This hotel feels like it should be in a movie, and probably has been in several! The lobby is really charming in the way its designed and its decor, and in my opinion is the highlight of the entire hotel. The bar area, couches with a fireplace is very inviting and a really nice place to unwind after a fun day of skiing or activities. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant, which was a great fine dining experience with excellent service. The quality of the food was also notable. I had the pe... Read more

We rented last minute and read the reviews - but took a chance. Glad we did, great dollar value for a main floor suite. Two 15 year boys, our dog and us. Worked great - for all of us. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Its exactly what we should expect for a Quebec Lodge - old style, wood beams, very nice. Great dollar value based on others - free shuttle to the hill. The front desk staff was great and helpful. The pool staff could lighten up a bit and make it more fun. Too bad that they... Read more

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the experience. Like the location being so close to the ski runs. Though the front desk and cleaning staff were very polite and efficient the rest is not worth the price we paid. Tried to get a family room but instead got 2 dbl beds. A cot is additional 30$ What couples sleep in a dbl anymore? Never mind our boys. The pillows were awful and limited quantity. Only one medium dresser for clothes. Just not enough room for a family. There is no good sto... Read more

Our recent March break stay was nothing short of excellent. I was worried given the mixed reviews recently, but happy to report that the lake view suite we booked was everything we expected. I requested a 3rd floor room and received room 312. It was close to elevator and had gorgeous view. Everything in the room, including full kitchen, was very clean. Yes, furnishings are rustic, but it added to lodge feel. I would highly recommend booking a suite. The Murphy bed was perfect for the kids and th... Read more

Stayed at the Grand Lodge for 2 nights starting 05/09/16 as part of a business trip. The suites are very nice with fantastic views out onto the lake. As it was the shoulder season between the Winter and Summer seasons the hotel was empty and we had the entire place to ourselves. This meant the place was very quiet and serene. Lots of great places to hike nearby. The restaurant onsite had great selections and great food. A nice treat after living in the city is to enjoy the night skies with minim... Read more

The view of the lake from our room is nothing short of fantastic! The beach is great and plenty of space if you want to find a quieter spot. The staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the room. The carpet and furniture need to be replaced.....desperately. Both are riddled with stains and just look dirty, made me want to keep my sandals on at all times. Although the bed was nice.

Our suite was very clean and had a nice, rustic appearance. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous. There is free water sports equipment on the lake. Breakfast was great, with a chef available to make eggs, waffles and pancakes customized to your taste. It was 18$/person. We asked for a quiet calm room and that is what we got. My only complaint is concerning the plumbing in the rooms. The water did not drain quickly enough in the shower and sink, causing it to accumulate and forcing us to turn it off ... Read more

This charming lodge is ideally located in Mont Tremblant with a large balcony giving. a picturesque view of the lake across the street. The lake was a smooth as glass ideal for kayaking or paddleboards that are available at a reasonable cost. Whether a walk or cycle down the dirt road along lakes and country homes or through the numerous trails , you will be satisfied. A convenient regular shuttle service takes you into the village of Tremblant which is 5-7 minutes away with regular and conven... Read more

Thursday to Sunday golf getaway. Accommodation was a condo style room with kitchen so we were able to make our own breakfasts. Rooms are somewhat dated but very clean and with two bathrooms. View of the lake and mountains was spectacular. Hotel arranged tee times at La Belle, La Bête and Le Géant, three magnificent courses. We ate out at Mont Tremblant resort and St Jovite and were disappointed both times. Decided to try Le Grand Lodge dining facilities and had two perfect meals. Should have e... Read more

Le Grand Lodge ‚?? July long weekend 2016 We booked a long weekend at Le Grand Lodge to celebrate my granddaughter‚??s 14th birthday and graduation from Grade 8 for the July long weekend. We all had an amazing time, and will return with the whole family next time. First impressions of that Lobby were amazing; it was everything we expected, and more. Large open space built from huge logs, with big comfy couches and chairs and a big fireplace opened out to views of the lake. Truly beautiful, and... Read more

We found Le Grand Lodge by accident through an internet site 5 years ago--and have been coming back ever since. For about $150 USD a night, my husband and I get a suite that's like a small apartment. There's a master bedroom with full bath, a kitchen with everything for cooking, living room area (with Murphy bed if needed), a gas fireplace, a deck overlooking Lac Ouimet, and a second full bath. "High season" here is winter/ski season, so the summer rates are low and it tends to not be crowded... Read more

Love this place. Located on Lac Ouimet (10 minutes from St. Jovite one way and 10 minutes from Mont Tremblant the other way). Walking trails, beach, Kayaks, canoes etc..., nightly fire for roasting marshmellos, pool, hot tub, exercise room etc... and a staff that always makes you feel welcome. You would have to be odd not to be able to unwind in this place. Even kids can be sent off to the games rooms for your peace and quite. Many rooms are equipped with full kitchen which is very helpful o... Read more

the condos are not very big, but they do sleep 6 people, one closed bedroom King bed, one sofa bed and one Murphy bed. The place was spotless. 2 bathrooms, one full and the other has a huge shower.. Housekeeping, refills on necessity, fresh towels, daily. The staff was just wonderful, they also have room service (BONUS)

We just returned from a very nice vacation at Le Grand Lodge. We stayed in a one bedroom suite - a family of 6 - and it is quite a nice experience. The lake is stunning, the beach is very comfortable - with the towel service there, free badminton, boats, what not to love! The indoor pool and hot tub were fun too, and they have the pool table and ping pong for the rainy day. The room was clean, the room service (cleaning) was excellent. THe location is great for a nature vacation - swimming, wal... Read more

Le Grand Lodge has great bones, but it's tired. We had a very nice stay. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. We were there for a family wedding and the staff was great. The lodge must have been very nice at one time, but it is showing it's age. The room was nice and at one time must have been very nice. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, perhaps well-worn and not too pricey given the resort area, this could be for you. We ate the buffet breakfast each day and the food was... Awesome view from the balcony! Room was clean and staff was very friendly. We enjoyed all of the activities at the beach: kayaking, canoeing, peddleboat. The swimming was great, the water is very clear and the beach is very sandy, including in the water. We also enjoyed the indoor pool. Exceptional value. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at Le Grand Lodge and we had really a great time there. The staff was very professional, friendly and smiling. Our room was big, with a beautiful view on the lake. There was a fully-equipped kitchen, TV, A/C, a fireplace and free wifi. The furniture were a little bit old, but still comfy and clean. There was an interior swimming pool (super nice), a hot tub and a very small fitness center (only 2 treadmills and a bike), but all was great to use. The hotel is ... Read more

We returned to The Grand Lodge this fall after an absence of a number of years. We had a suite overlooking the lake. The suite was very comfortable and well equipped and the view over the lake stunning. I have noted earlier comments that the hotel is a bit tired. We thought the public areas are exactly what you expect from a country lodge and not at all tired. I can understand how some of the furnishings in the suite might appear worn to some - we think they reflect the country lodge ambience a... Read more

Booked one romantic night for me and my wife adding a bottle of champagne with strawberries. As we get to the hotel, no one at the reception, no champagne or strawberries and no cold water at the sink. Management said: "Sorry..." I would not recommend it and next time I will stay some place else.

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful Canadian Lodge during the winter school recess. It was a superior vacation. The Lodge is so accommodating: very nice Lake view suite, good bar, sauna, indoor pool. It's very close to the Mont Tremblant ski resort (free shuttle from the Lodge every 30 minutes). The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We had no any problems during our stay. We will come back definitely...

Went for a wedding, stayed 4 days at this picture perfect lodge. Rustic exterior, beautiful interiors, great cuisine, recommend the French Toast at breakfast. A beautiful beach is a must for families in the summer, campfires and marshmallows to toast at the end of day.
