As usual, this hotel was wonderful. The hotel was very clean, wonderful staff and the décor was beautiful. Our room was rather large and very neat. The concierge was very helpful and provided a map of things to do while in Montreal and surprisingly we were able to accomplish everything in two days. The pool was nice and I must say I was happy that it was never crowded. Our stay here was wonderful and I will come again should I return to Montreal. The location is also a plus as it is downtown an... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel several times and really like it. It's fairly new, or at least newly renovated, and as such the decor is crisp and contemporary. The rooms are a little toward the small size, but not too bad and the beds are quite comfy. The only problem I had was that on two of my stays fire alarms went off as false alarms, one in the morning, and the second time, it just kept going off all day, but neither time was it in the middle of the night. It has a nice pool with an adjacen... Read more

I visited this hotel for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The location is very close and easy to find off of the highway (if you are coming in from Rt. 10). It is only a few minute walk to Notre Dame/St. Paul Street in one direction and St. Catherine Street in the other. The parking was very easy and you don't have to drive into the traffic/cobblestone pedestrian areas to get there. Our room was very large and clean and the staff was very friendly. We recently visited Montreal and stayed at the Courtyard downtown. Usually we find places that achieve that mix of luxury and boutique. Not words you'd use to describe a Courtyard. But a friend of ours had already booked there, so we decided to join him for our 3 night vacation - especially because it was so cheap. The Courtyard is located in a modern building in a great location, walking distance to old montreal, saint catherine, and mont royal - pretty much everything you'd want to hit in a... Read more

My husband and I recently stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We had read reviews and chose the Courtyard for it's central location as we wanted to see Old Montreal. This hotel is in a very central location for seeing Montreal. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Old Montreal and 15 minutes to the shopping on St. Catherine. The hotel staff are amazing - friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was quite nice and very clean. We had room service one night and it was just perfect - tasty and not expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was across the street from great shopping and with in walking distance of the old town and the main streets of the city. It was a short walk to the subway and there were fabulous restaurants nearby. The rooms were large and comfortable. the front desk was most helpful and getting a cab to the airport even at a very early hour was easy as the stand is outside.

This Courtyard was better than a few Marriotts I have stayed at. It's centrally located: we were steps away from the jazz fest on Catherine Street, and only a 10 minute walk to old Montreal. Would have been nice if my husband and I could have gotten a king bed, because we found the queen a bit small--but it seemed like a busy weekend with limited availability. The rooms were spacious and clean, no complaints.

What a great location! Staff, food, room were all excellent. The concierge provided great suggestions on tours. The "hop on hop off" bus tour is a must. One price for a two day pass. Check out Marc at the bar ??

We stayed in the Courtyard Montreal Downtown in September for a short 3 day trip. We were in Montreal for a Marathon and the used the extra days to explore a little. The hotel was very easy to get to from the airport and was located downtown. The staff was very friendly and they even gave us a late check out. Rooms were clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for a few days whilst in Montreal on business. It is a great hotel in a central location. The team were always willing to help and I got the Marriot service which I always receive when visiting Marriot Hotels.

Enjoyed very much the Marriott Downtown Montreal. Just a short walk from everything. Prices were great. Parking was affordable and our room was modern, large, and super clean. Staff to a person were kind and helpful. This will not be my last stay at the hotel.

Convenient downtown location 10 minutes walk from train station (gare) or chinatown rue dela chatere. Very clean modern decor with comfortable room and bed. Very efficient courteous service. Room cleaning is perfect and fast. Steak and seafood linguini were ok but did not provide steak knife. Airconditioning works well but a bit noisy, coffee/tea maker ok but tea spoon and scoop for ice not supplied. Daily bottled water x2 is a plus.

I had a very good stay at this hotel for a business trip. I personally failed to review the check out bill until about 4 days after I got home. There was a mistake and I was charged for something that didn't happen. After speaking with management, they resolved my issue quickly and kindly. Not only is this hotel is a great location, it's customer service is impeccable.

What I liked about this hotel is the quietness of the room. Despite having a room looking onto Rene Levesque it's shielded from the traffic noise. Peaceful sleeps! Shower water pressure was strong making daily showers more enjoyable....and awakening in the morning. I caught the check in clerk on a bad day and she was all business. No greeting, no welcome and no smiles. That's not common at many Marriott I have been to.

Well the customer service here was great, very very friendly, above and beyond expectation. This is a very beautiful, nicely updated, clean hotel, from the lobby all the way to my room, which was a corner room so I had 2 views. Also the hotel is in the perfect location, just steps away from shops and restaurants. The only issue i did run into was I could not get the steam room to work in the woman's change room, as well as the pool is quite shallow, and is looking out to a construction site, whe... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights while on vacation. The room was bigger than I expected. The hotel has on-site parking in a heated garage. You can get into the hotel without stepping outdoors. The location was perfect. It was a 15 minute walk to the Old Montreal/waterfront area and even shorter to the shopping district on Rue St. Catherine. We walked to everything we wanted to do. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel. The service was outstanding and the food was good and it was less expensive... Read more

From the reception staff and check in until we left the service was fantastic. Rooms very clean bed very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel. Nothing was to much trouble from recommending restaurants to hiring a car .

The hotel was simple to locate. Check was quick and parking garage was onsite. Once the car was parked the elevator took you right your floor. Had a room at the back of the hotel with a nice view of a city street of townhouse/apartments, some historic. The room was very clean upon arrival cleaned again on our second day to the same level. The temperature controls were not great, the air/heat unit would automatically turn back to a preset temperature when we left the room. Could be readjust... Read more

Right from the start we received exceptional service at this hotel. As soon as we pulled up to the courtyard entrance (this is at the back of the hotel not at the front) we had someone walk over to our car to greet us. They explained where to check-in and where to park after we were done checking in. They kept watch of our car as we did this. The greeter was super friendly and professional. At check-in the girl was equally as helpful and polite, she even discovered that there was a better pr... Read more

Stayed for five nights. Rooms are very big, clean, with very comfortable beds. Marlee at the front desk checked us in. She was very friendly, professional and helpful. Free and fast wifi. There s a small Starbucks inside and a bigger one just around the corner. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from Old Montreal and the main shopping district. Across the street you ll find a reasonable size mall, with a good food court and a supermarket (IGA) Also, the 747 bus to and from the airport stop... Read more

The Courtyard was perfect, much to my delight it had a full bar and restaurant which is not found in Courtyard properties. The staff was outstanding, the food upscale and very tasty and the bar was very good.

We took a road trip to Montreal, and this hotel was a perfect fit for all of our needs. There is an exclusive underground parking lot available for a very affordable $25 CAD per night. The room was clean and comfortable and had a mini fridge. The room was also very quiet - there was construction going on right outside of our window, but we hardly noticed! The hotel itself is located on a very busy street, so the area is safe during all hours of the day. It is also about a 10 minute walk away fro... Read more

Staff is friendly and helpful and always ready to answer any questions and make recommendation for what to do where to eat etc. Room super clean, spacious and bes is comfy. The only downfall is the construction next doo but it did not trouble me much as i had earplugs to sleep. Its not the hotel either. This place is great. Will highly recommend it for future business trips that we come back to this place. Nothing negative at all to say.
