We were in the Vancouver area for 3 days. This place was suggested to us by a family member. It was overpriced with nothing to write home about. The rooms were average. Nice lobby and nice view of the tugboats on the water.

Me and my wife stayed at the Inn at the Quay for a random getaway when we found ourselves kidless with no plans- it was ok... I always saw this place as a kid and thought it would be super fancy and how cool it would be to look out on the river but honestly I was a little let down with the older feel of the hotel as well as our lackluster view. I got a quick workout in which was semi awkward as the gym was on the same floor as a company Christmas party- walking through a buffet line to get to ... Read more

It's an okay hotel. It's not a "nice" hotel, in my opinion. It's overpriced for what you get, which is why I rated it "poor". It's poor for it's price range. It's nice looking, sure. But it's the details that make a hotel nice and not just okay. There were spider webs in some of the corners of the ceiling, the bathroom wasn't completely clean, the pillows were very underfilled and lumpy, the internet is REALLY slow and almost unusable for a lot of things, the sheets are rough, the mattress is av... If you need to stay in New West for business or pleasure you can't beat this location directly on the Fraser river at the end of a long boardwalk with no traffic in proximity due to a row of condos of various design all along the way. So the area is quiet but accessible to shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was full to capacity on Christmas night a testament to it being a favourite with locals.

My husband and I spent one night here because his Christmas party was at the Boat House Restaurant. The hotel staff are friendly, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. We were impressed that there are real wine glasses in the room and not tiny little ones like a lot of hotels have and we had a great view that over looked the river. The internet is slow but we weren't there long enough to care. All around a nice get away for a night.

Room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed, snack bar, fully stocked fridge, bath robes and great views of the the water. Parking is a challenge due to the restaurant and market place nearby but paid parking is available below the hotel. Market place next door had some good shops and restaurants and the waterfront had a great walking area. Trains can be noisy as they pass by.

My husband and I spent the weekend in New Westminster for his company Christmas party.¬† They gave us a night‚??s stay at the Inn on The Quay.¬† The reception area was nicely decorated for Christmas.¬† The staff at reception were gracious and friendly.¬† We were provided underground parking and a Wi-Fi code before making our way to the room on the 8th floor.¬† We got lucky and had a view of the Fraser River with the tug boats moored and the quay boardwalk.¬† Sadly though, the windows are in dire... Well, it all started with my wife going over to stay for a course that she was enrolled in through her work, unfortunately she came down with a very bad stomach flu that caused her unable to leave her room, i received a flustered text saying she needs fluids and she is in rough shape and cant leave. So reluctantly i called the front desk to speak with a manager to see if she could help as i was on the island at the time, she was so sweet and kind her name is Michelle, she saved the day and broug... My second stay at the Quay. Situated on the water in a rougher part of town. Sometimes have to wait for train to go by. Dont let that bother you though. Great hotel. Rooms are clean and modern at a great price. Hotel restaurant is good also and reasonably priced. Other bars and restaurants available steps away. 10 mins from JIBC. Will stay again.

Hotel is clean and easy to navigate. Water vending available on each level and elevator access (although one was undergoing maintenance at the time). The rooms themselves are clean, spacious and modern all with a balcony with spectacular views over the Fraser river. Front of house staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and often booked a taxi service on my behalf. The adjacent restaurant, the Boathouse has a great and varied seafood and steak menu at reasonable prices. Overall a very pleasant... Read more
