We loved staying at Le Grand Lodge with our extended family. The main lobby was spacious, comfortable and welcoming with delicious choices in the dining room. There was a convenient shuttle to the ski lifts for downhill fans and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing available nearby at the gorgeous Domaine St. Bernard.

We stayed for 3 nights. First time at this hotel. Great location, close to the ski hills. The lobby is welcoming and warm as were the staff at the Reception desk. The rooms are very dated. The couch fabric was faded and frayed. The ceiling paint was peeling. There were 4 of us and required all available sleeping options, bed, Murphy bed and pullout couch. The couch mattress was so old that we asked for a second to place on top so that you couldn't feel the springs below, which they kindly an... Read more

We planned to stay here for three nights! We left after the first night. Firstly, the noise of kids playing ball in the hallway was one thing. At 12. , 2am, 3am we had to call security because the people next door were partying. We got no sleep at all. It ruined our family vacation and my birthday. We will never return to this place. It was dated, overcrowded. There was no room to swim in the pool. In fairness to the hotel they did give us a full refund and the security guy did try hard to stop... Read more

What a view! Overlooks Lac Ouimet with gorgeous views. We didn't stay here this time but definitely will next time Beautiful lobby with huge plush chairs around a wood burning fireplace The motif is rustic and beautiful. Met some folks staying there and they were very pleased with the rooms. Easy access to the ski slopes. Very friendly service

It's a well-run hotel, with personable, helpful employees. It's a comfortable historic place. The giant fireplace is gorgeous, as is waking up to the sun rising over the icy lake. We're happy to have stayed here. Some of the furniture is old, indeed. But it's a ski lodge. We didn't mind. What ski lodge doesn't have a few dings? The room for improvement would be in the cleanliness of the hot tubs and steam room, and in the shuttle, which stops at 5 pm. It would have been nice to go out at nigh... Read more

We spent a long weekend at this lodge and loved it! We arrived late and were greeted warmly. The lodge has a charming foyer area, with a nice open bar and great view of the lake. Our room was nice sized, if a bit dated. There was a 1980s feel to it - but it's charming! We also spent some time on the lake - using the complimentary kayaks, which is an awesome bonus. All in all - just a lovely hotel. I would definitely put it on our "short list" if we were ever travelling to Mont-Tremblant ... Read more

Went for a wedding, stayed 4 days at this picture perfect lodge. Rustic exterior, beautiful interiors, great cuisine, recommend the French Toast at breakfast. A beautiful beach is a must for families in the summer, campfires and marshmallows to toast at the end of day.

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful Canadian Lodge during the winter school recess. It was a superior vacation. The Lodge is so accommodating: very nice Lake view suite, good bar, sauna, indoor pool. It's very close to the Mont Tremblant ski resort (free shuttle from the Lodge every 30 minutes). The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We had no any problems during our stay. We will come back definitely...

Booked one romantic night for me and my wife adding a bottle of champagne with strawberries. As we get to the hotel, no one at the reception, no champagne or strawberries and no cold water at the sink. Management said: "Sorry..." I would not recommend it and next time I will stay some place else.

We returned to The Grand Lodge this fall after an absence of a number of years. We had a suite overlooking the lake. The suite was very comfortable and well equipped and the view over the lake stunning. I have noted earlier comments that the hotel is a bit tired. We thought the public areas are exactly what you expect from a country lodge and not at all tired. I can understand how some of the furnishings in the suite might appear worn to some - we think they reflect the country lodge ambience a... Read more
