Had to move room due to washroom not clear properly. Hair in tub and used wash cloth still handing on the shower curtain. Over-all second room was ok, need some updating for the price charge. Wifi signal needs a boost. Hotel is close to the highway, restaurants and a ok shopping mall. Didn't get the chance their pool. Will I stay again? Yes I will and would recommend to friends and family.

Of course this is not a dream hotel not even nice but for a short business trip it does what it says in the tin at a great price. Large rooms with comfortable beds, decent shower and a ok bar, all that at a great price so if you are not going to hang around in the hotel a good place to sleep and have the last drink

Most Holiday Inn Express properties provide for a breakfast. Not this property. If you need to use the internet, be prepared to wait, if you can get it on your computer. The WiFi is slower than the old dial-up. It is frustrating to say the least. Other than that, the property is OK, but the Price is HIGH.

I stayed there quite often. The last time I was there is me last time. They put me on the second floor down by the pool. Kids running up and down the hall. I couldn't get much sleep until the kids went to their room. Which was around 10pm. I had 2 b up at 05:00. The time I got to sleep was around 0000. I got one of their cards (IHG REWARDS) Then find out that they give air miles. But they don't tell u that. Tried to see if they would changed them over to air miles. But they would not do it. Then... No internet access in my first room. I was moved to something close to center of hotel in lower floor since they didn't have booster ps to broadcast to higher floors and ends of halls. The floor in the room had toenails on it...not mine. They were still there the next day after cleaning again! Tried to get a Coke in the am. I had to go downstairs to buy a token for a machine that took two loonies. They wouldn't sell me one. They were out of pop in ALL machines in the hotel. I never did... Read more

Front desk reception was welcoming. John was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Stayed on the executive floor for a business trip. Not much of an executive floor. Could not access the executive lounge. Room size was adequate but small compared to competitors executive floors. Washroom was very small and awkward, wallpapered walls were dirty and stained. Sink had a large cracked in it. Mold was starting in the shower on the caulking. Carpet was stained and buckling. The bed and pillows... Read more

The hotel is OK, maybe a little pricey for its current shape. What really made this a bad experience was the internet service --or lack thereof. I needed to work, and I ended resorting to tethering to be able to connect using my phone as a hotspot. The speed of the hotel's internet connection was between 5.5 and 11 Mbps all the time, which is unacceptable. When I called the front desk to ask if they were having any issues, the response I got was that internet was slow due to the fact that the ho... Read more

This hotel is in serious need of updating. The wifi is beyond useless. The rooms are dated and dirty The restaurant service was terrible The bed was hard and lumpy The hallway doors slammed all night The workout room was a smelly joke The change rooms were hot and nasty The only positive was the location. I expect a lot more from a holiday Inn. Not impressed one bit. I guess you get what you pay for.

This hotel is pretty old. The room are not good and not new. The place is a good hotel if you run out of options. I cant tell is the worst hotel but is not a normal one. The keys always and I repeat always failed, because of the cellphone or creditcards or the air(kidding), id annoying to always configurate them. The elevator is old. I get mad because the manager didnt give me a resume of mu stay because he said that I paid by expedia and I have to ask them for the bill and info. Is close to th... Read more

This is one of the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. No fridge, no microwave by the way. I had a really noisy air conditionning and after complaining, they said they would move me, but only the day after because they were sold out. The day after, nothing was done, they said the a/c was fixed but it was not.Again they can do nothing before tomorrow because they are sold out. I had to sleep in a room without a/c when it was 34 celsius out there. On top of that, I found a bug on my bathr... Read more

Special thanks to Fiona the night Manager at the Holiday Inn Toronto for saving us from what could have been a disaster. The city was completely SOLD OUT, over booked and the next available Hotel was over an hour down the road. Thanks to fast thinking on the part of Fiona, she found is the one last room in the Eastern Hemisphere - at least in Toronto. Great hotel...great people...wonderful brunch and an exceptional location. Thank you...thank you....thank you.

I had to travel to Mississauga on business. This Holiday Inn is on our approved hotel list. Kind of a no-brainer. The hotel was very average. Maybe on the downside of average. It seemed dated, but given the area, it's somewhat understandable. The bed was comfortable enough. The TV worked. Service was fine. The entire experience was free of anything notable, either good or bad. I can recommend this hotel if what you really need is a place to sleep and at least one Tim Horton's nearby.

This hotel isn't exactly anything special, but it got the job done. There were three of us and we booked a two queen bed room, but we got a queen bed and a pull out couch. The pull out couch, of course, was not comfortable. The bathroom was okay, but they were really stingy with supplies. We didn't get a chance to use the pool. Check in and out was easy, staff was nice. Nothing really to use in the room - no microwave, mini fridge, nothing but a TV.. Wi-fi didn't work

We are a family of 4. We have booked over the Internet, the site mentioned that several kind of room were available and that the final choice will be done upon the arrival. We had a one double bed room and a single sofa bed. When I asked to change room, the front desk officer was arrogant and helpless. He told me that I had make my reservation on the Internet and I had to manage with that. I wanted to cancel my reservation, and he told me that it was impossible. Finally, we had to stay. No sheet... Oh dear. I slept well but that was exhaustion rather than the frankly decrepit room allocated. I can safely say this is the most run down Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. Lights didn't work, taps wobbled, chairs teetered. Both chairs were badly stained as were all carpets. Aircon worked very noisily, Internet didn't, not at all! I guess that if in future I find myself in Mississauga for one night and everywhere else is really pricey, and this is less than $100 then I guess I might stay here - a... Read more

I arrived absolutely exhausted after a long haul flight from Australia. The staff member on reception was quick to supply me with cold water which was much appreciated. I was asked my prefernce for rooms and was given a ground floor room. The staff from reception to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Sure the fittings and rooms weren't 5star but this was reflected in the rates charged. Quiet hotel that I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The hotel itself is old and worn out. I bought an air freshener to combat the stale odor in the room. It was all dated fixtures, linens and carpets. That said, the employees couldn't have been nicer. They won all the positive points here.

The food is superb and the hotel staff are friendly, helpful and did everything possible to make our stay a good one. Unfortunately, they had the age of the hotel working against them. I am disabled and require an accessible room. We stayed for 5 days and were given a room right next to the pool. To say our room was hot, was an understatement. So we immediately had to have someone come to fix the air-conditioning. While they did get it working it would go off again and again, so rather than call... Read more

Stayed here one night for an event in Toronto. Arrived early, room wasn't ready, but we didn't expect it to be. Waited 1/2 hour room was ready. We dropped our stuff and headed into Toronto. We reserved a Queen bed suite. When we got back at midnight, exhausted we discovered that the queen bed was at best a full. A tight squeeze for 2 adults. It was too late and we were too tired to fuss about it. The "suite" has no real separation for the bed form the rest of the room, so there was no pr... Read more

This was my second stay at this location. The manager is great, the ladies at breakfast service are great. The room was clean and comfortable as I had a mini suite. The only fly in the ointment was a creepy waiter that was peeking at us in the bar at the end of the night on Sunday; in order to rush us out the door. Check in /out was fast and accurate. Love the pool at this location as it is big enough to actually swim in (and it is away from prying eyes). This is my hotel of choice when ... Read more

I wish I could give lower than 1/5. His place is dirty, run down, and embarrassing. The staff is rude, completely clueless about their grounds, and wildly inept. We had requested adjoining rooms and an early check-in. We were told this would not be an issue. Upon check in, we had to wait until someone showed up at the front desk (there really is no staff around), and were told they had no record of our request and that one room wasn't ready yet. It wasn't ready for a few hours later - well past ... Read more

Arrived and unfortunately the person who made the reservation for me and my cousin was my cousin's father. Because the first name didn't match on the reservation they basically just handed back our credit card and ID and said no to the room. I can understand their concern but there are better ways to handle this. Instead of just saying no to the room and handing back our credit card/ID cards you could have said "unfortunately we would need to speak with the person who made the reservation" or... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights and thought it was more satisfactory. I had a mini suite with living area on the 6th floor. Room was clean, bed comfy and had all I needed to be comfortable. Breakfast was quite good and enough variety for even the pickiest eaters... coffee was great. The room had a fridge but yes empty, probably should atleast have some bottled water.
