The hotel is located next to the train station and the expressway system that brings out out to the airport quite easily (if you aren't in rush hour). There is also indoor access to the subway system, which is quite convenient. The check-in service was a little slow, but that appeared to be luck of the draw, as other front-desk personnel were processing visitors much more quickly. Once that was out of the way, though, the rest of the stay was trouble-free, and very pleasant. The fitness room... Read more

Only good thing about this hotel is location. Would not recommend it. One girl on the front desk was very friendly and helpful other than that it seemed like they were just there because they had to be. The rooms were dirty and dated. Very expensive, all you are paying for is the location because the accommodations are not worth the price.

Perfect location for a hockey game or event at Bell Center. Great bar, with great food. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. About 15-20 minute walk to Old Town. Only 2 blocks from Bell Center. I've been to Montreal several times and this is the best location and quality hotel I've had.

Stayed here twice. The 747 airport bus stops at Rue Peel - it's an easy walk to the hotel. It is also close to the Central Station to catch VIA Rail Canada trains. The employees are courteous and professional, rooms clean and spacious. The PATH is accessible from an elevator, but there are steps to navigate when you exit the elevator from the hotel, so if you're dragging a bag I'd consider walking down the street to the train station entrance. The hotel is indeed downtown, but I admit that I... Read more

Fairly decent hotel in centre of Montreal with decent access to most parts of the town. The room was clean and comfortable and the facilities were fine. The breakfast facilities were good and the atmosphere pleasant. Probably could do a bit more to make you feel at hotel as it is a big and busy hotel. But overall ok.

Very convenient in winter as you can leave the hotel and go take the Metro without even a jacket! Elevator brings you straight to the underground city where you can shop dine and take the Metro even walk to Saint Catherine. We arrived early and room was ready, very fast and friendly check in. Room: clean, nice view a bit outdated but not a deal breaker. comfortable bed and pillow, try to get a room away from the elevators as it can be a bit annoying. We only stayed for one night but would ... Read more

We went to Montreal to see Phil Collins in concert. Not only was the hotel flawless, but it has underground transportation to the concert venue! It was within walking to everything as well, and is situated in what I consider to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

I see they have just renovated the rooms. I stayed here in March 2009. The rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked in I was given an upgrade and the room looked out onto the city and had a really large window to enjoy the city view. Very close to the Belle Centre. Walking distance to the mall, St. Catherine's street shopping district. Actually, there is a staircase off of the lobby to go into the underground tunnel system which is only 15-20 minutes to the Bell Centre. Very hand... Read more
