We booked a high floor falls view room with a jacuzzi tub. We were expecting a decent view, but were stunned when we got to our 22nd floor room. Floor to ceiling windows with a birds eye view of the Horseshoe AND American Falls. We had a beautiful view of the river and rapids leading to the Horseshoe, and it was very private since there were no buildings across the water; only the state park. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. You could get... Read more

Nice hotel, spacious room, great staff and a spectacular few!! Going to Niagara Falls you need to have a room with a view!!. The Marriott is at the end of "hotel row". It was more quiet than staying in the middle of the town. The conceirge, Jo was extremely helpful with restaurant reservations, and tour suggestions. Thanks Jo!! Would definitely stay here again!

I have been a rewards member for years and stay only at Marriott for the most part. I seek them out! The location of this Marriott was GREAT! The accommodations were GREAT! But, truly the GREATEST was a young lady that checked us in. Her name was Alejandra. Alejandra truly EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS AND WENT OVER, ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Alejandra has the gift of customer service. Not all employees in the industry have the 'gift of customer service'. She is a credit to the industry!! Alejan... Read more

The high rooms in the hotel give you a most spectacular view of the Falls, both the American and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, plus a glimpse of New York State. The rooms in the hotel are superior, especially those with a jaccuzzi bathtub , with glass doors that open up to the seating area. Unlike most other waterfalls, it is a surprise to be looking down at it rather than up. It is at it's most spectacular when it is frozen to a mere dribble in a very severe winter. We stayed here for three nights and thought you could not beat the view! Add the fireworks at night, and it is quite amazing. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and helpful, especially arranging tours and recommending restaurants locally. However, the hotel is very busy, the desk clerks were clearly overwhelmed, and it is EXPENSIVE. We had 4 beers and it was over $40 US not counting tip. Dinner was outrageous and not that great. We are still trying to get our bill straightened out as there ... Read more

When first checking in the front desk person was telling me I did not have anything booked for the weekend. That he could not find my name this was very frustrating to me and eventually he found it and apologized and upgraded our room for the inconvenience. I stayed on the 12th floor in a corner room with the best view of the falls. I was even able to see the fireworks without having to leave my room. This hotel positioning was fabulous if you want a view of the falls from your bedroom windows. It truly was awesome. It is easy to get to all the attractions on the Wego bus system, which leaves from just outside the hotel You can buy a pass cheaply. I had a little confusion when I arrived in Toronto. Which if the Marriott hotels had I booked into. There are 2 side by side. Confusion cleared. I was on the Marriott FALLSVIEW (formerly Gateway to the Falls) Check-in was seamless and the Receptionist was very friendly. The lobby area spotless. A tour operator was just as you walked in. This was my not stop once I had offloaded my luggage in my room. My room was on the 18th Floor and when I entered my room, the view stopped me in my tracks. ... Read more

Great room great service. Booking tours at hotel was more expensive than it would have been to book at welcome center across the street. The only thing we didn't like was the "pf" promotional fee- which we were told is optional - and some vendors ( tour, spa) willingly removed but others ( Starbucks, gift shop) did not. The area businesses all contribute to this fund and must make enough money from tourists to cover cost.

I decided to bring my wife to Niagara Falls for her birthday. When I called the Marriott Fallsview, I asked for something special. From the moment we checked in, and the desk person stepped out from behind the desk to hand us the room key, I knew I had made the right decision. We were upgraded to a Jr Suite on the 20th floor, with the most amazing view of the Falls! The hotel anticipated everything we would need, and we were not disappointed! We give Marriott Fallsview the highest rating!

I feel like the pictures on booking this hotel were slightly misleading. The view is outstanding and cannot be disputed, however we paid extra for a superior room and it did not meet expectations. Extremely bad experience. Old rooms, threadbare hallway carpeting, cafeteria breakfast experience. Overworked concierge desk. The only good thing about the hotel is its view of Niagara Falls. Otherwise, this is a glorified two-star motel pretending to be a full-service Marriott. Most of the guests are tour groups or one-night tourists. The hotel restaurant overlooks a side street with no view whatsoever. Very, very disappointing.

I booked the Niagara Fallsview Marriott Hotel because of its location, and it more than lived up to my expectations. The view of the falls from our 14th floor room was superb. I found the staff to be pleasant; check-in and check-out was easy and efficient; and the hotel amenities and decor were satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel. It seems to be at the far end of all the other activity and was a bit of a walk to the falls but on a beautiful day, it was a breeze. It overlooks the Horseshoe Falls and our room had a spectacular view. The rooms have been updated and are beautiful and clean. The lobby seems a little dark and doesn't seem to get a lot of sun, I think because of the treeline. But it's very nice, modern, bustling and has a lobby bar. One evening... Read more

Superb location with excellent service starting from front foyer when we arriving. There is warm receiving with nice valet parking service, the reception staff are so nice and efficient that made us to feel like to be at home. The room is in good large size and lounge service was very impressive for the lovely employees. Overall, I rate this hotel a perfect resort accommodation in full mark.

This hotel is excellent and the staff are friendly. But be careful when booking tours at the information counter. The expensive "Magnificent Tours" is not necessary unless you have trouble walking. Why? The "Behind the Falls" tour is right below the hotel. Take the lift down and go into the Visitor Center. It's fairly reasonably priced there. Then you only need to take a very nice, scenic walk along the river to the boat tour. Again, reasonably priced compared to the tour price. (The "Whirlpo... Read more

As a professional traveler, I am a bit hard on hotels: they are my home for most of the week. With this in mind, I value Cleanliness, Safety and Location before all else. And the Marriott Fallsview scores amazingly high on all counts. Yes, they have a Spa and a Pool and a Gym and Restaurants.....yadda yadda yadda, but the property is maintained spotlessly, which is amazing since it caters to the tourist trade with a high turnover. The lobby staff is very attentive to the clientele. And the Locat... Read more

This hotel is Marriott Fallsview Hotel and Spa, there are 3 Marriott in Niagra, but the "Marriott on the Falls" is not as good of a location as the Fallsview Marriott. We checked in the wrong Marriott to begin with, as they are close together. There are 23 floors here, and we are in room #2016, so level 20. This is a picture of the nigh view from our room. From all the reviews, it was hard to decide between this and the Embassy Suites Hotel. The two are next door to each other, with the other ho... Read more

The room was nice and the view was great. The restaurant prices were ridiculous! $50 for breakfast for two?!?! That's not counting the hotel taxes that are not listed with the price of the room, which added $100 to the cost of the room. And they charge for wifi? At the price of the room, it should be included.

I've stayed here many times over the last twenty years. In fact, it's been my only choice --every time I've come to Niagara Falls. The views are always excellent and the staff is nice enough...but I've noticed it's been on a downward spiral and this time, it's been evident enough to make me consider choosing a different hotel for last time. For one thing, halls and rooms look very* dated but the room size, tubs, and views used to make up for it. This time our jacuzzi suite smelled pretty bad. A... Read more

Currently staying at the hotel. Paid extra for upgrade to fallsview room. The view is breathtaking but the room had bad odor from check in. I opened window to get the smell out but that did not work. Called front desk. When someone came up to inspect the room, he sprayed some air freshener and then said that the smell got better. Isn't it obvious??? After 30 minutes, smell returned. When I brought up the issue to the front desk, his immediate response was that the hotel was sold out and that m... Read more

We had an amazing time at the Falls. We stayed on the 10th floor in a room with falls view as well as a jacuzzi. The windows were wide open, we ordered drinks up to our room and just sat there at night looking over the falls. The only downside I have is that the bill we received at the end of our stay doesn't match up the charges I got on my credit card, I have additional charges with no description as to why I received these charges. The initial check out bill included parking and room service,... Read more

Driving up to the hotel one encounters the first traffic jam. Cars everywhere awaiting valet service or help getting inside to register. The lobby is full of people who seem to be wandering around aimlessly. Registration can be relatively painless if you have pre-registered online or an ordeal if you haven't. Rooms need to be gutted and rebuilt. Our superior falls view room came with a large whirlpool bath and a very small stall shower. If we wanted the better falls view we had to take the whirl... Start with the positive. Falls view room in the 10th floor was nice, solid view and cool to see both falls morning, noon and night. The breakfast buffet was rather solid. Chef working 6 omelet pans was rather impressive and moved the line. Selection otherwise was as desired and expected. Had same server twice (maybe Steve) and was impressed with his cheerful presence. View from the restaurant pretty neat. But... The concierge desk is a scam. Ask for advice, they just push their tour package.... Read more

We paid extra for a superior fallsview room, and it was amazing. There were two stuffed chairs to sit in while you gawked. Breakfast buffet was fine, and there is a funicular right across the street that takes you down to the falls. Easy walking to lots of restaurants and shopping. The pool was incredibly chlorinated, to the point that it hurt our eyes just being in the pool area. Valet was fine. It's a rather expensive place, but the view made it worth the splurge.

I found the hotel was not as nice as the reviews indicated. While the view in the Superior Fallsview room was really nice, enabling us to see both Falls, I was not happy with other parts of the hotel. Common areas were not clean including very dirty elevators and crap all over the floor in the breakfast area even after it just opened. Finally the made to order omelet was the best thing at the... We are regular customers of this hotel. It is calm and professional in all aspects. Rooms are consistently good and views amazing. We had dinner there last trip and it was excellent with top notch service. It is a short walk out the back door to both the falls and the casino. Worth the extra bucks. Tip: valet parking is expensive so park at the casino.
