Stayed at the V Suites last June during Women's World (football) Cup and ended up loving it. Everyone was really nice - felt the woman who cleaned my room could have become a friend - and the Mediterranean style food and staff in Olyo restaurant were great. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and proved perfect for working in. It was one of the re-furbished ones though and I believe there is a big distinction between these and those yet to be up-dated. Bathroom was a bit basic but ev... Read more

We stayed for a weekend with our daughter. She had an event at the Capitol Theatre downtown. It was a very convenient 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has been renovated, and the rooms look nice and modern. I love that the floors in the rooms are laminate and not carpet! The beds were quite comfortable! Bathrooms have not been renovated - ours was tiny, with older sink and counter. Small shallow tub. The shampoo is a 2-in-1, and not very good. Next time I would bring my own. Check i... Read more

We stayed at the motel for the weekend and had a choice of breakfasts included with our stay. The first morning 3 of our 4 orders were wrong and we were overcharged for our hot chocolates by 1$ each. They gouge you on beverages to make up for free breakfast (ex. $3,99 for a small cup of hot chocolate) There were fruit flies everywhere. The next morning service was better, but we noticed the cook doesn't have a hair net nor a beard net, and the trash was overflowing. Fruits flies were present aga... Read more

Don't be fooled by the pictures on Expedia or wherever else you shouldn't book this hotel from. This is a glossed over motor inn, judging by the nicotine coloured tiles in the bathroom, built about 40 years ago or more. Loud, loud, loud. Noise from outside the room from the random weirdos wandering the parking lot (I'm a bit worries about my rental car). Even more noise from the hallway and through the ceiling. Smoke smelling, cigarette butt filled gardens to the point that I'm ashamed to s... Read more

First night of our vacation in Canada and we decided to "hotel-it" after a long travel day. Pulling our trailer so we'll be camping the rest of the way. We were greeted very warmly, our reservations were in order and lots of good information about our stay was provided. The room was clean and neat and we liked having a second door opening to the outside making moving in much easier. A very comfortable night and a pleasant experience.

My 2 nights at the V was an OK experience. The bedrooms were good but the bathrooms do need remodeling. The staff were great and the location was good. I did not try the pool but it did look good. Not one of my favorite hotel and I do think you can get better for the price.

Very nice room, friendly staff. Affordable. Small hot breakfast provided at next door restaurant. Pay a little more to get hardier breakfast. Short walking distance to downtown Moncton. Nice outdoor pool on which we had access from our bedroom. Very satisfied with our one day stay at this hotel.

Like many travellers, I was looking for just a bed and breakfast for a night as my stopover on the way to final destination PEI. These are the things that the hotel definitely needs to invest to fix: 1/ The wall is not soundproof and I could hear people talking loud in the neighbors get rooms. 2/ While I was taking a shower in the morning and someone in the next room flushed the toilet, I was almost got burned by the hot water because they probably share a cold water pipe which does have enou... I stayed there with my family and you can see that it was a motel that got redone. However the staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and the pool is clean as well. Stayed for 3 nights and no complains.

Stayed here for one night.. great price and everything was fresh and clean. Decent warm breakfast as well. Great price too. You can tell it's older but had been re done I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.

The check in and room are great. Comfortable bed and had a great dinner in the hotel dining room. Sound proofing would be an improvement. My only complaint is the breakfast included. Well if I have one egg, bacon or sausage with toast and hash browns I have to pay extra for coffee. To get free coffee I can have either cereal and milk or a muffin and milk. Hardly a breakfast where I come from. But I can order off the menu and use my credit for $6 off the bill...

Passing through Moncton, we stayed here twice in July 2016. That being said, it was obviously good enough to stay the second time, and we would return again. We booked with and it was one of the most affordable places in the area. Our first check-in was amazing; Gord quickly gave us all information required and we were on our way. Our 2nd check-in by another staff member was not so informative and I can see how some might find the breakfast etc. a surprise; Having been fully informed ... Read more

Pictures on website did not do justice! Was overwhelmed walking into V Hotel and realizing we made a mistake. The pictures on the website were misleading. Our room was small and completely outdated. Do not recommend this hotel. The only saving grace was the friendly staff at the front desk, and the pool was a great option for a family with kids.

Nice little place for quick stay in Moncton. It is CLEARLY a refurbished motel from the 50's or so (as evidenced by the bathrooms), but they have done a pretty good job with what must be a limited budget. If you want a basic, clean hotel close to the core, with free parking & WiFi, without lots of glamorous features, this is a great pick. The house restaurant was sweet and ideal for a small breakfast (although that coupon system is annoying as they should either include a full breakfast o... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for one night, perfect location, room Are really nice but a little small if you are 4 people, it's Double bed. Air conditioning works great and was not Too loud. Pool is ok but way too hot inside the complex Free breakfast was excellent and yes you have to pay for Your drink. I will definitely go back !!

I thought this would be a good, cost effective option for the family to stay at during our trip to Moncton. It was ok, but I would not go back. To say this was a 3 star hotel was not accurate. It was not well maintained - paint chipping, weeds, etc. It seemed like they had invested some money a few years back but didn't have the staff to keep it up.

Location close to town, lots of free parking. Restaurant next door was fantastic. Given 4 options to choose from for breakfast or you could use your voucher for $6 off anything on the regular breakfast menu, which was a nice option. Room was very large, clean and modern, beds extremely comfortable. This will now be my go-to hotel in Moncton.

I stayed with my two kids for a night on the way to PEI. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. The hotel is clean but the rooms are small. The bathroom is out dated and forget soaking in the bathtub after along day of driving. Also the water in the washroom shower was dangerously hit and a child could easily be scalded by the water. The front desk clerk that registered us was wonderful however the one one in the morning at checkout was rude and did not acknowledge us when we walked by ... Read more

We were drawn in by the photos on the website showing freshly renovated modern rooms. Not having carpet in the room was indeed a plus, but you can tell that it's an older place that was spruced up with the main emphasis on the lobby. The additional roll-away bed was waiting in our room as per our request and it was very comfortable. The pool area is small-ish, pool access is through a bizarre abandoned former hotel room. Our room was right next to the pool, so there was a little noise but luci... Read more

We booked a room last minute at this property for a one night stay and loved it! It was quiet, had modern touches and the staff was very friendly. We didn't spend a lot of time at the property but for the price, location and the quality of the rooms, I was impressed and will definitely stay again when I go to Moncton. I didn't try the restaurant but it looked good and I hope to give it a try when I return.

Our stay was overall great at the V. The rooms were exactly as pictured online, very clean and modern, clearly newly renovated. Free parking and strong internet. The location is also quite convienient and you can easily walk to some great downtown resteraunts. So, what's so bad about the breakfast? First - it's not really free you either get to choose from the 1 egg breakfast Or some small muffin/cereal options, you are expected to pay a tip. Second - if you don't want one of these small breakf... Read more

Bonus we could use vouchers towards other menu items to a max of $7. Gordon at the desk was very helpful! Thank you for a great stay!!

STAY AWAY. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. DANGEROUS HOTEL. The ceiling of room 118 collapse on top of me while I was asleep in room 118!! The owner is ignoring my request for a fair compensation. At approximately 12:30 am in the early morning of May 20th, the ceiling of room 118 collapsed on top of my body while I was asleep. It hit my body including my face. I have a slim built of a height of 5??3 and 110 lbs. The drywall and debris that collapsed was sizable. I estimate that the drywall to... Read more

Stayed at the V hotel on a Thursday night. Very clean and mostly renovated room. Bathroom was not fully done but was clean. Air conditioner worked well but was very loud, could not have it on and hear the tv . Some noise in the halls but not late so really no issue . The most notable negative would have to be the insulation between rooms when other guests were showering or flushing toilet it was very loud in our room to the pint of waking us up . But would stay here again.

I should have known that a cheap price point comes at a cost of comforts and cleanliness. The former outdoor pool area converted to indoor solarium style pool setting was littered with beer cans surrounding the entrance. The room was creepy with lack of lights and thank god it had laminate flooring as the carpets in hallway were disgustingly filthy. The bed was comfortable! But I slept with one eye open awaiting bugs to enter the room. I would not recommend this place unless you have "no other ... Read more

This is a very small hotel over two floors. Some rooms seem to have bathrooms that are more 'modern' than others since the renovations seem to have been done lately. Good restaurant is attached but beware the included breakfast is small (though of good quality) The highlight for me was unwinding in their semi-enclosed pool after a long day of work. It's kept warm and has a jacuzzi section with jets on a timer that you can turn on.

Everything about this place was great, apart from the fact that the room we had was too hot! When we approached the reception about this they suggested we open the window, and advised that the room we were in was above the boiler room which may be a contributory factor! Very well situated, nice rooms at a very good price point! Breakfast a bonus served in the adjoining restaurant. Good facilities including the swimming pool.

Stayed for one night in mid-November. Less than 10 minutes drive from Moncton Airport. Enjoyed the room - was clean and modern. Bathroom was slightly dated, but I expected it from other reviews and it really wasn't that bad! Friendly staff and Wi-Fi worked! The breakfast was great! We paid to have the upgraded breakfast and we really enjoyed it. Overall, would recommend!
