I am a mother of a 6 month old and pregnant. I went to check in, and the room I went to had black mold around the window. My brother went down and explained the mold, and how I am pregnant with a small baby, the lady said maintence would be up right away. Mold is not something maintence can fix that quickly. We asked for another room, they said they had none, so we asked to check out. the lady went on the computer and handed us keys to another room.. Once we entered the second room, we saw that ... Gut the hotel and completely redo the rooms. Put in doors with soundproofing. New beds, update the plumbing &teach the cleaning staff how to clean!! We booked this Days Inn because of it's proximity to our party venue. We got there and checked in without any problem - the desk clerk was very friendly. When we got to our room, we were extremely disappointed. It smelled very stale. There were awful stains on the carpet (not sure if it was blood or something from the washroom!!). The beds were extr... Read more

After checking in, we found our room smelled strongly of cigarettes. We made sure to have this mentioned to the front desk staff right away, to ensure we wouldn't be blamed for the smell after check out, seeing we don't even smoke. Pillows were old and split in dozens little bits once your head was on it. Since we were only sleeping a few hours and leaving, we did not care about asking for a new room. Good thing we do our homework when we travel. At check out, we come to find our bill had an "ad... Read more

Overall; the room stay was comfortable. However, did not appreciate getting off the elevator (on our floor; at arrival) and is greeted with an open recycle blue bin/and garbage; which were still there when we left at 11:00 am the next day.

I was a little sceptical of this hotel after reading the numerous reviews that didn't speak too highly of this hotel. But I decided to go with an open mind. While there were a little hicups along the way, (for example the phone did not work in the room and the manager not knowing how to turn on the fireplace in my Jacuzzi suites) other than that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were really nice and full of information. Please do note that the restaurant that is attached ... Read more

The bathroom was very tiny, the toilet got plugged and took 24h to get it resolved. I asked 3 times and they said they would send maintenance, the 3rd time I asked they gave me a plunger and I fixed it myself. The ceiling had what looks like water damage, Not sure if it was fresh or from time ago, but it didn't look right and the room felt kind of stuffy (could of been in our heads though from wondering if there was mold or not). We were in a room literally 2 down from the lobby and there was... Read more

The folks that work here are wonderful. From the time we walked through the door to checkout they were courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is in need of a makeover. Our room was clean, had a small coffee machine with coffee provided. Carpet in our room was buckled and stained. Bathmat frayed (towels however were nice and thick) Beds poorly made and the duvet was bunched up in its cover and had seen better days. Wifi was poor and had to constantly reconnect.

We chose this hotel with budget in mind and it was the best rate for an actual HOTEL in all of tripadvisor. We booked a 1 night stay. We arrived an hour early with kids in tow. They suggested swimming to pass the time. Great idea! The pool is well maintained. Our check in was an hour late so we waited in the lobby until 4 pm damp from the pool. The lobby has good ammentities such as snack and drink vending machines and the pool and also lots of brochures with coupons and attraction information... Read more

Conveniently located just a few minutes from the falls and close to everything thing else. Clean and well kept and affordable. We parked the car and walked to the outlet mall which was just next door lots of fun things to do within a ten fifteen minutes walk the only time we drove the car was when we went to the falls 10 minutes away .

I booked two rooms on Days Inn website, and there was no note or warning that Parking might be an extra charge. Since we were 7 people, we drove a single minivan that sits all 7 of us, but at check out I was surprised to see 1) that a parking fee of $18 had been added to the bill even when the reservation on the website did not have a note on it and I specifically asked about parking at check in and there was no mention of a fee; and 2) that the Parking fee was charged to both rooms even when we... I booked through hotels.com, thought the location looked good and at a fair price. When we arrived, we were told we had to pay $8 a day for parking, despite no mention of a parking fee on the site. The first room we were given had a broken toilet. The second room was better. Clean. Toilet and shower worked. Beds were hard. Wifi was spotty; sometimes it worked, mostly it didn't. I cannot get into too many details involving our stay at this place because it still upsets me a lot. My wife and I stayed there on July 10/16 after spending several pleasant days in the Niagara area. Our vacation in Ontario took a turn for the worse when we appeared at this hotel. We checked-in and were issued a room that had a mattress that felt like it was filled with cement. We were directed to the second room that had already been slept in and the washroom was locked and they did not know h... Read more

This Hotel is older and had mixed ratings so consider that you get what you pay for (as it's less expensive than other hotels in the area). Facilities were in need of deep cleaning and overall hotel is in need of upgrade. Lundys lane Area is older and some places are run down or closed. Burned out building beside hotel building is an eyesore. Highway is on the other side (so there is no pretty view). Would not classify front desk staff as friendly. Booked a room for 2 adults, was given a room with 2 queens. Not a big deal, however when we got to the room the first thing we noticed was a very pungent cigarette smell. As stated in the other reviews, this isn't very average hotel. I would say the decor is very outdated and the carpets need a deep cleaning. Every time I walked into the room there was a pungent smell that would not leave. The beds are hard and it feels as if you are sleeping on just a box frame. Stayed Aug 13 / 16. If you must stay at this hotel, Demand a room in the main building. They stuck us in the courtyard section at the back of the hotel. Way overpriced for a room with stained carpets, zero Wi-Fi, rock- hard beds, paper thin walls. I will never again stay at this hotel !! They put a $50 hold on my credit card in case I didn't return the room keys? Give me a break.
