Booked through Travelzoo on a deal, we were quite satisfied with our choice. The room was comfortable and the location easy to get to. Not right on the falls, but not far away either. There is a good amount of parking available and an iHOP onsite for a very convenient breakfast option.

Purchased the deal of 1 night stay at Ramada 2 blocks from Fallsview Casino and restaurants. Included a $30.00 voucher for the Keg in the Embassy Suites building and a $50.00 credit for the Casino. Keg was excellent for dinner as usual & the casino was a fun time. Ramada room was comfortable, clean and above average. Only problem was the coffee maker leaked (no big deal) and the light in the entrance wasn't working.

I would not stay here again. The tub had mold on the grouting, The furniture was stained and the rugs in the room and hallway were old and dirty. We could not get the tv to work and called the front desk. We were told to unplug it and plug it back in. If they have a solution, then they know there is a problem so why hasn't it been fixed? Our lamp and clock were not plugged in so we had to move the nightstand. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed under there in a very long time. A very unsatisf... Read more

I usually try to keep my reviews very positive and give people the benefit of the doubt, however, there are a lot of areas where there could be improvement. I will start out with some of the things that were good about the experience. Positives: 1) We ordered the Groupon online which included some activities and coupons that we were able to use to have fun and get a little cheaper food throughout our trip. 2) The location of the hotel is pretty great as it is a short walk to pretty much every a... This hotel was definitely over evaluated. It is dirty in the hallways and public areas. The room boasted a hot tub but it was actually just a big bath tub. It says Fallsview but there is a large hotel blocking the way. We would never stay here again

I called ahead and double checked that I booked the hotel for two nights and I was assured I had it for the 10th and 11th night. On the morning of the 11th I left early to walk around and come back to the hotel and find myself locked out of my room because they only had me booked for the one day. This put a huge damper on my trip and was very inconvenient. I asked for the room to be cleaned and it did not even though I left for 4 hours. This was a decent room. Clean and functional. Rooms would be better served if there were small fridges (not at the $10.00 cost), but with the room. The tub is a bit thin, so soaking in it after a long run was not actually comfortable at all. Very strange.

Was not as clean as I would expect in the bathroom. Shower did not have enough pressure. Main issue is that they charged us a room fee for being a tourist which we are not and legally they need to give the fee back to us and would not. They gave us the cheaper feed back but not the one that was almost $20.00. Manager was very rude and unprofessional and we will not go back to a ramada.

Had to have the main desk come up and flip the breaker. Also had an issue with the outlet in the bathroom, so had to plug in the coffee maker in the main room and place it on the floor! This hotel was ok until I received my bill! I was charged and extra $35 for fees called "facility fee" and "tourism fee." there was another one named HST and I have no idea what that meant! What are these fees?? I spoke to a Canadian after the fact and they said that this happens and I could've argued them off of the bill because they aren't required! Just a warning when traveling to Canada and especially Niagara area. This really upset me!

Bought this hotel off Groupon with added perks. Seemed like a good deal. Pros: was walking distance to the Falls, bed was comfortable, and got a $30 gift card to the Keg (groupon benefit) Cons: charged us $21 for parking (with taxes), rooms were dated and not really clean, sofa was worn and dirty This is an ok place to stay for one night but probably wouldn't be our first choice. My husband really didn't like it but it was just ok for me.

We were very disappointed in our 2 night visit. Hotel was not cleaned properly and furniture was old as were the towels. Hallway was in dire need of cleaning. Carpet was full of lint and dirt. Disappointed that no free breakfast was offered as with other hotels we have stayed in. Also we had to pay to park our car which was totally outrageous. I feel the high nightly rate they charged should have at least covered parking.

I picked this hotel because it was a little farther out from the others in hopes it would be quieter and still conveniently close to the attractions. It lived up to those expectations, but the front desk staff could've told us more about how to get around when we checked in. The girl said everything was in walking distance, and didn't mention the bus that stopped out front, was inexpensive, and took us everything quickly. We found that out after walking to the falls, a very long distance, and... Read more

Pool water was warm, and the area was bright. There could have been more pool towels available, as well as the floors and drains kept clean. Still the kids had a ball swimming. It didn't drive us out of the hotel immediately, but it did permeate our clothing and belongings after 3 days. I use a CPAP breathing machine for... Read more

Nice Groupon value although restaurants were expensive but very good. Nice, convenient. Ihop on site was very good but outrageously expensive and we were not aware and were not told of the sneaky NFDF "Tax/fee/theft". I have referred someone else but did tell them about this robbery and have spread the word. Well we come back? Not real soon and we won't be taken advantage of again. I do know that it is voluntary for the establishments so those who initiate it are abusing their visitors and patro... Read more

We returned for our 1 year anniversary and were not disappointed. The hotel is easy walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go and not as expensive as other hotel stays. With our package, we did received passes for the bus so could have explored more. Will likely be back again next year.

My husband and I have stayed here many times for a little weekend getaway. We always have a good stay. Only once have we had breakfast at the IHOP and it was disgusting. That's the only complaint. Everything else was perfect. For breakfast now we always go to the Perkins that is witjinh walking distance. This hotel is a good price, and within walking distance from the Falls and Fallsview Casino. Better price then the hotels across from the Casino. If you don't mind the walk- would totally recomm... We stayed for 2 nights. Few things need updating. The balcony door when you open was a struggle, like it was off its tracks. The dresser drawer opened but would get stuck on the door underneath it. TV converter didn't work to turn the tv or off. The hotel room could have used a coat of paint and new carpet. It is in a good spot for walking to the Casino. The person at the front desk who checked us in didn't even smile. But for the price it was ok. Most likely we will go back to the Doubletree... Read more

It's fine, I mean, it's cheap and it's kind of close to the falls, and by close I mean like a 10 minute walk. The room was nice and big, reasonably clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was good enough. The place is a bit beat up. There was a crack in the wall in our bathroom and a huge crack in the sink, but it seemed like it was just cosmetic. The front desk was SUPER friendly and check in was easy. It's not the most luxurious place I've ever seen, but I like it and I'd stay here again. Now, here's ... Read more

First - there is no view of the falls at this location. The area is called Fallsview...so don't ask for a room with a view. Just saying because the guy in front of us was not happy there was no view :-0 The check-in was fine but I want to know why there are extra fees...Why is the room rate not inclusive of the facilities fee? Seems a bit like a scam to charge more. Kind of like a bait and switch. And parking is 14$ per day. Now the location is great. Easy walk to the liquor store, cas... Read more

I would recommend this hotel. It was conveniently located to the falls and points of interest. While we knew about the parking fee, I wish we knew up front about all the fees that were added onto the room before check out.

When you compare dozens of hotels, you don't expect that the price they're advertising for a Canadian hotel will be in US dollars (yes, it's mentioned if you look closely), that there is no breakfast included (although most other hotels have it), that there are additional fees snuck in, and that you will have to pay $21.14 (US) for parking (which is not mentioned) although some neighbouring hotels have free parking.

Hotel offered a good price for decent accommodations. Close to many attractions and highway. Rooms were pretty standard. But big enough and clean. Good for a short term stay. No ice machines on the floors. Stay away from IHOP way too much$$

My boyfriend and I recently stayed in the Kings Room Jacuzzi suite with balcony. Though our view was the back parking lot it was nice to have that option. The room layout was great for a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. However the bed wasn't the most comfortable and the fridge didn't seem to keep anything cold. We chose this hotel based on a good loyalty member rate which offered various vouchers for restaurants and attractions. The staff were courteous and accommodating throughout our two nig... Read more

We have stayed here and have always had a good experience the hotel is walking distance to Fallsview Casino and IMAX. The safe always friendly and helpful. We had a small issue this stay and the manager Bryan was most helpful resolving it.The IHOP restaurant on site is overpriced would never eat there again.

If you want a clean hotel to sleep in for one night or you if you want near the action but not really like spending too much money for a hotel, this place is for you. Not only its just 1 block from the Fallsview Casino, you can actually walk into the middle of the action, 5 mins. from clifftop Hill by car & 2 mins. from the Greg Frewin Magic Show. Parking is not free its for $14 a day but I guess its cheaper than parking anywhere else. The hotel gave you a $10 voucher in IHOP & $20 voucher for o... Read more

This is just a place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean. Customer service sucked. The hair dryer in our room didn't work. It took two days and a call to management to get a working one. He did remove the parking charge from our bill so that was nice.

Unfortunately there were rowdy teenagers at 2 am shouting in the hallway even when there were "Do not disturb" signs on the doors. Obvious;y they were irresponsible and inconsiderate to those around them, Also, an annoying incidence of having a drunken gentleman banging on the wrong door at 3 am. Of course, I did not answer. I guess we were not to have any rest that evening. So it is.

The room wasn't clean, linens were stained, towels were old and frayed. Hair in the bathroom, mildew in the jacuzzi tub. The window started leaking in the middle of the night (which must happen often as there was mold around the spot it was coming in). We left around 12:30 after being offered another room, and told that it was just the air conditioner leaking on the floor above.

Overall the room itself was great. We got the presidential suite (with hot tub in the room) and it was very clean although as other reviewers mentioned, outdated. However the main issue I had was with all the strange fees (multiple tourism fees, fees for parking, tax on all those fees, etc) which were not mentioned at the time of booking. Additionally I was very surprised that you could hear the sound of other people using what I assume is there bathtubs (someone on the floor above us had theirs... Read more

I booked a room for 2 nights in Nov/16 this past weekend. For the rates charged & paid, I was quite upset with the issues found in the room. The 4-drawer dresser had 2 broken drawers (2nd and 3rd drawer). The remote did not work. One bedside table lamp did not work. The sliding doors (inside & outside doors) were extremely difficult to open & shut. There was a 'used' washcloth left hanging over the shower curtain rod. Two positive notes were the bed was very comfortable and it was not a n... Read more

horrible check-in service. The day of arrival my credit card was charged waaaayy before I arrivaled at the hotel. When I told them they already charged me for the room, they proceeded to tell me they never did. I had to literally show them my online statement of my credit card of them charging me for the room already. Once they notice they already did, they apologized and still over charged me for the hotel room. WATCH OUT FOR THIS HOTEL ! They also seem to always over book on their hotel rooms.

We stayed here for Sleep Cheap and we were able to enjoys room with a huge jacuzzi for only $65! Cons? They had accidentally cancelled our reservation and said they hadn't but when we showed them proof, they fixed their mistake. House keeping was running late cleaning our room so we were told to come back in 30 minutes, this was at 4:30 and check in is at 4 so we had to come back at 5. The Ramada Fallsview is closer to the Fallsview area (hence the name) and very close to the Fallsview Casino, but it is also close enough to walk to the Clifton Hill area and the shopping, entertainment and dining around it. Ample parking behind hotel ($14 per night). We bought a Groupon to stay here and it came with many coupons, some of which were useful. The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, however needs updating. The $14.00 parking should have not been charged to paying hotel guests..makes no sense The $15.00 Ihop voucher in the hotel is a rip off. Don't pay over $15.00 for club house and fries. $55.00 for breakfast is hardly convenient. Go down the street to $6.99 buffet. I booked with this hotel as I had received an email that said "Newly Renovated, comfortable and spacious accommodations" This room was not newly renovated. Maybe 30 years ago. Very out dated. We stayed on the 5th floor. The elevator needs updating, stopped on every floor, went up when I pressed down. Bathroom was so small. Lots of wasted space in my room. It was a clean room though. We checked in and out fine, no complaints there. Will not be staying here again.

My husband & myself along with our 6 year old son decided to try the Niagara Falls Ramada hotel in hopes of having an enjoyable weekend away from home. Within minutes of entering our room (the Junior Presidential suite) the problems began! The room was very cold due to the faulty heating unit.
