We found the bed uncomfortable and the pillows to be the worst ever. When we were checking out, we saw a sign on the counter explaining how to use the bed controls to adjust the firmness. It would have been nice to know that at check in and we were told the staff was supposed to explain it at check in. We requested additional towels and a blanket and they were brought to us quickly. We requested a quiet room and were very pleased to hear no noise all night.

My wife and I returned to this lovely property for a few days of relaxation and to do some shopping. This hotel is a very short distance to the Outlet Mall at QEW & Glendale. It is also about a ten minute drive to the beautiful little town of Niagara on the Lake. Our room, 426, was well lit, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed and pillows made for a good nights sleep. The staff are professional and friendly, the property is well maintained and welcoming. Great dollar value.

I cannot say enough about how accommodating the staff was and how eager they were to be of assistance. For example, when I called down to see if I might get a spoon, they immediately sent a waiter up with a full complement of silverware wrapped in a cloth napkin. Likewise, the toom was very pleasant, though average in size: sleep system bed and choice of pillow softness, etc... The only thing to note is that while this says "Niagara-on-the-lake", it is a good 10-15 minute drive to the town o... Read more

This was a great hotel for a get-away to Niagara. Clean rooms and friendly staff. It was very quiet. The room had a microwave and fridge which was great. The location is right near the outlet mall, niagara on the lake and niagara falls so awesome. We also did the wine tour through CRUSH wine tours and had a great time. They picked up and dropped off at the hotel. We will stay here again.

We visit Niagara on the Lake about once a year and this is our third time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Can't say enough about this place. The rooms are clean with many amenities, the lobby area and outside has numerous places to sit and relax with friends and a glass of wine, and the staff and service is superb, no matter what time of day you have questions or need assistance. Great rate and convenient location. Clean and quiet. I would prefer if hotels would get rid of all of their carpets. I turned the in-room air conditioner off at night because the noise from it going off and on again frequently throughout the night bothers my sleep. Friendly check in and check out.

My first impression was disappointing, as there's not much of a garden & it's nowhere near the Lake. However, my room was large, clean, comfortable, & attractively decorated & furnished, with a pleasant outlook. Moreover, during my stay I was inflicted with an intestinal virus, & the staff could not have been more helpful: I was promptly supplied with things I needed (quantities of bottled water, a bathrobe), & when my condition obliged me to extend my stay, I was allowed to stay on in the sa... Check-in went smoothly and Reception staff were helpful, but unfortunately the remainder of our stay was disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, notwithstanding a firmness setting. This hotel is located about 15 minutes from downtown Niagara on the Lake. We found the room average and very clean. We were very disappointed to find that their restaurant was more like a buffet breakfast room. It is located right in the lobby with a very small bar and is only open staggered hours. They also offer free parking and free internet. It's location is basically right on the highway with an outlet mall about five minutes away.

This location is good for stepping off to niagara on the lake, Niagara Falls, St Catherine's and the locks. We looked to see about riding the bus from the hotel into niagara on the lake. We choose to have the bikes on the car and found a park just on the edge of town. We rode the bike path that goes to Niagara Falls. We've found Hilton Garden Inn's to be consistently comfortable, clean and offer all the amenities we look for (wireless, fridge, coffee maker in the room, fitness center, breakfast available on site if we want). The Niagra-on-the Lake location was convenient for touring wineries and attending a play at the Shaw festival. For shoppers, it is also close to what looked like a very nice outlet mall. And it is also a short drive to Niagra Falls.

The hotel is nice, clean, but not very close to the village of Niagara on the Lake. If you drive there the parking is limited. Breakfast at the hotel is not included and is extremely overpriced. There are no options for purchasing a small breakfast. The Winery Restaurant has the best pizza around.

A bit expensive for what you breakfast, daily newspapers, etc...but very nice overall. The room was clean and the bed firm but very comfortable. The staff was very nice and allowed us a late checkout which helped us out a lot. Would definitely go back if I got a good rate!!

My wife and I stayed for three mid-week nights and were very satisfied. The room was spotless and quiet, the housekeeping above reproach and the parking adequate. It was a good 15 minute drive, in normal traffic conditions, from the Shaw Festival but that was expected. We will certainly return.

Rooms comparable to other good chain hotels. No complaints. As far as the restaurant in the hotel, worst pancakes I ever had. Tasted like they spilled baking soda in the batter. Town has better restaurants, but it's a ways from the Hilton, but doable. Has a nice indoor pool. Town itself reminded me of a New Jersey boardwalk but upscale.

I traveled for years for work. Hilton Garden Inns were high on my list of properties to stay in. But I never had beds so hard in all my years on the road. Tossed and turned all night, trying to get comfortable. Also, if you plan to go "downtown" Niagara on the Lake for shopping, dining, etc., be aware this place is 15-20 minutes from there, out by the Queen Elizabeth Way. Not exactly convenient. On the positive side, the hotel is great, has a nice bar, and is clean and well maintained.

I have been staying at Hilton hotels during my working life and I continue to so do when ever an opportunity come my way. Pleasant place to stay , it is home away from home. Thank you I will stay at another Hilton any day when there is an opportunity for us to stay

This hotel was clean and bright. The service was very good. It's a great value for the price. It's close to shopping and vineyard where you can go on a wine tasting. The hotel staff were able to direct us to the best areas to sight see and shop.

We were in Canada for a wedding and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. We had an excellent experience at the hotel. The staff in all areas were very friendly and courteous. The Hotel was very clean, safe and comfortable. The food was excellent and we would strongly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and happy stay.

Decent hotel, very clean, good staff. I had an issue with the shower backing up while showering and Gross black hair other guest remnants from the drain covered the tub base and my feet. It was pretty filthy. The front desk staff was apprised but only offered an apology and a stunned look. They could have offered to comp. my breakfast or something... But nothing, not great for $200 a night.

This hotel should not advertise as being close to Niagara-on-the-lake - it is a good 15 - 20 minute drive from there. It is more Niagara-on-the-freeway! The beds were really hard, and the air-conditioning was super noisy. Did not sleep well, & woke up sore. The breakfast was very good (although we had to pay for it), & the staff helpful. It is about 10-15 minutes by car to Niagara Falls.

Nice, clean hotel. Breakfast was extra $$, but convenient. Good location, close to the college for lunch or dinner- but not far from the wineries. I'm not from the area so when we heard the canons going off from our hotel room we thought someone was being annoying outside pounding a basketball. It is actually to scare the birds from the eating the grapes. It ended at dark so we slept fine, but it starts early when the sun comes up. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Always clean no matter which location we stay in, and it has been several. Picked this on because it is listed near Niagara on the lake, not so. Took about 20 minutes to drive there, thought would have been able to stroll down the road. The drive itself was not so bad, was able to see and stop at some of the winery's. Made a quick stop at Peller, which has some of the best wine. The only draw back to this hotel and it seems to be a theme across the chain, the beds are extremely hard. Both my hus... Read more

"very" clean, quiet place. Stayed here with my friends and will be sure to advise others to stay here. Place was squeaky clean from our room to the pool area. So easy to find, right off the highway and very quiet. A pleasant surprise.

So we stayed 2 nights in the Embassy Suites at Niagara Falls which was a complete rip off. Overpriced and the facility cannot accommodate the needs of the high number of guests it has at any given time.,We ended our trip in Niagara On The Lake and I wish I had stayed here longer. Great hotel for the value! Everything you need. Staff is very nice! Beds are harder than the ES in Niagara which I believe is a Hilton brand but overall we had everything we needed for a delightful stay!

Great hotel just right off the QEW. Quiet and family-oriented. We came for an under-14 basketball tourney and the hotel was a perfect complement to the whole experience. Very helpful reception staff who replaced our defective iron immediately. Just 10 minutes drive from Niagara Falls without the hustle-and-bustle. Comfortable beds, Wi-Fi and enough amenities in the room to buy and store your take-out if you want. No good restaurants in the immediate vicinity but a fast-food mini-mall opposite th... Read more

This hotel was very clean, well priced and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was very good value. The bar was a nice spot for a happy hour cocktail. It is convenient to the highway but far enough away that you don't hear the noise so it was a good quiet sleep. It's a bit of a drive 15 minutes or so down to the old town but very convenient to various wineries and attractions.

My husband and I enjoyed our one night stay which was part of our mini vacation. Had the whirlpool room which we enjoyed. Stayed there last fall so we knew how nice and quiet it would be. I would and likely will go back In a heartbeat.

Nice place for a weekend and to visit the winery. The hotel is in a central place and everything is at a maximum of 15 minutes drive. We visit 9 wineries, the falls and the village. The service at the hotel was always good and the breakfast is one of the best.
