Lovely location, just a quick walk to the waterfront, and to interesting city sights. Restaurant was really good, too, as was the manager's reception. Wonderful staff at every encounter. Fantastic bed, except that the sheets were too short! WE fixed it, but it was a little weird that housekeeping made the bed with about a foot of exposed mattress pad at the end of the bed.....

Being close to the church, chinatown, and old montreal, the location is great. So many fun things to do within minutes walk. The suite is clean and roomy. My wife and kids just love the hot tub in the washroom. The complimentary breakfeast is good too. Free drinks are offered for dinner as well, though we skipped for chinese food. Above all this, the price is even lower than many other inns in the area.

Stayed in Montreal after a business trip. Thought I got the deep soaking bathtub for my price. Disappointed that I did not as it was the only reason I booked the room. Great Location. Great staff. Staying at the hotel on Thursday, June 2. Since it was raining we decided to eat at the hotel. We sat for over 20 minutes with five servers in the restaurant -- including some walking past our table -- and no one cared. Most servers were standing around talking and the others looked to be pouting or in a bad mood. We went to the bar ourselves to get drinks. Still, no one notices and at this point there are other people also waiting and wondering if they are supposed to go in the kitchen to make... Read more

I reserved two nights here in March - one on Hilton points, and the next as a standard booking. Check in was a simple process, but then there were a number of things that went sideways. For full disclosure, the hotel did address my concerns, but they were numerous. Location for the hotel can't be beat. However, the rooms in the hotel are dated. It was clearly built as a condo and switched to a hotel, and so the finishes aren't up to taking the abuse of daily guests. The furniture is beat up and ... Read more

Hotel is in an excellent location. If I had to book again I would pick the Westin or Intercontinental which are right next door. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen. I had no room to move and when I dropped the little bottle of shampoo I had to open the door to be able to bend over and pick it up. A third of the room was taken up by a giant bathtub, which I doubt anyone uses. The AC unit didnt work. Each night the temperature rose to 25 degrees which made it very hard to sleep. T... Read more

It's an Embassy Suites, so you know what to expect. The location is good, being on the boundary between the "old town" and the more modern downtown where, e.g., the Jazz Festival is. The breakfast area was pandemonium. To their credit, food was re-stocked very quickly, but it's a noisy place. I'm sure this is very dependent on the time: if you arrive early, I'm sure it's very nice and relaxing, but if you arrive near closing time as we did, it's crowded. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had an issue that took about 2 hours to resolve and left me feeling that this Hilton is not as good as the others. People were nice. Room was nice except they do not tell you that you have to actually order the plates, utensils, etc. for the room. This has not been my experience at the ones in the States so I did not know. The jets on the big whirlpool did not work. They offered to send someone up but I was already in the tub. The free food was not as extensive as some of the others I h... Read more

We stayed in the Premium Custom King. Large rooms, the premium rooms are on the 11th floor. We like to be high up. Weather permitting it is much calmer to sit in the outside dinning area. People seem to run around in a frenzy to get to the food. Same with happy hour, nicer to sit outside. Seating i... Read more

Staff here is friendly but untrained (quoted incorrect parking rate and didn't activate pass), and the management's top priority is herding people thru. Breakfast (which ends at 9:30 am) and afternoon drinks are so disorganized ever a four year old could do it better. Result is that lines are long, empty tables sit uncleaned and all you want to do is leave. Yes it's free but it should also be enjoyable and well managed. ū???ū??Ľū???ū??Ľū???ū??Ľ from us!

The room was huge and very comfortable with several amenities (full size refrigerator, double sink, microwave, dining bar, in-room Jacuzzi, and fireplace to make the room stay quite pleasant.)
