As usual, this hotel was wonderful. The hotel was very clean, wonderful staff and the décor was beautiful. Our room was rather large and very neat. The concierge was very helpful and provided a map of things to do while in Montreal and surprisingly we were able to accomplish everything in two days. The pool was nice and I must say I was happy that it was never crowded. Our stay here was wonderful and I will come again should I return to Montreal. The location is also a plus as it is downtown an... Read more

This was my first stay at this hotel and was quite pleased with the cleanliness of this establishment. The staff was very courteous, friendly and efficient. Each room has free coffee and bottled water (2 per day) Parking is available underground. Highly recommend.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and really like it. It's fairly new, or at least newly renovated, and as such the decor is crisp and contemporary. The rooms are a little toward the small size, but not too bad and the beds are quite comfy. The only problem I had was that on two of my stays fire alarms went off as false alarms, one in the morning, and the second time, it just kept going off all day, but neither time was it in the middle of the night. It has a nice pool with an adjacen... Read more

I visited this hotel for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The location is very close and easy to find off of the highway (if you are coming in from Rt. 10). It is only a few minute walk to Notre Dame/St. Paul Street in one direction and St. Catherine Street in the other. The parking was very easy and you don't have to drive into the traffic/cobblestone pedestrian areas to get there. Our room was very large and clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again while in ... Read more

We recently visited Montreal and stayed at the Courtyard downtown. Usually we find places that achieve that mix of luxury and boutique. Not words you'd use to describe a Courtyard. But a friend of ours had already booked there, so we decided to join him for our 3 night vacation - especially because it was so cheap. The Courtyard is located in a modern building in a great location, walking distance to old montreal, saint catherine, and mont royal - pretty much everything you'd want to hit in a... Read more

My husband and I recently stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We had read reviews and chose the Courtyard for it's central location as we wanted to see Old Montreal. The hotel itself was beautiful, everything is new and clear and we were very impressed with our room. However, we received nothing but horrible service from the moment we got there to the time we left. We had called ahead to say that we would be arriving before check in and was it possible to park there early even if our room w... Read more

This hotel is in a very central location for seeing Montreal. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Old Montreal and 15 minutes to the shopping on St. Catherine. The hotel staff are amazing - friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was quite nice and very clean. We had room service one night and it was just perfect - tasty and not expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was across the street from great shopping and with in walking distance of the old town and the main streets of the city. It was a short walk to the subway and there were fabulous restaurants nearby. The rooms were large and comfortable. the front desk was most helpful and getting a cab to the airport even at a very early hour was easy as the stand is outside.

My stay at this Courtyard has been every bit of excellent: from first walking in the door and checking in to simple things like calling to check on dining options, the team at this hotel has been excellent in every way: pleasant, helpful and as present or transparent as required. Top notch!

Stayed almost a week at this new Marriott and have to admit it's one of the nicest Marriott hotel and most modern one. Had a nice corner room on the 10 floor and I was concerned about the noise. It's very quiet. Decor is nice and the staff is excellent Will come back

The hotel is walking distance to just about everything. Stayed there for 5 days. The room was clean, modern, wifi was free and easy to connect to.Loved the size of the shower. Had a room on the 9th floor overlooking the major Street. There was construction going on next door but we really didn't hear it. The concierge was extremely helpful, front desk as well. Parking was easy. Paid per day but could go in and out as much as we wanted. Never really needed to take the car out as walking was tota... Read more

Courtyard is generally Marriott's middle of the road brand--solid, but uninspiring. Well, in Montreal at the Courtyard Downtown, they give the lie to this picture! This is a stunning hotel and fabulous value for the money. Gorgeous, modern, well equipped and friendly with pool, fitness, restaurant, coffee bar, and mini-market all under one roof, this is a traveler's dream. Don't expect super luxury--just clean, modern, efficient friendly service, great rooms, and a prime location minutes walk fr... Read more

This Courtyard was better than a few Marriotts I have stayed at. It's centrally located: we were steps away from the jazz fest on Catherine Street, and only a 10 minute walk to old Montreal. Would have been nice if my husband and I could have gotten a king bed, because we found the queen a bit small--but it seemed like a busy weekend with limited availability. The rooms were spacious and clean, no complaints.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful and modern with an outstanding staff!! Leonard A was the best in assisting us with our tours. Front staff including Tanaey and Mai-linh were such a great help with our room reservation. Very polite and friendly staff. Manager Alexander was very professional. Where should I begin From the moment I stepped into the hotel it was a pleasant experience, greeted rite away by a young lady who explained everything to the "T", professional, pleasant and smiling which really sets the tone of your stay, she even followed me out in the resin to grab my license plate number for the parking registration. We stayed here for 4 nights on a family vacation, and had a very good experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very well situated just a block off St Catherine's St and only a few blocks walk from Old Montreal. The front desk staff are welcoming and friendly, and the concierge staff are always hovering ready to assist in answering questions or recommending a place to go or eat. The hotel room is new and the location is good. However some of the front desk staffs need more training. When I checked in, the hotel staff was rude. She first asked me to show the AAA card because I booked a AAA rate. I showed her my card, then she complained my fingers covered the name. I just handed her the card for her to verify the name. To be honest, I booked AAA rate through different Marriott hotels at least 100 times, not at once any other check in staff questioned me like a thi... Read more

Recent trip with Grandkids was made all the more perfect by our stay at this property. Greeted cheerfully at the rear motor entrance by Bellman/Concierge Sebastian started out our stay. At check in, I learned that my travel agent (unnamed) had made an error and booked the required room arrangements incorrectly. Needed a King Bed with adjacent two Queens and was advised that no King Rooms were available. I should note that there was a jazz festival ongoing across the street and several other majo... Great location next to Chinatown and bordering Old Montreal. New, clean, and roomy hotel! Nice lobby: very upscale compared to your typical Courtyard hotels. Good value as well. Convenient secured underground parking accessible with the room key. They should just disclose this at the time of booking. Only problems encountered were a couple of items on the service side: 1) the rooms were not cleaned and made up at 5pm after being out all day. We had to call Housekeeping numerous times: first time... Read more

Friendly staff, new updated facilities. Very clean and efficient rooms that offer Marriott amenities. The health club is better then most as it offers highend equipment, pool and steam - they need to offer towels outside of room towels. Overall, this is a top Marriott pick for the old Montreal area - walking distance to china town.

I will most definitely stay here again when next in Montreal. It is in a great location . It's a mere 5 to 6 minute walk to old Montreal and the underground city. This was a great location for being able to park the car and walk to Old Town Montreal and Chinatown. The underground parking on site was convenient and secure (there is a fee, but it was worth it for us). The room was very clean (we were on the 6th floor), and the bathroom was nice (large shower, ample bathroom space). The blackout curtains worked well. There was some noise from a jazz venue half a block away, and the air conditioner seemed noisy, but all in all it was a good room. We had ... Read more

Checked in at 10 PM. Room very nicely kept and a great view. It was quite warm so we turned the temperature dow to the lowest it would go (16 celsius) and headed out to a street party on the advice of a very good concierge in the lobby.
