My first business trip ever outside the UK and my travel anywhere outside Europe! W Montreal was fabulous, great customer service, modern clean room, and I had a great time. The area was nice even though it was a Financial District - plenty of restaurants, shops, places to visit - I just didn't have long enough!

We stayed here recently. I've been to Montreal a number of times but this is the first time I'd stayed at the W. I would not stay again, but this is mainly because this is not the type of hotel that I enjoy staying at. If you want a hotel to have a bachelor party at, or feel like you are on the strip in Vegas, this is the hotel for you. The rooms were fantastic. Clean, nice decor, good design, comfortable beds. The biggest issue I had with our room (and the hotel in general) was the noise. We... Read more

Hotel real run poorly. I have been a SPG member and have been to this hotel before. Something changed. Call downstairs for anything and you are lucky if anyone delivers anything is under a hour. Was told multiple times they did not have enough staff to service my needs. I had a suite and was up all night from people screaming on the patio. I gave it 2 stars vs 1 because they room keys did work ... Got to like the little thinks since you cant get good service or a good nights rest .

beautiful room. It was like a loft, floor to ceiling windows. We were in town for a visit to the american consulate for a final immigration interview. They left us snacks in our room as we were getting in late, and were so helpful in getting us where we needed to go for the prep for the interview, medical apt, and even helped helped us get a passport out of the car last minute. Fantastic service and room

I received an email introduction for a hotel concierge a week prior to my visit. I inquired where I might be able to buy distilled water nearby for my cpap. We stayed in the W Hotel for 1 night only as we travelled up from New York earlier than planned and our original hotel could not extend our room for 1 night. The W hotel couldn't be nicer, we arrived late at night, the club was in full swing (which is part of the hotel), the staff were very helpful and they could see we were very tired so they put us on a higher floor so the music wouldn't disturb us. The room was very nice and had everything we wanted. Breakfast in the morning was funky (it lik... Read more

It is a an edgy, young hotel. Service is great. It isn't for everyone. The bar music is loud. Don't expect the relaxing feeling that you would like to get when you walk in to the lobby late on a Friday night - it's a party spot. We were on the 3rd floor in a "marvelous room" - we didn't hear the noise but I was worried. The room itself was decent sized and well designed.

The hotel is located across the street from Square Victoria. Walking distance to great restaurants, old town etc. The hotel is very contemporary. Room are beautiful and large, spacious open concept feel. There is a club atmosphere on weekends. If you want quiet be sure to not get a room on atrium side of hotel. The EAT restaurant is amazing, great staff, food. Special acknowledgement to Elgin.

Location wise it is tough to beat the W, within walking distance of most major spots down-town Montreal. Was there on business this time and had exceptional service. The hotel is always clean and trendy. Was raining on my way out to a day of meetings and was handed an umbrella on my way out. They really pay attention to detail. The rooms are very nice and modern. I usually don't sleep well outside of my own bed, have to say that this was the best sleep I've had in a long time!

I am a frequent returning guest and from the outset, Carole at Guest Liasons was superb in connecting with me beforehand in terms of arrivals and needs. Danika at front desk was a delight to speak to and very courteous and so was Catherine as always!! The restaurant lunch menu was great along with the staff and the overall vibe of the hotel is a breath of fresh air! Look forward to returning very soon - well done and keep up the excellent work.

Bunch of us were here earlier this month. This is a low key W compare to some others I have been to. The thing that makes this place different then other Ws is the staff. Everyone in the staff is very well trained and highly personable. The location is really good as well. I would skip the food here. Try Holders (zagat rated) nearby.

We were upgraded to a Wow suite and Wow is the perfect word for it. We really found all the staff so helpful, including Francoise, our friendly and funny maid. We live in a hotel and travel often, mostly with Starwood, so service is something we're accustomed to. Like most W hotels, this has great style and high design. Rooms are VERY small with a view of a business high rise where they can see everything. There's NO lighting so good luck ironing or trying to do makeup. Restaurants and room service was great. We booked a fabulous room from September 5 to 7. Two days before we arrived we got an email from the guest liaison. The team provided us Caroline Khangi's email who is the W Insider if you need help in dining, entertainment, etc. So I emailed her hoping to get a respond on where to dine for awesome Montreal cuisine. Very modern, very tipically W , this is a very nice hotel, with a very good location oposite to Victoria Square and The Metropolitain ( subway). It has easy access to the histĂłrical and touristic sites The rooms have a good size and nice furniture

Impeccable accommodations, but the highlight was the hotel restaurant..outstanding! We arrived late and didn't know the city well so opted to eat at the hotel. Truly one of the finest meals and beat service I've experienced ever.

No Zika - Check! Clean & Safe Location - Check! Great Food - Check! Lots of Activities - Check! Overall, Montreal checks all the boxes for a great vacation, especially when celebrating with a pregnant wife. The W Montreal had great service, awesome breakfast downstairs, and perfect location on the STM for getting around the city. Also nearby restaurants we're superb and offered great variety. 10/10 would return in a heartbeat.

It's an updated W, located across the street from the Victoria Square metro station and a 5 minute walk to the river and the Old Port. Great location!! It's what you would expect design-wise and the in-hotel restaurant, Eat, is full of street art - which mimics the real streets of Montreal. The finishes are all nice, the place is clean, the bed is wonderful. I was lucky to score an upgrade to a bigger room with a view of Victoria Square. The amenities are all Bliss and basic in terms of lotio... Read more

This past week my husband and I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at the W to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we drove up to the front door , we knew we were in excellent hands.Absolutely everyone from the valet drivers, to the front desk (thank you Josh for your kindness), to the concierge ( Marielle-who was so professional and helpful with her suggestions), to the morning staff at E.A.T., to the house keeping staff , went out of their way to welcome us.They truly are a c...
