This hotel is very close to the airport, with no real traffic to deal with on the way to the airport. The room was very clean and quiet. I really appreciate the cooked-to-order breakfasts and the variety available for breakfast. The hotel staff was friendly, and eager to please. Refrigerator and Keurig in the room.

I always get a goodnight sleep. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the hotel is quiet. Which for me makes a perfect stay. I also feel my car is safe when using park and fly as the cars are parked in view of the front desk.

Good hotel conveniently located to Edmonton International Airport with shuttle service. Restaurant in hotel is good for a few days but for long stays a car is recommended. Hotel also has one bedroom suites for small families or couples that want to share. Free wifi available.

My husband is a fisherman and flies into Edmonton to stay the night and continue on to Fort Smith. He always has lots of equipment with him and has told me that the staff here are absolutely outstanding and go way out of their way to help him. He stays there every time he goes and will not let me book any other hotel for him. Enough said. I have never gone with him to the remote fishing camp, Arctic Nights Lodge, and consequently have never stayed there myself, but he raves about it.

I stayed at this property last month and had no issues. This one night stay, however was very disappointing. I am always surprised, when checking in and the parking lot is pretty empty, that I am not offered an upgrade being that I am a HHonors Diamond VIP. (Especially since the night before this I stayed at the Courtyard in Edmonton and even though I booked a 2 queen room, they upgraded me to a King- without asking- and I'm only Silver on Marriott...) When in Edmonton on business, I've usually just stayed in Edmonton south area, but given I had a flight at 6am on my last night in Edmonton, I decided I would try one of the airport area hotels. This property did not disappoint, relatively new property, spacious & modern rooms and main lobby area was clean and inviting. The room rate was very reasonable and I would consider staying again if I had to catch an early flight and get an extra 30 minutes of sleep. If I had a knock on this location it... Read more

We stay here 1 night for a flight the next day. We really weren't there very long but it was fine. We checked in, used the fitness facilities and the hot tub (pool wasn't warm enough) then slept and checked out. There wasn't a breakfast included so we ate at the airport, but there was a restaurant available which isn't much cheaper than the airport food. Would stay again.

This hotel recently was the host site for a 3 day Antique Auto Meet consisting of about 170 people and 88 vintage cars. The staff was outstanding looking after all our requests, the food was excellent and the rooms perfect. Banquet facilities and meeting rooms were just what we needed. If there were any small glitches they were fixed promptly. The staff is extremely friendly and obliging. Overall, less than the experience I expected. While the rooms were very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, I was surprised by the poor quality of food and a couple of small, but important things. In a hotel of this caliber, wine should not be served in plastic cups (really!) and coffee should not be served in paper cups.

Stayed here in order to catch an early morning flight. The location is very tranquil; just about 5-7 mins from the airport and the road is not very busy. So it strikes a good balance between being accessible to the airport while still a tranquil location. Also just about 30 mins from downtown Edmonton. The hotel facilities are quite satisfactory. Staff were warm and very friendly indeed. Rooms are decent sized. The business center was also very useful, for printing some documents that I needed. ... Read more

This was the second time I‚??ve stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn, with the prior visit being in late 2015. Overall, I was surprised to see how much it has gone downhill. The climate control system in the room was exceptionally noisy. The hotel is situated in an ugly industrial zone. Approaching the hotel one sees something that looks like an oil rig. The parking is landscaped with small trees, which if survive (most of them have quite visible die back) would provide some shade to the cars after at least 20 years. How this bare bones "thing" can have a "garden" in its name! So ugly on the outside! The logistics for parking are unacceptable. I travel a lot and this is my favorite hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that they do not keep the coffee out 24/7 like other HGI or Hamptons. This hotel is very convenient to the airport and rooms are comfortable. Major downside here is room service finishes at 10pm, which after travelling for 30 odd hours we really could have used some dinner, and there is nothing nearby where you can eat. They do have a "pantry" in the lobby, but pot noodles weren't really going to cut it. Since this hotel is supposed to cater for an international airport, maybe a small after hours menu could be added.

First of all this is a very clean hotel. I have no problems with the cleanliness of this facility. My problem is as a diamond member I was told that it is the rule of the franchisee to offer no upgrades. So if you have any sort of status with Hilton, don't bother coming here because they will not offer upgrades even though every type of room may be available. They overall stay was good. The shuttle took just about an hour to pick us up from the airport, So we were not impressed at all with that service. I would take a cab next time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed by the time we got there because the shuttle took so long and there was nothing close to go too as it is a bit out of the way of everything. I stay in this hotel often for business and find the entire staff to be anxious to make staying here to be pleasant and hassle free. The rooms are typical Hilton Garden, which is to say nice but not pretentious (while maintaining HG's odd conflicting Bathroon/Hall door conflict, but that is everywhere), they have a nice selection of Keurig coffee and tea in each room but it is the staff that makes this hotel special.
