Beautiful views. I think the whole hotel faces the falls. We had the best night sleep here, extremely comfortable bed, so much so, i want to buy one! Clean and comfortable. A/c was a problem however. It just did not cool the room down. It seems that many rooms had this issue. Also, make sure to place do not disturb on your handle or you will be disturbed.

We thought this is the one can have a view to the fall but not. There is another one at Fallsview. We waited for over 30 minutes to have our food served. And the steaks were too dry. Server was friendly but not professional. More like a family restaurant than a steakhouse. Does not like the other of the chain elsewhere.

My family stayed here a few weeks ago for a basketball tournament. The hotel itself is nice. We had dinner at Milestones which was good and the server was lovely. We were disappointed that none of our rooms were together, as they usually try to accommodate us at other hotels, less travelling from floor to floor. Some of the hallways were under construction, and many had no furniture/tables/ night tables in the room. The parking was very expensive at $30/night. We stayed next door at the Radi... Read more

There are 2 Marriotts on the same block. I looked at previous reviews to help to decide which one but none of them really helped so I went with which offered the better price.....boy was I happy. This hotel is much taller then the other and the higher floor Fallsview room is amazing, see photo!! The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is because the elevators where a bit slow and on one occasion they were moving trundle beds and bins in those same elevators. The view of the falls from the 28th floor of this hotel was breath taking. We chose this hotel for its location and view of the falls. The mattress and pillows were excellent for my husband, who has back pain, and me. I was disappointed when we walked into our room, however, it smelled. The carpet needed a thorough shampooing, the shower wand didn't work, the nightstand lamp didn't work and several channels on the television didn't have sound. Our room was on the 28th floor and the view was spectacular. The beds and pillows were the best. The room was very clean. We had cocktails and appetizers at Milestones outside on the deck. Both were very good. The only complaint we had was how the Mariott has redecorated their rooms. Although it didn't affect us, there is no longer any type of dresser or desk or table in the room. If I was there on business, there would not have been any place to do any work. If we would have ordered room serv... Read more

Came here for a 4 day mini vacation. This wasn't the best hotel I've stayed at in Niagara Falls. The pros: great location; beds were extremely comfortable; spacious and clean. Unfortunately my list of cons are longer. The Cons: we were placed on a floor that is going through renovations, although the room was completed, the hallways were still incomplete but I wasn't told this when making the reservation or during check-in. The view of Niagara Falls from the 25th floor was amazing. They seemed to have no trouble providing the interconnecting room that had been booked and upgraded us to free breakfasts which came with 2 x 2 vouchers. The rooms were very clean and there were tea and coffee making facilities as well as a fridge. I was the first one awake and rather than wake the other 3, I went to have breakfast. Despite ringing the front desk and confirming that breakfast was included, I was not allowed to have an... Read more

This was the "Gateway" Marriott. Probably one of the most wonderful views we have ever had (29th floor). Our housekeeper, Halina, did a great job and was very pleasant and friendly. It was obvious that she enjoyed her work. Debbie at the Milestones Grill was always on top of things and a wonderful person to converse with. Our biggest problem was with the Concierge Lounge. The so-called hors d'oeuvres were some of the worst we ever had. There was only one made. Cheese/crackers? Plain Jane... Read more

Good hotel. Great location, you can see the falls even from street level outside the hotel. The milestones resteraunt is one of the better resteraunt I've eaten in that was attached to a Marriott property. They offer you $15 CAD off as well. The sink was clogged and didn't drain well, but with only one night, I didn't have time to try and get a new room. Just hit the ground running and enjoyed the area.

this hotel is in an excellent location and provide an amazing view! We had a two room suite which was very nice lead done with a fireplace and excellent bathrooms. When you pull back the curtain to look out the window you are staring directly into the Horseshoe Falls. Absolutely beautiful! We were able to enjoy the fireworks directly from our room.

We had a falls view room on the fifth floor. Brilliant view which meant we could see the falls illuminated at night without leaving our room. This was a must as we have a small baby who needed to get to bed, and otherwise we would have missed the illuminations. Lovely room with a jacuzzi bath. The door on the toilet and shower room had a faulty lock and looked a bit grimy but apart from that, I can't fault it. Had a lovely stay. We didn't stay for breakfast, but went to Apple bees just down the ... Read more

The hotel is somewhat run down our wine package was not at all like described. Every time we went to the counter patrons were having issues with check in etc (as we did). We chose this hotel to celebrate an important occasion and were greatly disappointed. I did address my concerns to Marriott and was offered a room upgrade for my next visit. However we won't be staying there again.

One thing that this hotel has going for them is that the view was beautiful. The rooms and the common areas near the elevators could use a little updating/cleaning. There is parking however it is expensive and limited.Just a bit of advice - look over your bill carefully before you check out. You will notice a PF charge that is a voluntary tourism fee. I recommend that you speak with someone about removing this hidden charge before you check out. Food is expensive in Niagara Falls and we ended ... Read more

Our room was incredible. We paid for a fallsview, and they upgraded us to a junior suite. We didn't have to leave the room. I really liked the modern decor. It was very clean, and in a great location!

We liked this hotel very much and our falls view room was a nice size with an awesome view. One big drawback was the lack of drawer space for our belongings. This was a very busy hotel and the wait time for the elevator was long at peak times.

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday and this hotel didn't disappoint. We were on a top floor and with the ceiling to floor windows overlooking the falls we had the best view. At night they dimmed the lights and we stood at the window and watched a beautiful fireworks display both in Canada and America. Booked all three nights in their dinning room - just an elevator ride back up to room! Food was wonderful, staff very accommodating. Small gift shop offered nominal quick bits of snacks and so... Be sure to book a room with a view: you will not be dissapointed as the view is directly over-looking the falls. A stunning sight to wake up to and see at different times of day. Also lovely to watch from the restaurant. Perfectly decent room with all the usual amenities. The one bad thing is the lifts: they are dreadfully slow to appear: we were on the 7th floor so using the stairs was OK but higher up would have been exhausting or time wasting if just hanging about for one. Great location plus... Read more

The hotel staff bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Very helpful when questioned about places to go or things to see. The hotel itself is beautiful and located close to attractions, but also far enough away to allow for some peace from the crowds.

We stayed overnight at the Marriott and opted for the fallsview room. If you ever consider any of the hotels that are facing the falls then shell out the extra cash. The views are breathtaking when viewed from a floor-to-ceiling picture window. The room itself was immaculate with a huge king size bed. My only complaint would be that there is no wall between the room and washroom so, when sharing with family, it isn't the most ideal setting. Other than that, we had a great experience with both se... Read more

Staff was very friendly, Rooms were spacious and clean, however, rooms had no draws to put your clothes, the lighting in the room was terrible, The door to the bathroom did not close, and kept falling off the track, no privacy.(We booked 4 rooms and all the bathrooms had sliding doors that did not close) There were no safes in the rooms to secure your passports. The elevators took forever. I originally booked the other Marriott down the block and they changed my stay to this Marriott) I asked t... Read more

Generally a typical Marriott, until you go to your room and open the curtains. Breathtaking views of the Falls. Just Awesome to see whenever you are in your room. The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar, Starbucks and indoor pool as well is you stay around there. The WEGO transportation system has a bus stop right across the street. Restaurants nearby in walking distance too.

This hotel is a very nice hotel. The room was updated and had fantastic views of the Falls. There was supposed to be a sofa bed, which there was NOT but they provided a cot when we called. Lady at tour desk was very nice but slow!!!!! Felt bad at the line behind us because she took SOOOO long to book our tour. The elevators were absolutely awful!! SLOW , crowded and even got stuck. The location was great for the falls, with amazing views even from the hallway. It is a bit far from Clifton Hill but that was OK for me. The room was spacious, clean and the AC actually did a good job of cooling the room (rare in my experience). My only real complaint was the pillows were garbage which led to a bad sleep. I asked for a free upgrade to the falls view and was denied. I was told there were lots of falls view rooms available. Since we checked in later I would have thought a f... Read more

We arrived at the hotel with our grandson and were greeted by the bell hop who offered to take our luggage and direct us to the on site outdoor parking. He informed us that parking would cost $29.95 per day. He gave us a claim tag for our luggage and we proceeded inside to go to the check in counter. We were greeted by a young woman who spoke English but, spoke with such a broken accent that we could not understand what she was saying. Every single penny you will spend to stay in this hotel is totally worth it. We book a loft on 22 floor with falls view, I literally cannot describe the beautiful fall views in words. It was my wife's birthday and they sent complimentary cake slices. Ice on cake when we were able to see all the fireworks on Sunday night from our room. I strongly recommend this Hotel if you are planning your trip to Niagara Falls.

This hotel is at the end of the run of hotels overlooking the falls. We had a spectacular view of the Horseshoe Falls from our bedroom window and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was a short walk to the centre of the Falls and all the attractions, with many diners and restaurants nearby. We didn't eat in the hotel at all and the roof terrace was neglected, which we felt was a waste of what could be a good area. Overall a good place to stay away from the more crowded areas.

They charge CAD$30 for parking, and $23/adult buffet which is the most expensive buffet coz of the fall view. But my room has no fall view, 3 adults still cost about CAD$300. They charge some security deposit and then back to the account. P.S. the pool is dirty and small !!

We paid quite a bit (by our standards) to stay here as we wanted to splurge for the view and a nice hotel. The view was awesome, but the room was dirty and definitely not worth it. The shower was filled with black mold and so tiny it was hard to do the public shower don't touch the walls dance. The awkward picture window into the bathroom was odd and uncomfortable. And the water in the room got so hot, so quickly, it nearly burned my son. Hot water is awesome, but this was beyond hot and da... Read more
