My husband and I stayed at this location in February and it was a nice place. It was quiet, fairly clean, and had everything all in one place. We used the gym, sauna, and pool and enjoyed having those on site, as well I went to the spa and we ate at the Pantry Restaurant on site. Our issues with the place were, they only gave a thick sheet for the bed and then a duvet with 2 sheets in the closet and everyday we would put the duvet on the bed, and every day they would take it off again. This is my go-to hotel when I am frequently in Vancouver. The rooms are all great, service great, location great. The price varies a lot and I stay here normally if the base price is under $180. If it is more, I'll sometimes look for another accommodation. But this is always my first choice. Plus they take dogs no problem. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed here during spring break. Having previously lived in North Vancouver, we knew where this was located and found it a convenient for both traveling around Deep Cove, North Vancouver, West Van and Vancouver. Best to ask for a room on the north side to be away from the highway noise. Staff were quite friendly and everything was kept nice and clean. Overall, a good Holiday Inn!

The location is convenient as it is right off the highway as you come over the bridge into North Van. The mattresses were nice and firm, so we got a good nights sleep whilst there. The shower is in the bath, with a shower curtain (something I personally don't like if I have a choice). There is a coffee machine in the room. Both our room and our family members room however were not cleaned properly during our 3 night stay - which is disappointing. The breakfast was not included. However, there ... Read more

We recently stayed here with our hockey team. The staff was fantastic to work with while setting up the room block and ensuring all our parents reserved under the room. They even were able to place our rooms close together. Sadly, the same could not be said about the staff working the desk and the restaurant at the hotel. Very curt and sometimes rude. We often got the impression they were annoyed that a team was here (silly since there were several teams staying that weekend). The hotel h... Read more

We arrived early in the day from the ship, but because we are HI rewards memembers, the very nice man at the desk found us a room. It was Victoria Day weekend, so the hotel was booked solid. We stayed here September 2015 with our hockey team. I enjoyed staying here and never got around to reviewing it. It is a really nice hotel in a pretty setting. It is close to all of the North Vancouver attractions and was convenient for us to explore the rest of Vancouver as well. The rooms were nice and so were any staff we encountered. If we were to return to Vancouver, I would definitely stay here again.

I liked my stay here. Nice rooms, very clean. The location was pretty good as well, close to trails. There also was a grocery store, liquor store, and bar near by. My one complaint would be that there wasn't any coffee in the lobby! And the room coffee was terrible. Overall it was a good stay.

This hotel would work for you if you are travelling through Vancouver on your way to Whistler or to the north of Vancouver Island. It is right on the freeway, so it is easy on and off. It is not an easy place to get to without a car. A very nice and secure hotel. Our double queen was a little cramped, but clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant, separate lounge and a large pub with an outdoor patio. We were a week into a loop through Canada and ended up in North Vancouver without a reservation. These folks were very helpful and set us up just right! It was a very relaxing evening. The Pub attached was great and the night was quite restful. Easy access to Hwy1. We'll stay thee again!

We stayed for one night for our anniversary to get away from our three kids and to just have a night away. We chose this location because of it's proximity to the Grouse Grind hiking trail. The King room was spacious.. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The hotel is nice and had three restaurants/pubs right below it to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay at Holiday Inns whenever we can and haven't been disappointed, but the north Vancouver location was the best yet. Great staff, an onsite and tasty restaurant, and good location for touring north and west of the bay

I stayed here 5 nights at the end of Sept/early Oct of 2016. Check-in and check-out were efficient. The elevators were quiet and fast. The room I was in on the 4th floor it self was comfortable and clean. I did find it somewhat difficult to get the room heat/air conditioning to a comfortable balance. The room did have an opening window which helped to get the room comfortable. Truth be told the best part of the facility was Seymour's Pub. The hotel and the room were fine but the pub... Read more

We stay here a lot. It's got big rooms, thick walls, helpful staff. The Pantry is great for breakfasts. Seymours Pub is good pub food. The hotel is next to ramps for both directions of the highway. The prices are usually not too bad. This is the place we stay in Vancouver.

Although things didn't start out well, the hotel staff came through with flying colors. They uprgraded my room, moved my stuff while I was at work, and fixed a broken TV. It's a good looking hotel property in a very convenient location. Very pretty entry, covered in ivy. Quiet rooms. The staff is the best. The hotel restaurant has a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner food. There is a Pub right next door, a convenience store across the street and walking distance from a big groce... Read more

Enjoyed our stay in North Vancouver at the Holiday Inn & Suites. Most of our families were able to enjoy early check in and the team was conveniently located close to each other. The hotel was clean and includes an onsite restaurant and Pub which simplified our weekend. Thank you Holiday Inn North Vancouver

This Holiday Inn is a beautiful property, on spacious, well maintained grounds, with lots of secure free parking. The building has nice architectural details, and the rooms are nicely furnished and maintained. The beds are always well made with crisp white sheets. The staff is welcoming and professional. The two restaurants offer variety and very good food at reasonable prices. We come here frequently, and are always happy with the experience.

Had my brother, sister-in-law and cousin visiting from the UK - we had a great time - everything was excellent and we would certainly stay again. Front desk staff were very friendly - rooms were clean and had adequate facilities. We ate at the restaurant fro dinner and breakfast - food was good and staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble

I travel to Vancouver often but also spend time in Burnaby. The location of this hotel allows be good access to downtown but because it is right off the #1 highway it's easy to head to places outside Vancouver. The downside to this location is the traffic over the iron workers bridge and you have to drive to reach restaurants and attractions. The onsite pub is a good place for beers and dinner.

A nice holiday inn. Service and facilities are good. Would have liked nicer towels. Fitness room is useful. Didn't make it to the restaurant or the pub. From the outside observer I'd say restaurant was a 3 out of 5.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and enjoyed it again. The staff are very attentive and polite and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. My only problems were a hurricane like blast coming out of the air conditioner that was solved by putting a pillow on the edge of the bed to deflect the stream, and the fact there was no easy access to the patio from the pool and no patio furniture. I mentioned this to the front desk staff and don't know if they will address ... Read more

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel a few times over a fifteen year time frame. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the hotel is quiet. At check in our clerk was very nice, made us laugh with his sense of humour. The pub is within the hotel proper has always been good. It can be busy, but always great food & service. A delightful stay.

Spent one evening here during a long weekend staycation. Hotel is easy to get to off the highway and there is plenty of free parking. Service at the front desk was efficient and friendly. We had a clean, comfortable room on the 5th floor looking out towards the highway. Room was nice and quiet, even with a big party going on downstairs in the evening. There are a couple of places to eat onsite and the Pantry was simple and reasonable, plus provided a discount to hotel guests. The indoor pool ... Read more

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Convenient location with restaurants, a pub, liquor store and grocery store within walking distance. I stayed in a King Bed Corner Suite - it was very clean, the bed and sofa were comfortable, and it had a large desk. Will be back whenever I am doing business in the area.

Great location..15-20 min drive to downtown Vancouver and close to the trails! Clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Equipment in gym is decent and functional....stayed for 3 nights and would return. They also have "locals" rates for residents of the Shore which are similar or better to the best rates on Hotwire, Trivago or other sites.

The location is convenient at busy traffic intersections, freeway and bridge on ramp. Everything is close by and it's only a 20 minute drive to downtown Vancouver. The rooms are nice, clean and well insulated from the trafic noise. The property has a restaurant and a Pub that is popular with the locals.
