We chose this hotel for it's beach location and the close proximity to shopping and dining. The location did not disappoint - however the condition of the hotel and property did. The lobby is plain but welcoming with friendly staff at the front desk. Our room, however did not justify the rate - although at one time it was probably nice. Our two bedroom suite (one with no window - not sure how this can be called a bedroom) was located beachside, but right next to the lobby where we could hear pe... Read more

There is a sign in your room as you arrive that mentions the following: 'Hospitality Promise - Making your stay a complete success is our goal. Just let our Manager on Duty or front desk staff know if any part of your stay isn't satisfactory...' Well, I definitely did let them know, a couple of times. Staying here for 3 nights while on business in the Okanagan was not the best decision. I've stayed here in the past but this was the worst experience. The last night (Thursday) was in fact the wo... The room was very nice and clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular. The terrace is in bad need of repair. The staff were friendly. Great location. The food in the upstairs restaurant was tasteless, reheated and overpriced. I would expect if you are going to charge $34 for a steak dinner, it better be a really good steak. My husband ordered a steak medium and he got rare with no flavor to it at all. Half of the steak was over cooked while the other half was raw.

Waking to the view of the calm, shimmering lake, then watching the evening lights on the water from the balcony made this hotel seem more like a high-end retreat than the budget price suggested. Direct access to the beach, a good-sized pool and hot tub, free parking and wifi, comfortable beds and thoughtful staff made it a pleasure to stay. Bathroom was small with sink in bedroom. Fridge and coffeemaker but no in-room safe. All rooms have balconies with views, but the ones on the non-street side... Read more

I stayed here for 2 nights in May 2016, the last time I stayed here was @ October 2003. I think that unfortunately the same carpets and wallpaper are still here. This hotel is in need of some serious updating , the location and size of rooms is great but the condition of the rooms is not, the door handle to the patio door was flopping around and loose, the furniture in the 2 bedroom suite is very dated as are the carpets in the halls and public areas. The location was great-easy walking around town and the lake. The room was nice, our view was lovely. The walls were a little thin and we could hear people in the hall getting ice most of the night. The lobby was clean and the staff was knowledgeable.

We stayed in one of the lake view rooms. The room was very nice and the hotel was average. They have a beach and BBQ's for guests to use. There are also lots of lounge chairs. We brought our 26 foot boat because they have a marina to dock at. They boat launch is one of the worst I have ever seen and the dock system is not much better. We launched there but, took the boat out at the public launch area. The lake is very nice, the hotel is average at best.

Holiday Inn's need to check their properties ! Check into this property that had a 4 rating, room allocation was was to be a war we view but ended up with a partial view, cement wall on the balcony and the property was dirty and not maintained through out. I immediately cancelled and was fortunate enough to be able to check into the Watermark Beach Resort. An outstanding property. The Holiday Inn chain should be embarrassed!

After canceling our stay at Spirit Ridge due to NO customer service, we landed at the Holiday Inn where their customer service was beyond excellent. They responded quickly and friendly to our inquiry of no hot water which was fixed. Seemed like an older facility with wear in the hallway but our room was very nice and clean. Would not recommend the restaurant though. It was just okay food but the waiter was excellent.

For a little anniversary getaway, my husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Osoyoos. Located on a peninsula almost every room has a great view however if you want a quiet full lake view make sure you book "lakeside" otherwise you'll get a room with a view but also the street (which is a main thoroughfare through town) and power lines. You're definitely better off to BOOK THROUGH THE HOTEL WEBSITE as when you book through a 3rd party such as Trivago, Hotels.com, etc the specials often times are ... Read more

This hotel appears to be from the 70's but is clean with a great view of the lake. The lake is on both sides of the hotel with the street in front and beach on back. The bathroom is a bit of a struggle in that the door hits the bath tub so difficult to access. The sink is outside the bathroom. The room itself is large and adequately furnished with a balcony. We recently stayed at this hotel for an overnight rest with our family, mid-road trip. The room was clean, but nothing spectacular. We found the lack of a sitting area perplexing; with a large open space where a chair or two could be placed, there was nothing but an open area. The view was fantastic, as was the beach access for the kids. Overall, it was good but with so many options in Osoyoos we may or may not stay again for the cost of the room.

During my recent trip to the Okanagan, I stopped into Osoyoos as I wanted a night in the desert, while still being in Canada. There are only 4 floors on the hotel so even the "top" floor isn't too high, still you get a nice view of the lake. There is a BBQ, which I guess might be open to guests, but it was never explained to me, nor did I ask about it. Might be something to look into if you're travelling w/ a family.
