We stayed in the Inn @ the Quay last weekend, in a lovely, clean, spacious guestroom overlooking the water. Check-in staff were very friendly and accommodating. This location is so convenient! Right beside the Quay and above a restaurant, there are plenty of dining options close by. The skytrain is right there as well, so you can come and go with ease. Highly recommend!

The Inn at the Quay is located on the north shore of the Fraser River in the Quayside area of New Westminster. It is a short walk to several good restaurants and shops, and literally spans a lovely river boardwalk. Our room had a fabulous view of the Fraser and local mountains. The room was spacious and had a large desk in a separate work area. In addition, this hotel is just a few minutes walk from the New Westminster Skytrain station and a half-hour train ride to downtown Vancouver. My on... Read more

I picked this hotel because it was near businesses I needed to visit. There aren't many hotels near the industrial part of Coquitlam so finding one on the water at a reasonable price was great. The hotel is not new or newly remodeled. That said, it was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The restaurant next door had a very friendly staff and good selection, along with a nice view of the barges and other river traffic. There is a main street one block over with plenty of options for other ... Read more

Stayed for three nights here. I just left my executive suite at the River Rock and checked in here because it was close to my assignment and it was rated so highly by patrons on my Hotel app. The place is in disarray as there are huge construction projects in front of the hotel. The elevator was being Reno'd and there was only one functioning lift. The hotel lobby is nice but the room I stayed in was dated and the air system was loud. Didn't get a good nights rest as the heat dried my room t... Read more

We were in the Vancouver area for 3 days. This place was suggested to us by a family member. It was overpriced with nothing to write home about. The rooms were average. Nice lobby and nice view of the tugboats on the water.

Me and my wife stayed at the Inn at the Quay for a random getaway when we found ourselves kidless with no plans- it was ok... I always saw this place as a kid and thought it would be super fancy and how cool it would be to look out on the river but honestly I was a little let down with the older feel of the hotel as well as our lackluster view. I got a quick workout in which was semi awkward as the gym was on the same floor as a company Christmas party- walking through a buffet line to get to ... Read more

It's an okay hotel. It's not a "nice" hotel, in my opinion. It's overpriced for what you get, which is why I rated it "poor". It's poor for it's price range. It's nice looking, sure. But it's the details that make a hotel nice and not just okay. There were spider webs in some of the corners of the ceiling, the bathroom wasn't completely clean, the pillows were very underfilled and lumpy, the internet is REALLY slow and almost unusable for a lot of things, the sheets are rough, the mattress is av... If you need to stay in New West for business or pleasure you can't beat this location directly on the Fraser river at the end of a long boardwalk with no traffic in proximity due to a row of condos of various design all along the way. So the area is quiet but accessible to shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was full to capacity on Christmas night a testament to it being a favourite with locals.

My husband and I spent one night here because his Christmas party was at the Boat House Restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. We were impressed that there are real wine glasses in the room and not tiny little ones like a lot of hotels have and we had a great view that over looked the river. The internet is slow but we weren't there long enough to care. All around a nice get away for a night.

Room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed, snack bar, fully stocked fridge, bath robes and great views of the the water. Parking is a challenge due to the restaurant and market place nearby but paid parking is available below the hotel. Market place next door had some good shops and restaurants and the waterfront had a great walking area. Trains can be noisy as they pass by.
