Stayed Saturday night with the family. Clean and spacious room but hotel was rocking between kids sport teams and parties. Pool facilities would have been outstanding but 20 screaming kids playing with sauna and steam room controls ruined it for us. More of a parental problem then hotel but still annoying. Other issues needed to go front desk to ask for pool towels no coffee cups in room. But if you want to shop... thus is the place to go.

The service I got was good and the staff was very pleasing. The room and general public areas are very spacious including the lobby, bar, gym (relatively to other places) and the room itself. Breakfast was standard. Good location right next to the Carrefour larval shopping center.

My review is based on a one night stay in a room with two queen size beds. The room was clean with comfortable beds, nice bathroom and standard TV. I found the room small and noisy since its located next to two major roadways. The staff was friendly and room service was prompt with good food. Overall this is a nice hotel however, its not extravagant with basic amenities.

Love this hotel. Managed to stay on the club floor for two nights before I did a room change. The hotel is clean and modern. There is plenty to do with the shopping centre across the road. The hotel gets busy sometimes with reunions so do t leave booking too late.

I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions for business. Having also stayed at the Holiday Inn across the road, the Sheraton is definitely my preference due to the proximity to the mall (Carrefour Laval) and the quality of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. During my most recent stay they quickly addressed an issue I had with the thermostat in my room. They also called after it was fixed to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Each time I have stayed the r... Read more

We recently stayed at the Sheraton Laval. The hotel is very clean, staff was very pleasant. One staff member had a little difficulty in speaking English but another person behind the desk took over with no problem. The breakfast is buffet only..and is $14.95. I would say it was just ok. I also think coffee should be available 24 hours. We wake up early 5:30 am and would like a good cup of coffee...not one made from the coffee machines in your room with creamers that contain sugar. Hotel has good location and the amenities were fantastic, shopping mall and so many restaurants within the hotel as well as nearby. Nice, clean room and comfy bed. Excellent healthy breakfast at the launch. This hotel is suitable for everybody, I would recommend it as especially for the business guests.

I must say the beds here are REALLY comfy. I slept with my daughter and I couldn't even feel her moving around. The pool, steam room, and sauna are very clean. The location is absolutely fabulous! I will stay here again the next time I come to Montreal.

The Sheraton has the team tournament down to a science. There were zero issues with noise, due to policies. Security available and teams all stay on the same floor. Breakfast buffet ($14/pp or $7 for children 11 and under) was always fully stocked despite large numbers of hungry families. Fresh fruit and many hot a cold options, juice and coffee. A la carte menu also available to those adverse to buffet. The rooms very comfortable, standard Sheraton beds, mini fridge but no microwave. Ample pa... Read more

Spent an overnight visit here for the first time, on business. Plus with this property is the urban location, free parking and proximity to shops. I am an SPG platinum and so appreciate the amenities. This Sheraton in particular did well. The Sheraton Club Lounge is large and spacious and the evening appetizers (sushi!) were generous and tasty. Likewise with the breakfast. Staff were very courteous and helpful, especially the young female server who had just started on June 28 in the club ... Read more

Nice hotel, right on Carrefour Laval shopping centre, one of the best (shopping centre) in Montreal area. Spa, sauna, pool and hot/cold tub was amazing. big nice room. and clen. surely recommended. what was annoying was the lack of functional english from staff, including reception. hey seems to have an obsession for french in Quebec. Hope will wake up one day.

Stayed at this hotel for business meeting the next day, but hotel overall had its hits and misses. Very nicely situated next to the biggest mall in the area and many good dining & entertainment options within a short drive. Hotel itself is clean and nicely decorated and staff are friendly. Not sure of the age of this hotel, but a frequent problem with some of these older properties is that at one point in the past the rooms allowed smoking, and while rooms are non-smoking now, the smell never g... Stayed at the Sheraton Laval same time last year. Nice upgrades done to the guest rooms and common areas. Only a few minor issues... 1) had to move on the second night as I was originally in room 710 and the noise from the highway was unbearable. And since I was staying for over 9 days, it was not acceptable. I also heard from a few other coworkers that were staying ad well and anyone along that highway side requested to be moved due to the noise level. Front desk had no problems with my ... Read more

Not good. We drive up to the hotel entrance and had to maneuver our car through a crowd of people sitting all over the benches and curbs smoking. As we wheeled our luggage through a cloud of tobacco smoke, several teenage soccer players were playing in the revolving door. The lobby was full of soccer players who were making so much noise that we could barely hear the clerk at the front desk. The hotel clerks seemed to prefer answering the telephone than assisting us. It's just across the Laval mall. Basically walked over to do shopping while hubby worked! Being platinum we got upgraded to suite with jacuzzi and walk in shower. Only issue was that our room was right next to the service room and we heard door slamming and workers talking and making lots of noise. Also we have late check out at 4 and was 3:58 they knocked 2 times came in while I was using washroom then decided to slam door then 5mins later 4:04 they called room, really! Lets address the main issue with this hotel...The front door. Without exaggeration, we had to maneuver through no less than 18 individuals smoking cigarettes and literally blocking the entrance. If it wasn't for the fact I had to be here for a meeting I would have immediately left to find another hotel. Once inside the staff was nice, the rooms nice and clean. Healthy choices were available for breakfast. Safe in room for valuables.

Lackadaisical attitude in keeping guests waiting for the rooms. The rooms were not cleaned for 2 hours after the checkin time. This was done even for the club rooms which is on 2nd floor and costs almost 30% more than the normal rooms. The club floor is just at level 2 and the rooms towards the highway are noisy compared to the normal rooms on higher levels booked by my colleagues. The breakfast available as part of the fare is only cold breakfast with a really average spread. Hence club rooms ... Read more

Sheraton has a good reputation for having clean, modern, classic hotel rooms. This property is no exception. Front-desk service was excellent. Staff were friendly and responsive. Everything was clean as expected. We were her for a large event. The banquet food was excellent. Tasty, well prepared and presented. Not what you expect for a large venue. I was impressed. We were to attend a convention at this hotel. The special rate rooms were all sold out, so had to take a suite. I was quoted one amount on the phone but when we came to pay, it was $15 more per night to the quoted amount. One of the toilets was so loose when you sat on it, it felt like it might tip over. I just feel when you are paying $289+ then you would expect the room to be in tip top shape. It was also very noisy. The room was clean though.

We had a conference in the hotel. We were not able to get in on the block rate for the convention. I was quoted $275 for a suite but was actually billed $289 per night. It was noisy although we were on the top most floor and the last room in the hallway. The elevators quit working on the morning we were leaving. For the price I would have expected better. Nice restaurant on premise. Lovely shopping mall just across the street.

It is quite outdated and has no fan therefore by the time the last of us had our shower in the morning there was condensation dripping from the ceiling. Something needs to be done with it. This has always been a staple for Sunday brunch in the greater Montreal area. It's a little pricey but it's definitely one of the best brunches available. Always good food and nice ambiance. Roaming musicians make for a very nice touch. Birthdays, anniversaries or any occasion promises to be memorable here. A very wide selection of food in a classy buffet layout.
