This has become our favorite hotel when visiting Montreal. Staff is very friendly, Rooms are very nice and the food is excellent. Just a block away from the Bell Center. Ask for a city view room, see photos.

I see they have just renovated the rooms. I stayed here in March 2009. The rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked in I was given an upgrade and the room looked out onto the city and had a really large window to enjoy the city view. Very close to the Belle Centre. Walking distance to the mall, St. Catherine's street shopping district. Actually, there is a staircase off of the lobby to go into the underground tunnel system which is only 15-20 minutes to the Bell Centre. Very hand... Read more

The location was superb- walking distance to St. Catherine Street and all its shops, the Bell Centre, Vieux Montreal and many central Montreal sights and restaurants. It was a 5 minute walk from the bus station for tours and for anything further afield, it was on the Metro, reached by a downstairs lift.

My stay at this hotel was a good experience. The room had a nice view of the city and the staff was cordial. There were plenty of restaurants to chose from within an easy walk. The only item in the room that was not extremely clean was the shower walls and a slow drain.

We had a double room on the 25th floor with a City view. Overall the Hotel is very nice and very well situated with direct access to the metro and underground. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. It's a little bit dated, but still very comfortable and nice. The view from the room was very nice as the windows set this hotel apart from any other. We stayed two nights and were lucky to have snow on our second day. There is a park just in front of the hotel which made for a great outi... Read more

I chose this hotel because it was connected to the Underground City. After Place Bonaventure there is nothing. The food in the restaurant was very expensive and not to our taste. The wine is highway robbery- $60 for an Italian Pinot Grigio is quite high. The concierge was very nice, booking us a day tour of Montreal and dinner at Ferreira. Had to take a taxi to get downtown. Breakfast was $50 for two. My hash browns were smashed tater tots drenched in grease. The chef said it was the bacon that ... Read more

We stayed here in January for a hockey game at the Bell Centre. It was such a close walk, we didn't even need our jackets. The room was very nice, not extravagant but clean with a nice bathroom. Parking is paid (about $25) but I believe this is the norm for all of downtown Montreal. We ordered room service breakfast which was delicious and came right on time! Definitely recommend staying here especially for a night at the Bell Centre.

We were in this hotel in June just in time wen jazz festival in Montreal was held and this hotel is about 3 minute walking to the festival place. Other 10-15 minutes walking and you are in old City and St. Lawrence river. Hotel is very ok, profesional stuff and great breakfast what is important for Europians when they are in North America. Also good value for money.

Loved the ambience, the staff, the location. Gym is well-equipped. Pool is small. Loved loved loved the concierge lounge! Felt like being in an old English library (complete with books to borrow). Warm and cozy. I had no issues with crowds, or lack of hot breakfast: the cheese, meats, yogurt, breads ,pastries and cereals were enough to satisfy. Elevators were fast, which was important, as I was on the 33rd floor.

Perfect location for what we wanted to do. Traveled to Montreal by train. Train station is only 1 1/2 blocks from hotel, nice short walk. Another short walk to the Bell Centre where we attended an NHL game; Canadiens vs Bruins. The Habs won!! Booked a Concierge room and had access to the lounge for snacks and breakfast. Worked out perfect! Very comfortable bed. Friendly, accommodating staff. Requested a late check out as our train was not leaving until 4:00. No problem.
