Loved this hotel! The staff was great for first timers in Montreal! It was right across the street from the Metro which was a saving grace for our trip! This is a small 27 room hotel but very well kept and a cute little home feel to it. They deliver a basket of breakfast to your door. They also have personal parking for $16 a day, so you can come and go as you please...it is WELL worth the money! Will stay again!

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is clean - no doubt about it but I am giving this low rating because the hotel didn't feel the need to let us know that they are renovating. We were woken up at 7 am by the loud noises of the workers. A few minutes later, there were constant, loud noises of drilling machines and smoke alarms going on and off. This was very annoying! I had booked the hotel a week ago via expedia and there was no mention of this work!! I had already rejected... Read more

We stayed at the Auberge Le Pomerol because we had an event at the UQ├?M and we wanted to stay close to the university. The hotel had clean and comfortable small rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful and they brought a nice breakfast to the room every morning in a nice basket. Considering the location ( the Latin Quarter) full of bars and night activity, the hotel has a very good price and I highly recommend it if you want to stay in that area. My favorite area in Montreal, though, is the M... Read more

It was a very nice hotel. We liked basket-breakfast attached to the front of a room. Very clean. It was located on main subway intersection .It was very easy to cover whole Montreal from the location. Will come again.

I chose this for a 4 night stay for a birthday vacation. I picked it because of the generally positive reviews, convenient location, continental breakfast and wifi. I was not disappointed, and I found my stay here outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to most friends if they were visiting. I had an economy room, which is small, but it was complete and adorable. Some of the small details made it seem luxurious, such as the interesting light fixtures and the flat scr... Read more

We chose this hotel for our anniversary vacation, so we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that our room had a jacuzzi! The location was great - steps to a metro station that connected to 3 lines, meaning that we were only minutes from every location we wanted to see while in Montreal. Also blocks away from great sites like St. Denis for excellent food options, Rue St Catherine for a fun pedestrian street, and we took a good walk up to Parc La Fontaine on a perfect Saturday evening. I spent two nights in this hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. True hospitality. The hotel is located on a quiet street, steps away from a subway station. Room decor a bit old-fashioned, but who cares when it's quiet, friendly, with a good breakfast basket delivered to the room (and good wifi)!

My husband and I loved this hotel for several reasons. 5 stars for the service teamL - helpful, friendly, personable. We needed orientation to the city for an evening, and Jason sent us on a perfect walk. You can open the windows, and it is quiet (we were on the back side). Easy walking distance to the old city and the new. I liked the decor - modern and comfortable. Also, this hotel is reasonably priced.

Stayed in the executive room. View from the room is the rear parking lot. Good comfortable king size bed. Very clean property. Very good service. Everything is high quality. Though the hotel was built in this millennium it looks s bit dated. The best thing about the hotel is its breakfast basket!!

I'm usually very forgiving of places we stay because I'm easy going, so my first impression was that the place was a little tired but it was conveniently located, easy to get to from the motorway and parking was reasonably cheap so it was OK. It cost more than the other 5 places we had stayed at on this trip (including central Boston & central Toronto) but after all the good reviews I'd read I was looking forward to it. The room (309) was quite small (but I've had smaller) with a curtained area ... Read more

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a few days. I was well maintained and safe. It`s location was conveniently located to many attractions. The breakfast baskets being delivered to your room was such a neat experience. They do not cater to gluten free diets, however, I appreciated how accommodating they were to my dietary needs. I needed to bring a few of my own food items and they ensured me a room with a fridge to store my goodies! The staff is so friendly and always smiling. The r... Read more

I would definitely stay here again the location was very good. Easily caught the 747 shuttle from the airport and walked about 2 blocks to the hotel. The main metro hub with access to all 3 lines was literally across the street. Also across the street a grocery and drug store. Good neighborhood with restaurants and bars a short walk. I would probably have giving this a 3.5 review if possible because it may lack some amenities that 4 star hotels have. The room was very quiet and of a decent... Read more

My friend and I stayed three nights here. Great location, the 747 bus to airport, Orleans bus to Quebec City, and 3 metro lines are all just 2-3 blocks away. And there is a shopping center on the corner of Rue St. Hubert and Rue St. Catherine, with food court and supermarket, We also appreciated the kitchen downstairs with its afternoon snack selection. It was nice coming back to the hotel late in the evening and be able to have a cup of hot water and something to nib on right away. Now the do... Read more

A great place to stay. At first arrival I was nervous about small room, bad lighting, hideous bed covering and construction outside. But a few minutes mucking with lighting options, covering bed spread with an extra blue blanket, hiding the pillows and I was good to go. Super location. Very friendly staff on first and second shift. Rooms are clean and of decent size for 1 or 2 guests. Sheets and blanket are clean, but not of great quality. This is an easy fix for management given there are only 33 rooms. R├ęnovations are almost complete, so construction noise will soon disappear. Breakfast and evening snacks are very good.

Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Quaint and cozy hotel centrally located with friendly and attentive staff. Though the room was small, my daughter and I comfortably slept on our memory-foam bed and had enough room to sit comfortably and enjoy the continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning. Nice room plenty of space. Easy parking at rear of hotel. Not too far to walk to main attractions in city. Lovely breakfast hamper, ate in room one day and took to dining area the second. We were warned about the renovation work but were somewhat surprised to be woken at 7.30am by drilling.

A true and total sense of ambivalence regards my stay. In the one sense the destination itself is great and welcoming. HOWEVER, upon my second night I fell down on my bed, after a long day only to fall into a NEEDLE in my pillow. This in unacceptable and caused severe amounts of discomfort to my stay. Truly disheartening.

This is a very nice European-style hotel. As such, the rooms are on the small side but very clean and comfortable. The staff are uniformly friendly and helpful, and the place is quite charming in a Montreal kind of way. The hotel room itself was very clean and had a view out to the street. All staff was friendly and helpful especially to someone who didn't speak any French what so ever. Everything was neat and tidy and despite obvious renovations going on, I was never disturbed by it. Located in an excellent area with restaurants of all types only a few blocks away. I booked an executive room to ensure a good space, I wasn't disappointed. Plenty of room. The decor I found a bit drab all brown and beige, a splash of colour would be nice. Only one bedside light so not conveient at night having to get out of bed to switch lights off. The room was very small but designed to maximize the space. The room we occupied-102-was just remodeled one month ago. It was immaculate. The bathroom was the size of a cruise ship bathroom.
