Only one restaurant open on a Saturday night. And no a la carte breakfast service. We had a suite where the bedroom was ok but could feel the springs on the pullout couch in the living room.

This hotel is actually quite the find in western Ottawa. While it is somewhat out of the way and you will need a car to get around, the setting is peaceful and serene. The Marsh Golf Course is right next door and easily aceesible. The hotel has a rather modern flare with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, well laid out and rather comfortable. If you need a place to stay and you don't want the hustle and bustle of the downtown core, this is an excellent alternative. There ... Read more

Service by the employees were great. I felt very welcome for they enthusiastically responded to every question I had. Especially during our check-in even though it took a little bit long to find and prepare the room despite having it reserved beforehand. But the long wait was compensated because they gave me a gift card worth $10, and so I highly appreciated the action made by the employee on-duty in front desk. The hotel is good, to room was very nice and had everything I needed. I felt the breakfast was a bit too expensive. Also, the food offered for breakfast buffet is the same every day and I would have liked to see some salads or vegetables for breakfast. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. I traveled on business, so it was a few minutes walk from the office. Going to the city center wasn't too bad considering how far away it is from the center of the city. My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our 20th wedding anniversary. We booked the B Together package which included an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast the next morning. This package offers exceptional value as the accommodation, the food, the amenities and the ambiance are top notch! The staff were so courteous and attentive and were very kind to acknowledge our anniversary with a lovely little surprise in our room. We could stay downtown but for a real couples getaway please go ou... Read more

We have stayed at the Brookstreet Hotel many times and have never been disappointed. While the rooms are not large, the furnishings are pleasant and very functional. The staff is friendly and most accommodating - on our recent stay we had a small maintenance issue that occurred at midnight and was fixed in 5 minutes. Room service dinner was excellent, and the restaurants are very pleasant. We were travelling with family to attend a wedding, and most had not stayed at the Brookstreet bef... Read more

Excellent facilities and amazing accommodations. Just a bit out of the way from Ottawa if that is your destination. They think of everything. Food a little pricey but other excellent restaurants not far away. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants great accommodations and facilities.

Very clean, excellent location, nice amenities, wonderfully comfortable beds! Easy to find, easy parking (would be nice if it was free though) I definitely recommend this hotel and we will be coming back!

I recently stayed here for business, purely based on the location, and I was really impressed! It's clean, classy, and my room was fantastic. The room has a great desk space for working, and it's clearly thought out for people here on business. Highly recommended if you're on a business trip.

We stayed here for a weekend for a wedding held at this fine hotel and cannot say enough about the accommodations, food and staff. Everything is a cut above the average. When we needed something for our room it was delivered almost immediately. The facilities are well appointed and the grounds are lovely including the golf course. It is outside of Ottawa so a vehicle is required .

From check in to check out this was by far one of the most enjoyable hotel stays we have had in a long time. Perspectives restaurant is amazing, the room clean and hotel staff extremely helpful, room service good too. We came for my husband's birthday and senators game, great location and ease of access to shopping, Arena and more! We will be back!

The room was spacious with a large and very comfortable bed, proper working desk and even had a great coffee machine. Breakfast has everything you want and a the bar is nice as well. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were understaffed so the service was not the best.

I stayed at the facility for a conference. This is a busy hotel that has some very good conference facilities. 2 observations. This hotel seems to cater to the hockey tournament set. Be prepared for busy elevators and some waits. Because it is so busy, the reception for the check- in and out is busy also. The hotel should consider structuring the check in line rather than leaving it to the "strongest survive".

We did the weekend getaway for couples. It was fine. The room was very nice and well appointed. The Muskoka chairs on the balcony are a nice touch. The bed was heavenly. I was hoping for more from Perspectives Restaurant. I'm not sure what the vision is. The dining room layout is superb, but why the birch? The lighting should be dimmed for dinner and please, lose the Muzak (too loud and cheesy). The table d'hôte menu was hit and miss. The wine selection was excellent. The morning brunch was... What a great girls night away. Did some shopping. Then right to the hot tub. Manicures, pedicures, and massages. A glass of wine or two. A great dinner in the hotel restaurant. Back to the hot tub and salt water pool. Beds were very comfortable. Sleep well. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are doing some construction but didn't affect us at all. Heading back next year.
