From the moment I was warmly welcomed to the calling of a taxi upon my departure, I felt comfortable and well-attended. This is a comfortable, well-maintained place to call home for a stay. I was there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed entering my cozy room at the end of a busy day of sight-seeing. The Auberge is across the street from an entrance to the Berri-Uqam subway station. A real convenience for me as I arrived by train and was able to catch the subway from the Bonaventure stop to Ber... Read more

We took a risk making a last minute reservation at the unknown Auberge Le Pomerol for a spontaneous weekend trip to Montreal. It was very easy to find, well lit and marked. We were warmly greeted by our name, by lovely, fun staff who immediately put us at ease. The secure on site parking was a super bonus! The reception area was dramatic and clean, with beautiful floor to ceiling draperies giving an old Hollywood Deco feel to the desk. The lounge area was inviting with the fireplace, comfy fu... I stayed here with my boyfriend in our own room and three other friends for the Osheaga music festival in July 2016. From the moment we arrived the staff was courteous and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and pointed out the metro accessible directly across the street. Every morning we awoke to picnic baskets hung outside our rooms with pastries, fruit, etc. It was a lovely way to start the day. The rooms were perfectly clean and tidy and although it wasn't an enormous... Read more

This is definitely a quaint inn, so do not expect the flourishes of a larger hotel, and I think that's a good thing! The rooms are spacious and charming- our bathroom was huge and included a luxurious soaking tub which was a welcome treat after a hot day perusing the streets of Montreal. The staff were welcoming and friendly, parking was easy, affordable, and safe, and we enjoyed the cute little breakfast basket (as noted, this is not necessarily a healthy breakfast nor a huge one, but we were o... This is a wonderful hotel with excellent service. I emailed them before my trip and they got back to me almost immediately. When I arrived the check in process was so simple and hassle free. The room was clean and neat! I didn't anticipate the free breakfast but that was good too. It's wonderfully situated, literally just across the street from the metro station.

I felt so cozy in this small but beautiful hotel. Our room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The details made the hotel. The picnic basket sent to your room with breakfast. If I wanted more, there was a breakfast room. The cozy fireplace area. The people are soooo nice and helpful. We felt very welcome in Montréal. We did not feel like we were in a big impersonal city. I would stay again.

Location excellent for train access-across the street- & Amtrak + Airport bus to downtown is just a few minutes walk away. When I booked the Hotel picture showed outdoor dining seating. I was surprised to find the restaurant had been turned into more accommodation. Staff , especially Jason & Chantelle, were very welcoming every day in the ultra tiny reception area that leads down to a small cosy sitting room with fireplace, computer, library & lots of tourist information, comfy chairs. I found t... Read more

An old-fashioned hotel with attentive and friendly staff from the reception to housekeeping. Quiet small hotel within walking distance of the heart of the city. Nice breakfast delivered in a basket. Good wifi.

There were no cookies. The cookies are a lie. Nice place otherwise. Breakfast basket included pastries, yogurt, jam, butter, juice, and a tiny little orange. Other breakfast items to be found in the kitchen. Peace.
